Nice place very cozy with jazz music, sushi was excellent the rice was sticky. Server was friendly. Nice decor with super heroes on display.

It was more normal than out of the ordinary.
I was eating miso soup, but the smell of disinfectant (lacquer) smelled a lot from the bowl, so I felt like I was in a bad mood from the start.

I go back to Langley and this is the place I want to eat at. Totally worth the trip.
Staff is great. Rolls are the best. Don't fall apart. Sunomono is great.

Japanese food in Canada!

The first meal upon arrival in Vancouver was Japanese food.
Udon broth is awesome.

The staff and boss are very kind.

The California roll is also full of twisty rice grains and delicious filling.
And it's a restaurant in Tembura.

Hot sweet potato and shrimp in crispy tempura.

The sides are delicious, wanna try again. The sushi just normal. Tuna and Salmon are different.

We have been enjoying the food and amazing service since 2008. We don't live in the area anymore but every year when we go back to the lower mainland Akane is always on the top of our list!

Très petit restaurant. On y sert de la vrai cuisine japonaise.
J'ai enlevé une étoile parce que le plancher qui mène a la salle de bain était graisseux et glissant. Je trouve que le thème de la décoration est douteux mais bon. Je ne suis pas un fan de Marvel comics.

A hidden gem of a sushi restaurant in the Langley area. My favorite dish there is their avocado roll because the avocado is fresh and big. Also the customer service is excellent.

Akane is one of my all time go-to sushi locations. Super-friendly staff and sushi chef. Dine in or take-out, they'll greet you as if your a first time customer. Fresh sushi, and if you're lucky– they'll throw in 'on the house' rolls. Small, traditional restaurant with lots of history. Would highly recommend!

This place has to be the best Sushi joint in Langley. Everything here is made fresh and even the Miso soup is very good much more better than other Sushi places I been though around the lower mainland. I will most definitely come back here.

Akane sushi is a great little place to either eat in or take out.
Food is full of flavour, rolls are not huge like other sushi restaurants, friendly staff and at times they give their customers free samples which is a great way to experience items you may not have tried before.
Highly recommend to anyone.
