Amazing selection of local and other Canadian brews. The staff was super nice and helped us with selecting some interesting beers:) Very good atmosphere there too!

Beer and ciders were great! Service too.the veggies burger was fantastic and Asian noodle dish was tasty. There was a bit of a cold, weird vibe from the hostess but otherwise we had a good time and enjoyed the drinks especially.

Nice place a short walk past Gastown. Has a large beer selection on the menu to try out. Tried a beer anda veggie burger and really enjoyed it. Will be going back again to try more items out.

Best beer selection in Vancouver. Excellent food, although limited menu. Range of cocktails and non alcoholic options. Worth a repeat visit if you enjoy quality craft beer selection.

Love this place. Chill vibe, comfortable seating, and fabulous beers. Loved the ferry cider. The burger and fries — comfort food on a plate. Nice place to get a few drinks.

Great beer selection, yummy food, great service, and cool ambiance.

Started with the sautéed peppers (from their "fresh sheet" menu) which were great. A combination of small bitter peppers with a slight smokey kick, sautéed with olive oil, lemon and salt. A great nibble to pair with drinks.

Mains included the veggie burger with the works - cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Our server referred to this as "the hypocrite" haha, but the smokiness from the bacon really paired well with the beets and other earthy flavours in the veggie burger. This is a veggie burger that is not trying to be anything but a veggie burger, and it is delicious. Highly recommend. They also do a split fries/salad side - both were solid.

The other main was the noodle dish also from the "fresh sheet". We ordered it with the pork belly on top. To be honest this tasted a bit confusing - the noodles and main part of the dish were very pad thai-ish, and the pork belly was reminiscent of bbq pork with a sticky-sweet sauce. Would recommend skipping the pork belly add-on, the tofu in the noodle dish was nicer texturally and the pork sauce threw off the balance in the dish.

I used to come to the Alibi Room all the time. It was my go-to spot for at least ten years. Tonight was my first time back after the pandemic and also my birthday. I had 6-9 people joining, some people were leaving right away, some people were joining later. I was unable to make a reservation, so I showed up early to put my name down for one of the long tables. I was met with hostility right from the start. The hostess repeated that they do not split up groups, which wasn't what I wanted at all. We waited a bit and were told our name was on the list for one of the larger tables inside. We eventually sat at one of the patio tables outside, and had a great time. It was a little hard for us to get our orders in. Our server would take a few people's orders, then leave, and we'd have to wait for her to come back to finish our table's orders. It was like we were dismissed by the server. When we had our ninth friend come join us, the server told us we had to leave, with the hostess behind her almost yelling at us that we were told 'eight was the limit'. One person from our party had to chime in and say 'no you told us eight was the limit' in order to de-escalate the situation. As the party host, no one had mentioned that to me. We were told we could squeeze into a picnic table. All the while, they never made any effort to try to seat us at a large table inside (although we were told it was an hour wait we were there for over two hours.) We could not believe the hostility. Most of us have worked in the service industry, and normally we try to find a solution for the people we are taking care of. They never once tried to work with us, yet also never told us they couldn't serve us as a table of nine? It was a weird experience. We ended up going to Urban Winery down the street, who were able to take a last minute reservation, were able to accommodate nine, had a table set up for us when we arrived, and we had a great time. I will probably not be back to Alibi Room.

The food and service was great but the prices seem a bit high for what it is. Don't get me wrong I would go again but you can get a pretty nice meal at a nice restaurant for what it might cost here.

Great vibe, a little pricey but I'd say worthwhile. Next to the trains and ocean. Service a tad slow, but they were busy for a reason.

Amazing selection of beer and friendly staff. Tables are well spaced out and outdoor patio is a nice feature. It was very hot inside the restaurant as there was no AC running (maybe it was on but not enough to keep the place cool).

I love the new patio seating, with a good balance of sun and shade options. Really glad they made it through the pandemic! Happy to be able to come back to this place, with its excellent beer menu and solid food options, while still feeling comfortable, not crowded and safe. Great, friendly service.

One of my fav local spots! Amazing beer selection of all kinds, highly recommend. The food is also great (chicken wings!), but not ideal for anyone gluten free or vegan.

The food here is amazing and our waitress recommended some great drinks for us. I just love the atmosphere of this place. Unfortunately the hostesses was not very friendly but otherwise we had a great time.

As for someone who is not an avid Beer Drinker this place was very nice. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious and the "Berry Sour" was perfect.

Great rotation of local craft beers! Dress up or dress down. First date or 100th date establishment that makes you feel right at home.

Great beer selection, good prices, very friendly service. Not as much choice with food but what we got was very tasty. Will be back for dessert! Pretty chill atmosphere.

Alibi Room is a charming, warm, and delicious bar and restaurant that will leave you thinking about the next time you will be back.

The signature of the Alibi Room is their hand picked selection of beers, with a more modest selection of ciders. Their beers on tap are changed fairly regularly and is a great destination for those people that have a more adventurous spirit.

If you are looking to also have a great meal at a reasonable price, the Alibi has got you covered. Like their beers, the Alibi Room also changes their "Fresh Sheet" on a regular basis. The macaroni with broccoli, green onions, parmesan, and bread crumbs is a rich compliment to a cold beer, or stiff cocktail.

The general vibe of the Alibi Room is a friendly speakeasy with casual and polite staff.

I can't wait to go back and try something new!

This place was awesome. Tons of beer choices on tap with a well organized menu and different sizes available so you can get flights and try lots. We didn't eat but the food menu also looked good. Nice and warm inside and good atmosphere.

Been here lots of times and it was a great place to my office to go before covid. Ordered the burger the other day and it was really good. Also delish fries. Great beer selection here as well.
