Akari Japanese Restaurant

This was our first time coming here. I was disappointed in myself for not finding this place earlier. It was amazing! The food, the service, everything was great. We will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone who will listen. ️️️️️️

We had to stop and eat at this place during mid day business dealings. I was actually able to call ahead and book out a table with an appetizer selection made in advance. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere full of joyful conversations. For a smaller restaurant in a nook, they sure make great use of the space to accommodate a greater number of guests. It was full of people during our visit for lunch. I noticed upon being seated that the lineup had gone out the door within the 5 minutes we from when we were seated. We had gyozas, chicken karrages, and soda drinks to begin. The lineup I spoke about out the door was taken care of in less than 10 minutes, which I have to say is excellent service considering how busy the servers and cooks were. We ordered a wide selection of meals, including Chicken Yaki Soba and sashimi. The food was served to us timely and displayed beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed the Yaki Soba, and their chicken wasn't greasy like other locations I've eaten at. The menu options were priced fairly, and service is superb at this establishment. I'd recommend it to friends all day long!

Food quality and service were below expectation.

We have lived in North Delta for over 20 years and have been going to Akari for almost as long. We have tried other Japanese restaurants in the area and always go back to Akari. Always consistent good food.

Akari is a guaranteed delicious meal. Sushi is always fresh. We loved our dinner box and Love Boat, and enjoyed sitting in one of the tatami rooms.
