I have only good things to say about here, it's delicious, it feels very homely, it doesn't ask for anything from any Dennys or ihop, from now on it's my favorite breakfast place! We love it here and I will recommend it to everyone

Family meet there every Tues.morning for about 3 years now and "it's the best! " Consistantly great breakfast.

Well a small local place. Decided to take the risk and try their food. Nothing is over 15 bucks on the menu. I ordered the Pancakes with mushrooms and bacon and Hollande sauce for 11.99. My Mom had the house special omelete with a side of 3 bacon for 13.29. Both taste excellent. My dad and brother had the combo burger and tasted great for 13.99.

We had coffee and juice. I ordered a side of 4 sausages. Thinking the 3 Pancakes are not enough. They were more than enough. The sausages arrived a bit burnt from the outside. So we had them replaced.

We fed 4 people for 18.75 bucks a person including a 10% tip.

Will be back for sure.

I like stick to their breakfast dishes.

Had the 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast with Bacon.

Eggs were sunny side up & yolk was runny so I can soak up the yolk with the sourdough bread. Just the way I like it.

Bacon was on the thicker side, which was good. & long pieces too.

They let you choose from 4 different kinds of toasted bread

Small Restaurant. Simple Decor. Like you're in a small town.

Simple Breakfast dishes for a decent price. Can't go wrong with that.

We stumbled on this breakfast place while we were visiting Vancouver and let me tell you. ITS WORTH EVERY BITE! This place is small but mighty in so many ways. The food is amazing, it’s hot, it’s crispy, perfectly cooked and comes with amazing hosts. They are very friendly and make sure they get your order right the first time! We as a group have decided that this is the only breakfast place we will be going to anytime we’re in the city! Definitely recommend!

Very happy with our breakfast today. Traditional 2 egg breakfast with hash browns sausage and sourdough toast. Nice chunky hash browns, good sized sausages and sourdough toast was a nice option to have. Large glass of juice.
Prices very reasonable! Service quick on a busy Saturday at noon.
We will be back.

Great breakfast! We arrived around noon and were served only around 1 pm, but it was well worth the wait. Had the Very Berry pancakes, fruit and cream waffles, French toast and Mexican omelette between the four of us and wiped our plates clean. Recommend all four. OJ, coffee and tea were standard commercial kinds though.

Lovely little place! It was fairly busy, so a bit of a wait to get in, but once we were in the servers were attentive the time to get our food was pretty reasonable. The prices for what you get are fantastic. Way better value than Denny's or the like.

I'll definitely come here again in the future.

Ordered the 3 pancake & 2 eggs
It came w a choice of sausages, ham or bacon
But ordered extra sides
As I intended to split the order for 2 servings
This was perfect
The pancakes were fluffy and tasted original (their own recipe), service was fast and they kept my coffee mug full
Their sausages are very good - lean but juicy and with the perfect toasted flavour

This place is great for the price that you pay. Never did i imagine that you can find a less than $10 breakfast and with this amount of food. Swiss Sandwich with fries was great. The pancakes and eggs and sausage was good however next time we probably won’t get the sausage as the bacon on someone else’s table look better. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The hamburger steak and eggs - hmmm. I will skip next time and not great for 14.95. The pancakes and eggs and sausage was better got less than $9. I did change a hamburger for two sausages with my wife so the pictures won’t look right. But you can see the amount of food there is for such little price. It’s definitely a 4 star and I think next time I will find something that I will like to bring it back to 5 star. Not today though but close. For some reason they are not doing soup with the sandwiches so just beware. I certainly be back as there’s plenty to choose from.

Great diner/greasy spoon style restaurant. Very reasonable prices while others in the same category have raised prices so much that you might as well be going to a place like De Dutch.

This is such an amazing breakfast spot. I always order to go. Big portions, such delicious food, great price, fresh ingredients, yummy recipes!

Fast, kind, tasty!
I went here with my husband and son on a whim and it was excellent. Service was quick and so kind. I ordered the club sandwich with fries and both were amazing. Fries were hot and crispy! We can't wait to go back!

Horrible customer service

My family has been coming to Amigo for years; we have thoroughly enjoyed their good food and friendly service in the past. However, my husband and I had the most unpleasant experience from today’s server.
When we entered the restaurant, the server yelled out “sit anywhere” and walked off. After we were seated, she came back and threw the menu and cutlery on our table and walked off.
We had to call her over 3 times to finally place our order and continued to observe the server being unpleasant, short and rude to all of the patrons.
When our food was ready, she came over to drop the plates on our table and walked off again without saying a word.
I wasn’t expecting much and usually am not bothered too much by less than stellar service but this server’s attitude was unacceptable. I have never experienced such blatant rudeness.

When we were ready to leave and pay, my husband tried to make friendly conversation to the server despite her horrible attitude… unfortunately she continued with her rudeness and barked at my husband to “just tap your card” on the pin pad. When my husband asked why she was so upset, she said “look at how many people I have to deal with…you should fix your personality before talking to me”.
Her attitude and response were totally unprovoked and uncalled for and needless to say we left with a very bad taste in our mouths.
The food was tasty as usual but the horrible server left us with such a horrible experience that we will not be returning here for a while. The owner should really reconsider keeping her on the roster as she is chasing away customers.

Food was amazing and very very reasonably priced however there was a waitress who is very rude and seemed like she hated her job there. She gave us glares throughout our meal and rolled her eyes at us while she was taking our order.

