Not sure why none of the reviews talk about how rude the staff are here. I’ve only been a couple of times but specifically remember how presumptuous these employees act. Each time I ask the best spot to order drinks the ladies are straight up unpleasant and impatient with us and their large selection despite being the only customers at that time. Food was good but the service could use some maaaajor improvement.

Very disappointed. I ordered a strawberry flavored Vancouver cheesecake for my birthday few days ago, and I tipped $10 just to hoping they make my cheesecake better. It supposed to be a pink cheesecake, but they made a chocolate cake today which I don’t accept. Instead of it, they gave me a plain cheesecake and some strawberry purée on side because they don’t have time to make another one. I am not happy with my birthday cake, I am not happy with my $90 spent.

If you can check the camera, you will see: I ordered a strawberry favoured Vancouver cheesecake and I paid $90 in cash and said keep the change, after that I ordered 2 more pieces of coconut cheesecake and paid another $20 cash. It was on Thursday, Dec 21st around 9: 10pm.

I stopped in Friday August 11 to get a piece of cheesecake to go. We ate it for dessert and we’re disappointed to find it dry, chewy and crumbly. The soft ice cream cone I also had was not creamy and more like frozen water with icy little particles throughout. I threw most of it away. Very disappointed today.

Wife bought a desert, it was NOT good she took it back. They threw it out and would offer nothing in exchange. She had to buy something else. We drove an hour and a half for this not good experience.

We came for cheesecake. Husband had the ice cream sundae which was absolutely delicious. Creamy and truly reminded us of ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.

I had the mars bar and it was horrible. I touched it with my fork and it crumbled apart it was so dry.

While his would be a repeat, I think I would rather just make it at home.

The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The coffee and treats are fairly priced too. I didn't try their cake slices, but they look very decadent.

Such a lovely place to enjoy some cake and coffee. We had a good time in here, also met the owner which was so kind and friendly, she gave us a small tour of the kitchen and the back area. Everything looked so clean and well placed, good organizing. The cakes tased nice, they give quite big sizes, prices are decent. Would recommend.

I was going to order some dessert on Doordash, but after seeing how the owner responds to constructive feedback, I decided I much rather also have generic dessert from Save On.

If you don't like the feedback or comments, at least handle it like a professional. People are choosing to spend their hard earned money at your establishment.

Great place to hang out for dessert. Maybe a soup and dessert next time. Cheese cakes are marvelous.

I go there almost every day during my lunch hour, and generally, the service is good. Though unfortunately this afternoon, I was rudely asked to wait while it took two people to serve one lady in front of us (one to serve the cake, and one to stare). It was not a training session, it seemed that they were all given a job, and no one wanted to deviate from it to provide good customer service.

All I can say is WOW. The most delicious cake we have ever eaten in our entire life. Looked absolutely gorgeous and we are so truly grateful that they were able to make this special request cake for us for our event. Mocha log bottom and lemon cake top. Thank you so much Afterthoughts and team!

A little disappointed with the cheese cakes we picked up for a b day party. They tasted very bland, not rich at all, we expected better considering the price.

The staff is incredibly rude and provided the worst service ive ever recieved.
What's incredible though is that after being verbally abused by a staff member, I was banned. I was banned for being there.and being yelled at for.being there?

So dissapointed in the customer service from the actual owner of this bakery. I called ahead twice to get information about the cakes, how many ppl it serves etc. I was given misinformation so the cake i ordered and paid 70$ for was for half the amount of ppl they told me. I called to speak to the manager and she literally told me I should have known better. What? ! Besides that the cake was not amazing and definitely not worth 70$. I would not order again.

Went here few weeks ago we came from Surrey, the cakes were amazing, staff was friendly, place looked clean, it was super busy that day it was a Sunday.they did have a g great selection of goodies!

This place is horrible in customer service. People who are serving the clients are very unprofessional in customer service.
I’ll never go back there as my friend also was discriminated by them last week, and when I heard her story it really broke my heart.

Awful! The experience was terrible and the girl at the front was very rude. Also the old lady with the short hair was extremely rude and aggressive. I will never step foot in that establishment again.

Absolutely Terrible experience the cheese cake was dry and bland like it was made of sand. The staff were so incredibly rude and Condescending.

-5 is a far better rating as the cheese cake is both dry and not original as for the pies they are the worst joke of the place and the cakes are worthless globs of a mess waste of money better off buying a cheap cake from your local grocery store then to eat anything from here just that simple!

A decent place to hang out and have tea or so. Their cakes are decent, but not consistent. The lady at the reception seems like she just wants the next person in line, not her fault since it’s so busy there’s always a line up.

I would recommend adding someone at the front to make the service better. Overall, I would recommend.

I give this a 3 star just because of the drinks. So, I ordered the ice matcha latte and I would say it wasn’t the best? I’ve always ordered the same thing. (And it was always PERFECT, more flavour/cold & how it should be made) But today it was too warm and less flavour— tasted more like milk than matcha. There was also another drink which was the iced americano— problem was the same as the first drink, no flavour and was warm.very disappointing. Lastly service was not good, didn’t even ask if we wanted a remake. (They knew they made a mistake, just from their expression to the drinks) They looked very annoyed to serve us. I don’t know if I’ll be returning back. ‍️ 3 star cuz of their atmosphere. (Otherwise it would’ve been a 1 star)

I'm usually here for business meetings, as I find it a perfect environment to relax and talk business.

Met up with several friends for a late evening birthday dessert celebration. The restaurant was busy but there was still a decent selection of treats available.
Waited a very long time for my drink, with several people who placed orders long after me receiving theirs first. Turned out my order had been forgotten.
After asking about it, the response I was given was a sheepish "oh, must have forgotten that one" with no real apology. Disappointing seeing as by the time I made it back to the table to join my friends, they were already done their drinks and treats and were nearly ready to leave.
