Alpine Inn Valemount

Quiet, super clean, close to fast food joint and a pub restaurant. My room # 181 was huge. Ample parking. Great internet service with free wifi.
This is an older place so not all shiney sparkley but it is clean and comfy.

Comfy beds, can hear the traffic on hiway though. Can't really be helped with location I guess. Appears to be newly renovated, hard hoow flooring, new countertop in bathroom. Shower was amazing, has newer showerhead with adjustable settings.
Wifi was decent, sometimes it'll connect with no service though. No laundry services from what I gathered. Have to in town. Decent little hotel, view from my room was of the mountain across highway.

We had no choice at Christmas to stay here, road was closed. But will not recommend to anyone! We had snow blowing through the door, heat was not working well, and very dirty and not clean at all. Would have been better off on our car. Was discussing! Shouldn’t even be open.

Room was not clean bathroom had a used bar of soap in it bed sheets were all stained at least I hope they were just stain lady at front desk was very rude was not even close to being who the 170 a night better off sleeping in a tent

Amazing service Super sweet staff. We needed a place to stay for the night and they welcomed us right away for an amazing price. Kid friendly and gave us a first floor room with parking at our door. Walking distance to any store in Valemount.the room was super nice and very clean! Highly recommend I wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean, spacious, friendly and inviting. You get what you get for the price! Guy at the front desk was amazing.

Basic rooms for a night's sleep on the cheap.
Nothing special but nothing wrong either. For the good low prices you get a clean room and a warm bed.
Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker too.
There's a convenience store and pizza shop right across the parking lot.

Stayed one night in their suite room and wished we could stay longer! Highly recommend booking their suite if you have a group - the suite was huge! We paid the same price for a three bed, two-story suite at the Alpine Inn as we did staying in a standard hotel room in Jasper. The suite has a functional kitchen which was helpful for making breakfast in the morning, and a HUGE big screen TV. Great location, friendly service, we were very happy with our experience!

Clean rooms but they door knocked and then just walked into our room at 8 am and woke up my son after we didnt get in until midnight. You need to train your cleaning staff to clean empty rooms at 8 am not occupied ones. Truly simple.

Good service, clean rooms … no extras though! Bed, bath, fridge, and the worst Color in a Color TV I’ve ever seen!
But hey! Just glad to have a place to lay our heads. Apparently this place had been open since the sixties … Oh if these walls could talk!

Best motel in my opinion. Booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4. The rooms were very good and the owner was very friendly and great to deal with. For a family run business I would recommend 10 out of 10 times

Pros: Convenient motel for someone stop by/ visiting valemout. Famale staff/owner is nice. Room is big for two people.
Cons: Room is so dark. Hair dryer is broken. Window can't be locked, feel unsafe. Right next to the gas station and main road, not quiet. Male staff/owner is rude.

Room not clean at all, dust everywhere spider web everywhere we thought we are in halloween.
Fridge smells horrible.
Scary room with noisy neighbours.
It will be the last time to stay in this place. We don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Price and quality unfair

So far so good, the staff are nice and friendly, the beds are nice and comfortable, as well reasonable price, few restaurants around the neighbourhood…

The gentleman that owe the place is really nice and always smiles! He is funny and well educated. The rooms were not too expensive, it is mostly about the average of the rooms we rented during our trip. The rooms were also super clean, it surprised me a bit after inspecting everything but it felt nice sleeping knowing that the place is clean. The location of the motel is good, it is right next to a restaurants, gas stations, liquor stores and a park. I recommend for everyone around that area.

My fiance and I were just about to go to bed for the night we have been backpacking across Canada we were so exhausted and paid $120 but when I asked what the security deposit would be they said no security deposit which I thought was weird. It made sense to find horrible rooms I had to clean the bathroom before using it. Not only that but my fiance looked at me starting freaking out when I looked over there was a bug crawling on him looked like a bed bug. Do not go here if your looking for a decent clean room.

Not bad. Needs some TLC after the pandemic down turn. Prices are up taking advantage of pipeline business. I guess everyone needs a bit of the pie

Awesome people they took me in no problem after my car broke down some white woman was complaining when I came in about the cleanliness but I got to my room absolutely nothing wrong with it.it's older but renovated n clean.

Nice place to stay for the night while passing through. Very much a worker or transiting through type of hotel.

Very clean and quiet motelenjoyed my stay be it only be one night.
Suggestion for them is they could leave more coffee in the rooms than 1 pouch and leave some Kleenex there as well traveler do not usually carry that with them.
Otherwise good place to stay if you have pets.

The staff was very friendly. The owner upgraded us to a bigger room for free when he saw that we were 2 couples trying to make things work on a budget. Very welcoming and rooms were clean! Had a great stay and was a good location. Would recommend!