I have never seen servers at a restaurant be so rude. No conversation at all just “coffee or water” when she came to take our order it was just one word “ready”. Terrible customer service and very dirty restaurant, coffee and water cups had specs of dirt all over them

Pancakes where mushy and not really cooked well. Taste is just fine, box pancake sometimes better!
Waffle and chicken was better but chicken was frozen probably from Walmart! Not great over all butcheap food! Fills you up but not quality!
Service also is not great! Asked for syrup three times!

T'was tasty, service was great. Super affordable prices ^. ^ French toast was really tasty. Fruit was oviously frozen fruit though.

Great greasy spoon style breakfast in downtown Poco. Prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. All the staff are nice and the coffees hot.

We usually get their traditional breakfast and a side of blueberry pancakes.

Will definitely return

I read some other reviews and had to laugh. Every single time I’m in Amigo, some customer is being rude and pushy to the staff, but expect the staff to be nice about it! The food is always good, the coffee is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are doing their best. Maybe show up with some compassion instead of entitlement and you’ll get the service you deserve!

Good prices, good service. Omelette was decent, pancake was delicious. Nice to be able to order just 1 pancake on the side. Smaller place but well run.

I've been looking for a Mom & Pops style restaurant for a little bit now. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint me at all. The prices are decent and I'll be going back to this place for now on.

Was my first time going to this place and as soon as I walked in I wanted to walk out. The food was so so but the service was the worst service I have ever had. When I walked in all the lady said was sit somewhere and I was waiting for my friend to come and she was rushing me to order I told her I’m waiting for my friend. Once my friend came we ordered coffee and when we were ordering she kept messing up our order before she even made it away from our table. When the food came she just put the plates down and walked away. After we were done our food I went to go pay for our meal and then I went back to sit down and the lady comes back and says you didn’t give a tip was that a mistake. I told her no it wasn’t and I told her the service was bad and she’s like u have to give tip. So my friend gave her two dollars and we left.

Very disappointed about the service and how she asked that I didn’t give her a tip. She was rushing us to order and didn’t let us stay even though the restraunt was empty with lots of seats.

While it’s a shame that Mayor West has ruined downtown PoCo, this place is one of the few good things left.

Really nice and quaint breakfast/lunch diner in Port Coquitlam. Fantastic food, very clean and good prices. What more can one ask?

A little disappointed with my takeout order. I ordered eggs Benedict poached soft, and they were poached hard as you can see in the picture the yolk wasn’t runny at all, and my breakfast potatoes were just alright. The reason i am still giving 3 stars is because my partner ordered the BLT and his meal was good and his fries were very tasty. But can’t say the same for the eggs Benedict.

Nice staff and Clean washrooms. Good coffee and tasty food. I just enjoyed having a breakfast at this place and can suggest it to everyone. Btw nice and affordable prices
No parking but you easily find spots to park all around…. So no worries.

Great quality food. Wide selection available.
Don't be put off by roadworks outside, you don't notice it indoors.

The food here is always delicious and well priced, service is friendly, and they've really upped their decorating game since the last time I was in there. It feels very cute inside, I love this place.

Perfect place for a great breakfast at a great price. Products were fresh, breakfast was very tasty. The blueberries pancakes and cream were a delight! And staff was very very nice. It’s small but very welcoming.

I used to go to a cafe when I was a teenager back in the day and this place reminds me of it so much.

Breakfast is super cheap, fresh and always made very well. I love their french toast. The fruit bowls have a good assortment of fruit, not just cantaloupe like most places.

Last time I went they gave me a coupon for supporting their businesses which was awesome and unexpected. The staff are all such nice girls.

I love this little restaurant it's a gem. I hope it stays around for a while because I will always make a point to stop by. Darn good coffee too.

I really like that their prices are affordable compared to most places that serve the same thing but at a much high price.

I reccomend the eggs benedict! Or the spinach omlette! I recently tried ther bacon mushroom pancake which was good as well!

With that affordable price, I thought it would be just as good as other brunch restaurant. However, I was very impressed and delightful finally to find this gem bruch restaurant! I love all the breakfast menu, even burgers and sandwiches was tasty with a high quality. The server was so friendly and kind keeping attention to each customers and responds so quickly. I definitely give them thumbs up.

I cannot believe how inexpensive this place is! The breakfast food is great and the staff are so kind! It's definitely simple and straightforward. There's no iced coffee (my weakness) or fancy drink stuff. But it's delicious and so fairly priced. Note that in the warmer weather, their AC is pretty subpar - but when it cools down, I'll be back!

Good price for a decent breakfast. Eggs were a little undercooked, but not a big deal. Little outside patio for those covid times, glad it was sunny out!

Ordered their food on Ubereats today and unfortunately i wasn’t very satisfied. To start off I paid $1.50 for avocado, and I only received 4 very thinly sliced pieces which is VERY disappointing considering I could buy a whole avocado for that price. The food once received was pretty good though. Was tasty and reasonably priced.

Before the restrictions of not being able to eat inside the restaurant my friend and I ate breakfast there and I was also dissatisfied by the lack of service. We had to remind them a few times to bring coffee. As well they forgot we were even sitting in the corner of the Resturant at some point. The waitress helped all new people order coming in the door until she remembered we were waiting to order as-well and quickly came to fix the mistake.

Overall price is good, and food is pretty yummy. Parking is right out front. But Service inside isn’t great. Aswell the add ons are a bit overpriced for what you receive.
