Alfa Greco Roman Cuisine

Many of my friends had suggested this restaurant to me, so we arranged a plan with them to come to this restaurant. On the way to the restaurant, my son read the reviews of the restaurant to me, all of them praised this restaurant and its food, and a very small percentage was dissatisfied, which seems to be personal enmity, so I decided to experience some of them, here I will share with you the result of my experiences. First, we found out that this restaurant was transferred to a new owner three or four years ago, which in my research of the staff And speaking with another customers and friends who had experienced this restaurant many times before, they all believed that the service and especially the quality of the restaurant now is better than the previous ownership and the staff are more comfortable and friendly with the new owner, even though they believed These are internal business issues and the relationship between the employer and the employees has nothing to do with the customers, which is true in my opinion. The next question that arose in my mind was whether the new owner has made changes in the menu and dishes, which we found out is not the case and everything is the same as before, but with better quality and some new dishes have been added to the menu, and the last thing was the issue of cleanliness and hygiene which was easily visible and everything was great from my friends who created this good experience for me and from the management and staff of Alfa Thank you for all your efforts for excellent service and delicious food, and we will come back again and again

Super delicious and unbelievable, with excellent management and kind staff, the restaurant has a good atmosphere and was very clean.

Was craving greek and this place was close by. The service was great and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We got a few things:
Calamari - super fresh with tzaziki dip.
Greek Salad - nice portions, and a generous amount of quality olives for the olive lovers out there.
Roast lamb - slow cooked, the meat deliciously fells apart. Comes with greek salad, potato and rice.
Chicken Souvlaki - Chicken was a little dry, the rest of the dish was good.
Share platter - had a good variety of everything and would feed 4-5 people.
Cesar drink - really well made compared to alot of other places.
Favourite dish - roast lamb

Lisa is a great service and the food was to die for. This place has some incredible authentic Greek Food. Clean, nice cosy environment and friendly service. Will be back no questions asked!

Everything was good until the bill came. My cousin was paying and didn't leave a tip to the server (owner i was told) and was a big deal to him. Saying "so no tip-now I need to pay the kitchen from my pocket "
Hmmm.don't you have to pay them anyway as they are working for you!

I had a 90th birthday for our mom and had Alfa Greco cater the event for 35 people. I had never eaten at the restaurant myself, but went on the recommendation of others. Well, they certainly didn't disappoint, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! Many thanks!

This place transported us back to Greece! We only ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, but it was still really good! The skewer ends were a bit dry but the rest was juicy chicken! I ordered a 6 oz glass of Tsantali Retsina. I would only recommend this wine if you’re feeling adventurous and have a palate for a dry, fresh pine and a saline finish. If you can get past the piney notes you get on the nose citrus, pear and apple notes.

Definitely one of the best Greek restaurants in the lower mainland we’ve tried so far!

Price: It’s priced the same as most other restaurants of this caliber. But you get what you pay for! Great Food!

Portion/palate: Portion is decent for the price you pay and the taste is so good! Minus the dry ends on the skewers. The wine was a delight because it is nothing you have ever tried! (I bet)

Place: Location is nice because it is on main street and parking is decent if you come when they open. We dined on the patio so I didn’t see much of the inside. A bit of a drive to get to, but if you’re in the area for the beach or an event definitely come here!

People: People were great! Good service!

Love everything about this restaurant. Super friendly, super helpful and the food is amazing especially the pizza. I live in Richmond and always order on my way home from the island and they always have my food ready when I arrive. Consistent quality and service. Highly recommend:)

So here i was looking for a nice place for a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs when this cozy place shows up.they were closing at 10 but they were kind enough to take my order.wasn't supposed to be baked with cheese, so kind of a bonus for me.great prices and nice portions as well! Highly reccomend!

I used to come to this restaurant in my early 20's and now has a chance to come again.

Food still amazing.calamari and Baked Lasagna is a treat!

Little understaffed, but food still amazing

This has been my families go to Pizza place for my whole life.
I love everything, the crust, the sauce, the cheese and the toppings.
Every time the food has been hot and fresh!

I ordered a large Pizza to have some lunch tomorrow, and now I need to figure out what I'm going to have for lunch tomorrow lol

My boyfriend and I use to order takeout here quite often. We ordered dinner once again and I was so excited for my taramasalata dip but it was completely moldy. When my boyfriend called, the manager said he’ll give us a credit for the next time and there’s a note left on our “file/account”. I even texted him the photo, per his request. About a week or so later we ordered take out again and the guy at the front helping denied this to us and said maybe next time. Are you serious? There will definitely NOT be a next time. Do not visit. The quality of food has been in a continuous decline the past year or so.

Generally good but the plates are too small for the portions. My lamb was a bit tough but my fault for thinking it might be Vancouver Island lamb. Chicken souvlaki would have been a better choice. Good service without being overbearing.

Me and my family loved this resturant. The pizza was delicous, and my daughter really enjoyed the lasagna. There was a lot of variety on the menu therefore you will find something enjoyable for every memeber of your group. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was great thanks to Mr. Hodjat and the rest of the team. You should definetly have a meal here!

Gone completely down hill since new ownership. Was a regular before so very disappointed. Also become very expensive

Good food, our waitress was new and she was the only one on the floor. The restaurant setting was nice.

Nice restaurant with good Greek style food with an American/Canadian slant. Entree meals are huge - most seem to come with a mound of rice, plus a potato, tzatziki, bread and a huge Greek salad. Lamb was cooked really well though plain. Cheese that was used for the Greek salad was quite strong, seemed to be something other than feta. Can also order pizzas which are also huge. Definitely recommend sharing a single dish given the size!
