Ambleside Park West Vancouver

Extremely disturbing to see view blocking condos are more favorable than beach cottages, art centres/museum/public space, picnic tables, grass for playing or laying on etc. Even Jimmy Pattison sold out! Recommend to stop filling the pockets of the elite or i rub your back u rub mine mentality! Character of the area ruined!

Excellent off leash dog park stretched along sand and open sea. Good space for open runs and ball tossing. Bird watchers will love the assortment of waterfowl and birds that live in the trees and brambles. I recommend owners keep their eyes on smaller puppers - due to the hungry eagles who hunt prey here.

It's a beautiful park and has a long walking area as well.

Ambleside Park in West Vancouver is great for family walks. Beautiful views and peaceful paths make it perfect for strolling. Highly recommended!

It's good, it's a bit disorganized, the municipality is a bit careless. In Safa, the work of this place is not bad

Great Sandy beach with an amazing playground and concession with veggie and vegan options so there is something for everyone. You can eat at the tables or take to go and eat on the beach. Not loads of parking but drove around for less than 5 mins and was able to find a spot.

A large selection of very tasty food, especially for those who love sweet pastries. They probably sell the most delicious rye bread in Vancouver.

A good place to walk the dog, but unfortunately there is less shade, it's hot these days

Something for everyone. Not a Mexican beach at all and you may go home itching, but nice. Beautiful

Amazing place, nice view of west Vancouver from the coast, Totem pole was under construction but maintenance is necessary.beach is clean and nice too.

Beautiful park with views of Stanley Park and English Bay, and the Boat Shed offers a great breakfast. For us swimmers I wish the change rooms had showers, but there are showers outside.

Decided on this park today. Took the 250 Horseshoe Bay bus and get off at 14th street walk straight down.

Good sand Beach is not that huge but good enough for a few hrs to chill and relax. Seems to be popular with the locals. Was busy today as so hot

Other side of the beach has lots of seating and the beach is very rocky but more room to sit at. There are some spots that are shaded as well.

The views make up for the beach.across from Ambleside Park is Earls Restaurant on Ambelside. Was really busy around 6pm.

Was a good day overall.
