Afterglow Physician Directed Medical Aesthetics

I have been hestitated for long time whether I should leave a comment or not. But now I decide to do that. First, I paid 150 dollars for a 30-minute virtual Zoom meeting for consultation for moderate acne scar revision. Dr. Ebrahim was a little bit late and hurried ending up. We only had 9-minutes Zoom meeting and she told me I can meet her in person, but she did not tell me that I can meet her in Dermapure at that time.
Thus, I called the phone number on her website, but it showed that it was an unavailable phone number.so I emailed her many times. There were no reply in my first three my email. In the fourth email I showed my unsatisfaction. She seemed to be angry and emailed back in which she told me not to email her again. After many times phone call and email negotiations, we finally meet in Dermapure. We had planned to meet at 4: 15pm, but I was told to meet at 3pm just one hour before 3pm at that day.
Moreover, I felt that I was not respected when I discuss about my treatment plan with her, I was frequently interrupted in the conversation and she told me to take 6-time ablative laser treatment (profactional laser) and scrulptra. I said whether I can pay and take first profactional laser and scrulptra because I need to wait to see the result of first treatment and adjust the treatment plan based on the result. She just said no and she told me that I had to made a decision and commitment at that time.

It seems that she just wanted money and she did not care about patients. She is not responsible and she did not respect her patients at all. So I will not take risk on treatment with irresponsible doctor. I think I just throw 150 dollars to the garbage.

Though I am not satisfied with the experience there, I have to say that the front desk staff is kind.

For most of my adult life I've struggled with hair loss, even after trying out different products/methods suggested by the medical and online communities. I reached out to Dr. Ebrahim as a sort of last ditch effort, and I'm so glad that I did! In 4 months, I have seen more hair growth using her prescribed methods than I have in the prior 10 years of my hair loss journey. Dr. E and her staff at the Westview clinic are so welcoming and accommodating, and I'm so grateful for their help. If you're thinking about booking with them, I can not recommend their services enough!

I had been getting botox for 3 years prior at a different med spa and for the last year was not seeing any results. I was convinced I had become immune to it. I emailed Afterglow explaining my situation and explained how I was hesitant about continuing botox if I wasn’t seeing results, they assured me that I would see results if I came in. I’ve been coming to Afterglow for the last 2 years and am so happy with my results. Mona is the greatest and has perfected her technique on my very strong forehead muscles. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I always leave with a smile on my face! I 100000% recommend Afterglow.:)

I brought in my mother for skin rejuvenation, dermal filler and Botox injections. She is very pleased with the results. Very professional team and I recommend them fully.

About a month ago I had a terrible fall leaving me with severe bruises all over my face and head. A friend recommended Afterglow to me and I am VERY happy I went to them for their services. I had 5 laser treatments to get rid of the bruising and I am THRILLED with the results. My technicians were Terry and Oksana. Both ladies were very kind, very patient with me, and explained everything so I knew what to expect. I looked like a monster when I first came in, and now have my face back. THANK YOU! All the ladies at reception, both locations were equally kind, very friendly, and I was made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

I regret going there, bad experience, Botox over my
lip did not work at all, very small improvement, complained and had another appointment, thankfully Dr Ebrahim was there and she gave me more Botox but not free, had to pay more. I do not trust this company.

I had a very bad experience 2 times After I paid for a virtual appointment for my daughter 150 $ I didn’t get a prescription 3 days later and I’m still waiting called so many times And no one called me back even though they said they would I’m been ignored and dissatisfied Charging people money and not doing a proper job it’s not Professional at all

I am so glad my beautiful niece recommended Oksana! I have mature skin and a history of skin cancer; therefore it was reassuring to have my procedures done by someone with a medical background. I have gone to the Westview location for a Laser Hair Removal and let me tell you, I have never been more pleased with the customer service I've received. They Oksana and Haley both were very professional and kind, took their time to answer all my questions and concerns. The clinic manager, Saba, even stepped in for a chit chat and explained to me that since I have travel plans coming up, it'll be best to wait and start my treatments after so there won't be any gaps between my session for achieving the best possible results. I was so happy with them that I went back for Botox with Mouna and have plans to go back for a nose Filler. The whole team are friendly, caring and knowledgeable.

My experience at Afterglow has been absolutely wonderful. Terry is knowledgeable, professional, always makes me feel comfortable and my results have been outstanding! I highly recommend Afterglow!

My go to laser technician is Haley Fox and she does such an amazing job! Something I really admired was when I told her I was going on vacation to a hot summer destination she told me it would be better if we cancelled that particular session cause there might be a chance I would get permanent burns from a combination of laser and the sun. This was something I didn’t think of but she did. Goes to show that this clinic really looks out for their clients. She could’ve easily given me that treatment and get some extra money but she didn’t and that’s why this clinic and Haley in particular are outstanding!