Great way point for a long trip rooms are good enough, and most common travel amenities are across the street. Reasonable prices.

Have stayed here a couple times now; very nice people to deal with.
Very clean room; recent stay was in renovated room and it was quite nice. Owners are wonderful people; the lady did huge favour for us when she hunted down my son's most precious stuffed animal:) Will always stay here when coming through Valemount.

The motel has cockroaches and insects on the beds, terrible service, the owner is very rude and very aggressive with the woman. I had to call the police to fix the problem. My family and I will never ever come back to that place. I would never ever recommend this place with kids!

We stayed at the Alpine Inn on June 6/20. The owner was gracious, and he offered us a new room as a bonus - just because he could. The room was great value - fresh, clean, and entirely suitable for our stay. When we had a problem arise from a spurious booking through Expedia, he worked with us to solve the problem to our entire satisfaction.

We appreciate the value and the service we received from our experience with the ownership and presentation of the Alpine Inn.

Decently priced and the rooms were mostly cleaned good. Slept there with my two kids and I, we all had a good sleep. Wifi kind of sucked but thats okay. Good customer service

I would give it a zero if possible.
Dealing with the owner of this establishment was terrible. I was attempting to cancel a booking due to a family death, and this man was extremely rude and disrespectful. I went through the proper channels at Expedia and they were very supportive. The agent from Expedia tried her best to deal with this horrible human and the agent ended up in tears due to him being derogatory and just plain rude. I then called the hotel to discuss the owners disrespectful behaviour and he was the rudest human I have ever dealt with, caring about nothing but himself.

Needless to say. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Good hotel, close to all local shops and eateries. Sauna/hot tub area was VERY musty to the point where I could not breathe in there, i suggest manangement reviews the cleanliness and air quality of the sauna area.
Other than that, good room size, clean.

I was very disappointed for the cost of over $200.00 the place was not clean. The people above us stomped around there room for clise to 4 hours naking sleep impossible. I will never stay there again or recommend it to others. Very very unhappy

Great inn! The pricing is nice, many of their rooms are pet-friendly, and their hot tub is relaxing.

Lovely person at front desk. I was given one of the updated units near the hot tub. The room itself was adequate. The first challenge I had was with the bed. I admit to being a bit of a clean freak. When I pulled back the covers to check the sheets, there was an outline of a large footprint. I checked the other bed and used it. The second challenge was the internet. They do have zones set up, mine wasn't functioning. Located nearby are a number of fast food places, a liquor store at the pub which is not accessible for people with mobility issues, and 3 has stations. I mentions these only to let travelers know about 2 blocks west on the highway, the stations charge 10 cents less a litre.

Location was great, very clean and good service from the owner. Had all the amenities required (coffee maker, fridge) and even had a sauna and hot tub. Those were also well cleaned and maintained. The view from the room was amazing as you could see the mountains. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to stay near Jasper and get good value for money.

Clean however that's about all I can say that was nice.the bed was awful, old and dented in, no sound insulation what so ever could hear everything feo.other rooms to outside. Website was very deceiving.

Rooms were recently renovated and super clean. Beds were comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great price. No pool tho. Tv worked. Bathroom was very clean. We’ve stayed in the past and will be back.

There is no heated pool, unless you consider a dirty hot tub a pool, way over priced for the value you get, there is no pub attached to the motel, it is across the street. Traveler beware! Ice machine broken, pop machine doesn’t work. Would rather sleep in car. Don’t forget your cleaning supplies

It was what we needed for our trip in mountains. Clean room, friendly service. There was a mix up with our booking that we had made months ago so we were upgraded to a bigger room with a kitchen for no extra cost. We had nice views of the mountains from our room.

Murs très minces et tu entends tout ce qu’il y a de l’autre côté. La chambre est vite devenue très humide et nous ne pouvions plus voir à travers la fenêtre. Salle de bain mal fait. La toilette est en face de la porte et il faut reculer au fond pour pouvoir fermer la porte.

I have never felt compelled to leave a review for a hotel before in my life but whoever I dealt with on the phone while cancelling my reservation was so shockingly rude and unprofessional, I will NEVER consider this establishment again and will be sure to pass on my thoughts to anyone looking for a place to stay in Valemount. I will absolutely be contacting the powers that be to make sure they realize how horrifying their customer service is.

Friendly service for check in, Room looked ok, but cheap renos over old room, like bathroom ceiling, T-bar over yellow stained ceiling, left one tile out for bathroom fan, that didn't work. Garbage cans were not empty, coffee pot still had old coffee, no water pressure in shower, and cleaning people trying to come in at 8 am, no knock, just heard the keys in the lock, and check out was 11. Way to over priced for what the room was.

Not the most awesome place to stay. Not all the room lighting was functional when we arrived. But they did have a large family size room to accommodate us.
