I came to Vancouver from Toronto and i went with my friends for lunch we eat iska nder mix kabab and a lot more food is the best place to eat here. Delicious food will comeback again.

I have been coming here for the last 7 years. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Specially thier lavash bread.

Not a great experience.
Service was not respectful and welcoming, like we were wasting the waiter’s time by asking questions.
The foods was not tasty.
The meat quality was poor with cheap cuts.
Lavash bread was great.
Also, it is overpriced.

Ordered a Cheese Lover Pide and Iskandar Kabab. Food was superb! Went to Turkey last year and it is very comparable.

Family owned restaurant I think? They weren't that busy on a Friday night. Just a handful of tables. Their Turkish delights are authentic according to my Pakistani friends

Not sure wha they sell in the name of Turkish food but it's not. Who serves white rice with Iskender. Lowest of the low food quality and taste. Wasted my $40 for no reason, I want a refund for this terrible tasting food. Such a shame!

The food is amazing, however i believe the customers have the right to know that the emplyees do not receive any tips given by the customers whatsoever, this is coming by a former employee.

I was out for an evening ride and my cousin guided us to this restaurant. The food was yummy. The bread was served hot and the mixed plate provided a good sampling of food. The Lamb Guvech was moist and tasty. The Lamb Tandur was a little dry for me but yummy. Overall I would recommend you all come here.

I love the food here. But I have noticed that the quantity in the deliveries have been consistently becoming lesser. Please dont reduce the quantity, maybe increase the price if needed.

Food is very good, the lavash is huge and excellent. It is a lot of food. It was pricey. The fellas cooking and serving were very nice and efficient

Delicious! I tried the veggie iskender which was very tasty. I reordered it from uber eats around 5 times.

Food is not good at all. We asked for two pices of bread since we made two separate orders. He only gave us one piece. No recommended at all

The first visit we just came in to try some light snacks. We tried their turkish coffee- the cup was cute but when drinking it to the the very end you can taste the ground bits of coffee which gives it an unpleasant texture and taste (bitter), We had their lavash, by far it was the best one we’ve ever tried… super fresh, warm, toasty and just melts in your mouth also their dip was well balanced with the lavash. The chicken wrap was really mediocre, chicken was dry and was hoping for more components in the wrap, it lacked depth and flavor. 2 weeks later we came in to really try their main dishes & saddened to say that it was just lacking a lot of love. It was small for the big plate and it does not look like the picture displayed outside. Also the meats were dry, not flavorful, and lacked salt. Rice was a bit sticky and salad was super simple. Although their people were nice and welcoming. Ill come back here only for the lavash & yogurt dip. Other than that their main dishes are not worth the price. We paid roughly $50 for everything. (P.s. - picture shown is my side of the dish that i ordered. They all looked the same)

We haven’t been here for 15 years, as there are many other choices around town. This time we wanted to see if the food is still good.

The Lavash bread was excellent as we ate the whole thing and we do not recall seeing that huge bread in Istanbul. My main course of Beyti Sarma looked very impressive, but the ground meats were a bit on the dry side. So was the Lamb Tandur my wife had, a bit dry too.

Anyway the dishes are very special and we will definitely return to try other dishes.

I ordered the kofteh Guvesh which came with fresh bread and some yogurt sauce.

Even though there was only one other customer and I called and ordered 10 minutes before arriving I had to wait for another 15- 20 minutes to get my food.

The Guvesh was good but not great, the cheese seemed to be not of the best quality or not the freshest and I would get it with out cheese for sure next time.

The lavash bread came with oil and sesame which was actually great, I got another one for to go.

The bread is definitely worth to try since they have their own oven, and that's why I would give it a 4 star.

I need to try more of the dishes here to have a better judgment of the food quality.

Worth coming for all the way from the city. Their lavash is great and the iskander kebab is unique. There are many other great items on the menu (the hot sauce is a hidden gem)

Firstly thoes who crave for good middle eastern food this is the place. Specially for vegetarian food lovers like me, you should try Iskender and Veggie Currey (I hope it's correct spelling) and it's so amazing.

Had a great experience at the restaurant, the food was great and the customer service was amazing. They had one of the best sauces for salads I have had in a while. I will highly recommend to try their food because now I am their regular customer.