Wanted to wait out the 3 months before commenting on this service. I had a spider vein come up on my face and Afterglow basically removed it in seconds. It was almost gone within a day and then completely gone in 3 months. Very happy with the customer service as well, super nice. I don't normally leave reviews, but these people get it! Thank you again.

Amazing experience here at Afterglow! Dr. E and The staff here are incredible, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! I drive out from Langley and it is worth the drive! Anyone who needs help with their skin needs to book a consult today! I came in with no confidence wearing no makeup and now I can go out with absolutely no makeup on (this is HUGE for me), they didn’t only give me great skin but gave me my self confidence back! TARA the Skincare specialist/Laser Tech is an absolutely superstar, her knowledge and personality make every appointment enjoyable and fun! She is the reason I make the 2hr drive.

My past experience with Ulterapy wasn't a good one to say the least. Sitting with Tara, she explained the newest laser wasn't painful and gave wonderful results. Tara really was amazing, she made me feel comfortable, and basically held my hand throughout whole procedure, which was really painless and over quickly. Its only been a few weeks and I have noticed a difference in my jaw area. Yearly Ulterapy is now a go to for helping slow down my aging process.

I had under eye filler done from another physician that caused festoons under my eyes. I looked like a clown. I'm so happy Shehla was able to correct his mistake, not too many will. My eyes look beautiful now, im so happy. Mona was very sweet, answered my questions and concerns that I had as I was scared it wouldn't get corrected, or would've looked worse. Just book an appointment you'll be glad you did.

I came to Afterglow about 5 years ago after not being completely satisfied with the service and quality at other doctor led medical aesthetics. What a difference. First of all, extremely friendly and professional staff. Genuinely interested in your success and not pushing treatments and product. Dr. Ebrahim is a consummate professional. I had previously spent thousands on laser treatment for brown spots with minimal results. Dr. E was able to significantly reduce the spots at a fraction of the cost. I never feel like she is pushing product or treatments. Then we have Technician Tara Nemeth. Just so friendly and caring and really trying to help me to achieve my esthetic objectives. I highly recommend Afterglow as your go-to place for various medical aesthetic treatments.

Dr Ebraheim and her team were very professional and the service was well performed. They took the time to review what I wanted and did not try to upsell me on products that I didn't need or want. I would definitely go back and recommend my friends to go as well.

Tara was so friendly and professional in the consultation. During my treatment I felt very comfortable with how she explained everything that was happening. It’s only been a month and I’m already seeing results on my arms. Can’t wait to do my tummy next.

I saw Tara at Afterglow for IPL because I was concerned about skin discoloration. It was, hands down, the best money I have ever spent. Tara is so professional and she knows exactly what she’s doing. I couldn’t be happier with my results.

The most painful injections I have ever had. She didn't bother to use ice like every other doctor I have been too. She made me keep the muscle in a flexed and rigid position during the injection when no other doctor has ever ask for this and made the injections excruciating. Over 24 hours later and my forehead is still in so much pain.
On top of that the Doctor was very rude. I was clarifying some information on IPL procedures, when she stomped out to the front desk telling me she had already told me about BBM. I said "what is BBM", we hadn't talked about that acronym. She angrily told me IPL and BBM are the same thing. How was I supposed to know that and why was she so angry I had questions about the IPL.
I think it is a bit of a money grab. My injections were more expensive here than elsewhere and I came in to discuss my rosacea but she told me I had to go to a walk in clinic she worked at to get a referral to her at her dermatological clinic simply so she could write me a prescription for some cream (cream my other cosmetics doctor had no issue prescribing me during an injection visit). Two extra appointments for a prescription? I don't think I'll waste my time or MSPs money.
They also wanted me to come all the way back to their clinic simply to take after photos. As a patient I have a mirror and can see the results, I shouldn't be expected to waste my time so they can have marketing material and I certainly won't be coming back for more injections.
Try somewhere else if you can.

The staff are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Particularly they have been very conscientious about Covid protocols. They are always on time and make me feel at ease.

I am usually not one to take the time to write a review, but here we are! I have struggled with melasma the last few years, and each year in the attempt to minimize the problem I get chemical peels. I am so happy that I came across Afterglow! I saw the lovely Tara for chemical peels and product guidance, and Dr. Ebrahim for her magical compound. I saw huge results in 6 weeks and in the height of summer (which is usually when melasma is at it's worst). I am thrilled to have found a reliable, well educated team that I will most certainly keep coming back to see for all of my skin concerns and needs.

I went in for a consultation and met with Terry. She was great! She outlined the options for me in a very professional and not pushy way. I felt that she was on my side. Great!
