Amazing clinic. Always responsive and available for our dog when needed. Couldn’t be happier!

This is the best vet clinic by far. However with the new staff it’s has changed. I will only see the original vets going forward. I’ve been guilted into tests and extra meds that were unnecessary! (Perhaps my fault for not trusting my guys, but they’re good salespeople) What set this place a part was the honesty and trustworthiness, unfortunately with the new vets I don’t feel that! I Feel taken advantage of. I do support Alpenlofts but going forward I will only see the 2 original docs. A few years ago it would’ve been a resounding 5 star but after today and me prior visit I’m
giving it my honest rating which pains me. Alpenlofts you used to be so good to me….

All the staff are friendly and my cat likes it there she doesn't shy away from the Dr.

My wife and I were staying in Whistler when our puppy had a severe swelling reaction in her eyes. As the emergency vet in Whistler wasn’t answering the phone, we were faced with driving all the way to North Vancouver. Fortunately this vet saw us at the very end of the day right before closing. Everyone there was kind and compassionate. Our puppy is doing much better already and we are relieved and very grateful.

Kind, professional, available, amazing hours of operation. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have the team at Alpenlofts always there for my dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I drive from Whistler as the availability of appointments and services are so much faster than here in Whistler.

The staff and vets here are so caring and compassionate. They’re always there to answer questions and concerns and I get a feeling they all genuinely care about the pets. It helps they are also so polite and respectful to us as the main caregivers whenever we bring in our dog for checkups or anything else.

My Bella was very sick and the Vet Dr recommended iv fluids and do some tests so I left her at the Clinic and when I picked up she was so much more energized and feeling better.
She also smelled great like a perfum which pobably means one of the assistants there was near by her side while she was receiving the Iv fluids. Thank you alphenlofts you really care for my girl and now she feeling so much better

Alpenlofts has been absolutely amazing for our puppy.they are Honest and get right to the point. No need for "follow up" appointments unless they are very necessary unlike other places in town. Dr. Grewal has a heart of gold, sharp mind and is so kind. Really thankful we live close and we know that our puppy is well looked after when he goes in for a visit:)

I was away on vacation when it became apparent my elderly cat of 19 years needed to be euthanized My cat was not a patient of Alpenlofts as we live in Pemberton where vet care is great but often hard to get an appointment as it is a small practice. I called late friday afternoon and was given an appointment the very next morning and had our friend bring her in. I cannot thank Alpenlofts enough for their help and kindness, to make an already difficult decision less stressful. Thank you!

We brought in Nicky our 3 month Tibetan Mastiff. She was very ill from an infection. Other vets in Squamish told us to put her down, but we wanted to take our luck and a friend recommended Dr. Grewal. He was great, his medication and dedication worked wonders. He gave her meds and liquids through IV and got her back to recovery.

I am truly grateful to the entire team at Alpenlofts Veterinary Hospital for the upmost level of care and compassion provided to Aldo, my pet dog. Aldo had eaten some chocolate and was rushed to the Alpenlofts Veterinary Hospital. I am very grateful to the team for handling this emergency case promptly. I was very satisfied with the overall services, treatment, care and prices at Alpenlofts Vet. Hospital and highly recommend it to other pet owners.

I’ve been a client at Alpenlofts as well as Eagle view. I have to say, alpenlofts is amazing. I feel more like a human when dealing with their staff. They genuinely care for the well being of my animals, and are very professional.

I’ll also say that alpenlofts remains open to everyone, they allow you to stay with your pet. Eagle view now discriminates against anyone not vaccinated. I’m sick of divide and people promoting division, alpenlofts has my business, and I’d highly recommend to others!

Dr. Grewal and Dr. Sharma are absolutely incredible. In addition to keeping up with their regular checkups and maintenance visits, they saw our cat for emergency visits when needed for urinary blockage, including late on a weekend. I could not be happier with the kind, compassionate service we receive here. Always very happy to answer all our questions and address all of our concerns, we feel like we are in excellent hands with the staff here. 6/5 stars! This is hands down the best place to take your loved pets. During our visit to Squamish we wanted to ensure our dog was checked up and alright as soon as he got there from a 15 hour drive.
He was very well taken care of. The doctor is very knowledgeable and has a great amount of patience to answer all your concerns. The clinic was very well maintained. Certainly would recommend them as a primary vet to those in Squamish.

We love Alpenlofts! The most attentive and caring vets in all of Squamish work here. Everyone is incredibly kind and you can tell how much they care about their furry patients. The facility is nice and clean, in a convenient location with easy parking and the process is always very smooth.

Aldo has been going here for two years and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. They explain everything clearly and to top it off, they reach out after appointments to check in on your pet. Another thing that I'd also like to mention is that they are the best priced veterinarian clinic in the region. Highly recommended!

