DJ Mukhpreet deserves a shoutout. He made our wedding dinner reception above and beyond anything we could imagine. He is also an excellent communicator and someone you can trust with your big day.

When we first entered the reception hall prior to the official start to the program, we were SO impressed with Mukhi's music selection, and how it added to the ambience during the cocktail hour and throughout the evening. He really did wonders in setting the tone and creating a comfortable atmosphere for our guests.

Everything about the grand-entrances and games went so smoothly with the music coordination and all. And need we mention the dance party? That was an absolute blast and after the wedding, we heard so much positive feedback about how much fun folks had on the dance floor.

We hired Airwaves Music DJ Jude for our corporate event and couldn't be more pleased. DJ Jude is amazing! He literally made my life so easy. Flexible, friendly, engaging and great choice of tunes. We would definitely welcome DJ Jude back to any of our events in the future as we know his professionalism and easy-going attitude will follow him on any journey or assignment.

We worked with Airwaves for our wedding back in August and would definitely recommend their services. Our event manager, Maddison, was great with checking from the beginning all the way to after the wedding to make sure everything went well. Their online planning tools were helpful and user friendly. Our wedding was a mix of Latin - Canadian cultures and working with DJ Juan was great.

Could not be more happy with the service we received from Airwaves from start to finish. We booked them to DJ our wedding in Squamish. From the very start their team was easy to communicate with and made the music planning portion of our wedding easy and fun. Music was the most important part of our wedding, to me and my husband, and their team made sure it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Patrick (our DJ for the day) was INCREDIBLE and had literally every single one of our guests on the dance floor.

Honestly, hiring Airwaves was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! The communication and planning was exceptional, and we felt so supported every step of the way. They set us up with online planning forms which made it so easy to input all of our important info and all of the songs we wanted played (and the ones we didn't!). We had Stacey as our DJ and she KILLED it! We got so many compliments on how well she did and it truly felt like a party which is exactly what we wanted. I couldn't recommend this company enough!

My husband and I hired a DJ with Airwaves for our wedding in November 2022. Communication with the management team was fantastic. They were responsive to our questions and understanding of our needs. However, the DJ Airwaves provided us, Alec, was disappointing. During our ceremony, as our wedding party was exiting, the music abruptly ended. This made the remaining exits of the bridal party awkward as they left.

Another moment was our father-daughter dance, we had instructed Alec to fade the song at a specific time during our initial meeting and via online forms, however, this was forgotten during the moment. This left my dad and I in an awkward position as my husband rushed to the DJ to end the song.
During the mother-son dance, there were a couple of moments the music stopped playing through the speakers.

Lastly, we had a list of songs that we wanted to be played during the night, but these were never played. It was rather disappointing as we had taken the time to make this list and many months to plan. Overall the company was a great service, especially for weddings. Be advised to make sure to research your DJ before accepting them for your event.

We used airwaves music for our wedding near Vancouver on a recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint! The booking process was easy, and our airwaves contact Maddison was always quick to respond. They assigned our DJ, Stacey to our wedding a few weeks before and she was a perfect match for us. She did an absolutely incredible job juggling our eclectic music tastes and keeping the dancefloor full all night long!

My impression is that this company takes on weddings and events whether or not they have enough DJs to actually work them.

I was contacted by Airwaves this year to ask if I was available to DJ any of six upcoming weddings. I agreed to work one in September and after a significant amount of prep and new expectations being thrown in after the fact (ex: shadowing a gig setup despite having 15 years of experience) I was suddenly let go because they thought I hadn’t shown up to the shadow gig. I called multiple times to try and speak with someone and no one would return my calls.

If you are a DJ or a client, be cautious working with this company. You may end up wasting your time and energy.

Our DJ we booked with another company fell through weeks before my event. I reached out and connected with Danice who recognized my urgency and helped me find a DJ right away. Not only was she able to find someone for our event, but she also secured a back up to ensure a cancellation wouldn’t happen again. She was professional and so pleasant to work with! I highly recommend reaching out to this team if you are looking for DJ services.

Owen was amazing and was so easy to work with throughout the entire time that we worked with him for our wedding. He took to heart all of our suggestions and delivered. He was great at managing song requests throughout the night and reading the energy of the room. Overall he was super fun and would recommend for any party.

Airwaves Music honestly made our wedding reception the party that it was. DJ Jovie was able to take requests and work them seamlessly into the playlist. Our whole guest list was up on the floor dancing (even our grandparents) and keep mentioning to us afterwards how much fun it was. The online portal leading up to our wedding was very easy to use and kept everything organized. Can't recommend them enough!

We had a great experience working with Airwaves, the team was easy to work with and our DJ Thomas was fantastic! He read the room and the music/ vibe was perfect! The event couldn't have gone better! Highly recommend!

Airwaves was such an easy and great company to work with. Their website is the perfect planner, and makes it easy to communicate with the company/DJ. With their guarantee, you know you will have a DJ at your event no matter what! I very much enjoyed working with them.

Airwaves Music was amazing to work with for our wedding last August; their portal was easy to use and helped us plan our music and timeline. They had great response time and set us up with DJ Beau who did a fabulous job. He did the music for our entire day and was amazingly quick at getting music playing during our cocktail party between the ceremony and reception. He was so good with us and our guests during the reception and was able to modify the timeline on the fly when dinner started late so the photographer could capture the first dance photos before she left. We definitely recommend Airwaves Music and DJ Beau Loomer.

Had to post-pone our wedding due to COVID restrictions. Changed dates as well as locations (from Kelowna to the lower mainland). Danice from Airwaves was amazing! Everything was moved without a problem and no extra charges. Such a pleasure to deal with!

Airwaves booked us DJ Brad Rachuk for our wedding and he was the perfect DJ for our event. He had great remixes and read the mood of our guests to keep the party going!

Airwaves music came to my rescue when my previously booked DJ bailed out 4 weeks before our wedding. Airwavs got back to me immediately after hearing about my situation and delivered outstanding customer service. We were paired with DJ Les and I couldn't be happier with him! He was so easy to work with and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Not to mention the ceremony music was perfect. 10/10 recommended!

DJ Andy did a great job, super accommodating with last minute changes and requests and kept the dance floor hopping! Definitely recommend. Airwaves is also incredibly inclusive to all types of relationships and we could not have been happier.

Our DJ Brad helped to keep people dancing all night for our wedding!   We did have quite a few "must-play" songs that weren't played though, and towards the end of the night, the frequency of Smash Mouth songs increased significantly - at one point, two of their songs were played consecutively (and we didn't have any Smash Mouth in our must-plays). But overall, very good!   He hit all the important spots (grand entrance, cake cutting, etc.) where we needed him the most.
