I visited the Alkbar joojeh in North Vancouver, and it was truly delightful. Every dish was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Highly recommended!

Ordered kubide kebab at Akbar Juje restaurant and was disappointed. The kebab had an unpleasant smell, rice seemed not fresh, and the overall taste was too salty, especially with a strong onion flavor. Hoping for improved quality in the future.

Akbar Joojeh presented an eclectic experience that, unfortunately, mirrored its counterparts in terms of service, falling below average. The crowded setting with randomly placed tables and peculiar wall decorations, ranging from hookahs to rugs and even a sewing machine, contributed to a somewhat chaotic atmosphere.

Adding to the sensory overload was the presence of loud party music, which, while intending to create vibrancy, ended up causing discomfort and headaches for patrons trying to enjoy their meals. Now, onto the main event – the food. The AkbarJoojeh, while flavorful, erred on the side of being overly salty and oily. The Koobideh, although boasting richness, was marred by a noticeable level of fat and a hint of undercooking.

It worths it a lot and like the way staff hospitalize. Thank you Mr. Hossein for all concerning.

Friendly service and excellent food quality! The Koobideh is the best I ever had in North America! The staff were very accommodating of our one year old toddler and helped us have a great time!

We have tried several Persian restaurants in Vancouver and Akbar Joojeh was the best one for sure! The food was in excellent quality and taste, the staff and the owner were super friendly! We were visitors coming from Calgary and will recommend you to our Calgarian/Canadian friends in Alberta as well.

I’ve been there few times, great food, great customer service. They have the best chicken and Barg.

I wanted to taste their food to see what is all the hype about. The restaurant was too busy, noisy with a terrible disturbing music, the food wasn't that great for the price you pay. There are other Persian restaurant that make the same food that taste much better for less money. Although the presentation was nice and staffs are very nice and friendly.

A truly unique spot to savor the authentic flavors of Iranian cuisine. The exceptional food and service exceeded expectations on my first visit. Generous portions, unmatched quality, and delightful staff. The owner's presence, actively ensuring top-notch service, added a personal touch. While prices may be slightly higher than other Iranian restaurants, the exceptional food and service make it well worth it. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing! After reading the reviews, I had high expectations for this place, but to my disappointment, I was served stale, days old rice, dry chicken kebab, and, just God knows how old, soggy "crispy rice", known as tadig. I ordered a variety of items, and none of them was satisfactory. My lamb shoulder had more garlic than anything else. The "Mirza ghasemi" was under seasoned. They may serve better food other times, but my experience was extremely sad.
I have tried Iranian food from many places, and by far, this place was the worst, and I shall never return to this restaurant.
Don't be fooled by the photos, or go and experience by yourselves. The choice is yours; I am only writing review on my experience.

I've been to this restaurant twice. The quality of food and service is great. The meats are tender and really well prepared. I recommend Kabab Torsh and Baghali Polo with Sardast. I really like the consistency of quality of this restaurant.

The hostess was lovely and the food was excellent. I order the Akbar Joojeh chicken with salad and rice and the flavors and quality were impeccable. Portions were large and ingredients fresh. I think this is the new best restaurant on Lonsdale.

Omg this food is INCREDIBLE! I actually ordered the chicken plum stew on Uber Eats with rice and shirazi salad - it was mindfully packed separately ans the FLAVOR was so delicious it is one of best meals I ever had:) And I have travelled and ate in many fine restaurants. You MUST support this wonderful place (with most generous portions!) and enjoy their beautiful foods!

Best Persian food I have ever tried outside of Iran! Everything from appetizers to the entrees were extremely tasty. The ambience and service was pleasant as well.

If you are looking to try Persian dishes this is the place. Really nice quality and worth the price. The portion of the food is also more than similar restaurants.

It was very tasty and of course greasy
We had Mirza Ghasemi's food for dinner, which was good.
In general, the taste of the food is very good, but unfortunately, the service of the servers is not very commendable.

I went there yesterday for Christmas Dinner with my friends.
I had mast mousir and shishlik.
Everything was great specially their customer service. I hope they keep their way like this.
