The WOST experience I've EVER had. The owner was VERY rough handling my dog and ended up cutting her so badly that I had to get her stitches at the nearby vet hospital. When I returned to collect my things from running out to the hospital, we started yelling at me that I had to pay for the full grooming and trimming session or else she would keep my belongings - THIS after I had just paid almost $400 for stitches as a result or her being careless! Then, when I was paying for the groom, she offered me a $20 discount if I promised not to write a review and to "let us put this behind us. " Really?

UPDATE:
The owner has threatened me again for posting my review. She just closed her storefront business in Brentwood Bay, and has just changed to a "mobile" grooming business in an attempt to re-brand.this is yet ANOTHER move she's made, like so many others, to avoid the consequences of not only being a bad business owner, but a dishonest one too. I will NOT remove my review, and in fact, I will post my terrible and ugly experience on other sites so that other decent customers can be warned about this terrible "business".

Laurie is great! Very accommodating! Great service and really nice little shop. Very reasonable grooming rates.

Excellent service, my little teacup chihuahua was very comfortable and had her nails trimmed very quickly:) very friendly and fun store too!

I have taken my Aussiedoodle pup, Fynley, to Laurie for grooming twice now and she is excellent! Laurie really takes her time, allowing Fynley short rests to ensure all have a positive grooming experience. Laurie is super friendly and very kind and gentle with Fynley. I highly recommend her!

I just have to say how amazing she is! She fit me in as a new client with a large dog, and spent the extra time on giving a very thorough grooming and still made time for a wash even though we went over time. I can’t say enough good things about her!