I have been taking my 3 beloved friends to Dr Grewal and Dr Arun, a lot latelty. They have bothe been wonderful. I had an ageing poodle that passed away recently, that unfortunately was high maintenece. Thank you vets and and staff your kind words and the sympathy card.

Vet has excellent bedside manner. Never makes you feel rushed. He has been helping my friend Sage with his allergies. We are glad we found him as Sage is so much happier since!

Whoff! Whoff! To all my four legged friends, you'll love Dr Grewal, he's very gentle and finds out what's making you sick and makes it better. Thank you Dr. Grewal, MEG. H. My dog had a cough that wont get better I took her in and Dr Grewal did an Xray and a blood test. He said that cough is due to Meg's failing heart but there is a lump in Meg's tummy that looks to be a cancer. We had that removed and it came out to be cancer of the spleen. Meg would have died but for Dr Grewal's efforts. I have been recommending him ever since I stated seeing him couple of years back. Now I have one more reason to to give this clinic and vet a big thumbs up!

If you love your animal please do yourself a favor and DO NOT enter this clinic!

I am writing this review only to help you. Doctor can be incredibly deceiving, tries to win your trust and takes advantage of that fact and of the pet and pets well being.
Don't believe their smiles their own employees won't even take their pets there.
In the end you will not be saving money and may be left with heartache.

They have provided us with good care of our cats and very informative to help us make a decision and supportive of it when we had to put down our elderly patriarch. Never a fun experience, but assisted us with class and support.

We were visiting Squamish from out of town and had to find a vet for our old dog who was in distress and having severe arthritic pain issues. Dr. Grewal got us right in and spent time with us and our dog in a very kind and gentle manner as if he had all the time in the world. He covered options, made suggestions, and offered solutions. He was realistic and gave very useable information. We really wish he was our vet and highly recommend him.

Alpenlofts is not our regular vet, and based on feedback from them we were significantly overcharged: multiple unnecessary x-rays; overkill on the antibiotics; and unnecessary injections. The doctor seemed knowledgeable, but not the greatest bedside manner. He also prescribed antibiotics that are targeted to a problem that our dog didn’t even have! I would not recommend them, but if there is no other option (like it was for us) then make sure they ask your permission for anything that will cost money or risk getting taken to the cleaners.

Thanks to all the wonderful staff and vets for taking such great care of my family at such a tragic time having to put our dog down. Everyone was so kind and caring! I absolutely reccomend this amazing vet hospital

FANTASTIC! We came to Squamish to climb and our dog ended up needing surgery while we were there. The staff and doctor were absolutely amazing to say the least. They treated us and our dog with extreme kindness, they were extremely knowledgeable, kept us updated the entire time and diagnosed/treated our dog accurately and quickly. We felt so at ease knowing our baby was in the best hands! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely love Dr. Grewal and staff. Have been taking my dogs Sirius and Cooper here for a number of years. They have been through a lot. Sirius has had TPLO surgeries for his ACL rupture on both his knees. Have been recommending them to whoever I know in Squamish.

DON'T GO HERE! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Lets start by saying this was our first time here. Reception was great, probably the only good thing about this place. When the male vet greeted my partner and I, he didn't even make eye contact with me, and only addressed my male partner. He never at any point made us feel like we could trust him nor was he welcoming. Not to mention the towel on the counter for your pet looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. This place was dirty and questionable. Moving on, THIS VET TRAUMATIZED our cat. When trying to explain our concerns the vet cut us BOTH off mid sentence and didn't actually answer our questions regarding the top of our cats tail. HE MISS DIAGNOSED OUR CAT! While trying to stick a finger up our cats butt he threatengly told us if we can't control our cat they would have to bring him to the back. At this point I should have listened to my gut and just left. Out of desperation and concern they took him out of sight and i have never heard ANY animal be in that much sickeningly pain. ANIMAL CRUELTY at its finest. If an animal is in that much pain STOP. After having my heart broken from his tear jerking sounds, he had the audacity to tell us "since your cat is so aggressive we will have to sedate him next time as this will be a problem for the rest of his life. " Anal glad issues as we found out from ANOTHER VET, who actually listened to us and looked at his tail and did TESTING found he had a yeast infection on his skin, said that an anal gland issue is rarely a life time issue. To the vet who almost killed our cat, I know you are reading this.please find another profession because you never asked us ANYTHING about his behaviour in relation to his "anal glad issues" as he had ZERO symptoms of what you said he had. In fact you didn't ask us anything at all. I look forward to coming in and speaking to you in person.

Our first visit to Alpenlofts was a great experience. It is clean well run operation with a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Grewal was on time and was very gentle with our cat. We became very calm after a short time as he clearly knows and explained his business. There was no hard sell. The assistant Tamara was very friendly and also clearly knows her work. Looking forward to returning in February.

Strongly believe they killed my cat. They said they were running some blood tests and eould call us if he had to go to vancouver emerge.call the next day to get an update to be told our cat died.