Tried turkish and Mediterranean food for the first time and loved it. Amazing taste and great presentation. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Will visit again for sure!

I had Veggie Currey. What a great Food with Delicious Recipes. Staff is so friendly with good ambience nature in the Restaurant.

Amazing food, the cooks and severs were amazing and outstanding. The food was well done made with care.

Food was more tasty before. Not sure if chef changed? No taste.

Very recent visit after a year or so and quality has awfully dropped.order mix platter and could legit eat the rice (super super super oily) and a bite if the chicken.the remaining on the platter which is almost a mix of everything on the menu "lamb kabab, chicken etc" they all had zero seasoning.very strong meat yi flavor hard to swallow without salad.even their mashed carrot was not fresh at all.frosty when served.i was sooo hungry but managed to eat all the bread and baba ghanoush which wasnt that bad. Dont think ill go there again. Very very dissappointed.also for those who care the server legit uses bare hands to bring plates, bread etc. NO gloves nothing.not covid-safe environment except for one plexy glass.but heyyyyy a glove is the least to expect from a server during these times. NOT acceptable.

I love this restaurant. It is one of my most favorite places to eat in the entire greater Vancouver region. I love their Iskenders, it is as close as you'll get to the ones in Turkey. Their lavash is to die for, it is a lovely fresh flat bread. Over all their food is amazing and will always be a special place to grab a bite for me.

Hands down and consistently equivalent to travelling to Turkey without leaving home, this restaurant really never disappoints. Starting with just walking in, one is immediately welcomed by the staff, which along with appearing very professional, appear to be authentic. One is also graced with seeing the wood fire oven in use, with which all of the delicious food is made. The service is prompt, the food tastes fresh and is made directly in front of the guests. May I recommend for a starter, to try the fresh baked Lavash (in your choice of white or whole wheat) with fresh hummus or Tzatziki as you will be sold on this Eastern European cuisine. While there, one must also try their Turkish coffee, preferably with dessert as the bitterness of the coffee pairs well with the sweetness of the desserts. The coffee is strong but authentic and won’t burn a hole through your stomach as it is quality coffee. One caution I will give is not to go for that last sip as you will be greeted with the finely ground coffee grounds. Just a pro tip from having done it a few times:)
The prices appears high but the dishes are meant to be shared so when though of it that way, it makes sense and is not excessive. The restaurant is clean and COVID friendly. The ambiance, music and decor lets one imagine they are actually in Turkey. Really I have no complaints and will return every chance I get.

Fresh, authentic Turkish food and friendly staff. The atmosphere is lovely inside. The lavash bread comes straight out of the oven, warmed and puffed up until it settles.

The Shepard's guvech was my favourite this time. Beef, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, prepared like a stew then covered in cheese and baked. It's fantastic!

Lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender. It comes with a nice variety of rice, vegetables, pickled veg, etc.

I am Turkish and i went there when i was in Vancouver (2 years ago) because i had missed Turkish food so much. First of all there wasnt anything wrong with the people, they served me properly but when i first went there they didnt even say "welcome" or "hello" or whatever. I just ordered the food, ate it, and paid for it and then went silently. So if they were wamer it could be nicer.
I tried lahmacun. It wasnt like Turkish lahmacun it was more like "kıymalı pide". But the taste was good the portions were big. So it was good.
I tried Lentil soup and i dont remember much but it was okay too.
Then i tried "iskender kebap". That was the worst iskender kebab i had ever eaten. It didnt even taste like iskender kebab. It was just thin sliced meat. And the meat didnt taste good at all either.
By the way they always bring you water and ayran with any meal you order and it is free. Also it tasted good.
Lavash tastes nice too.
So some meals were good some meals were bad. If you really miss Turkish food you can check this place but it wouldnt be exactly like you are in Turkey. Also as far as i remember the owner wasnt Turkish either.

I went there yesterday to have dinner iam totally happy about this restaurant and I wanna talk about my dinner.
The food was really amazing I really love it the bread was awesome but I have some small notice I hope the owner see these and think about it.
Lights inside restaurant not really good and not make you feel comfortable I hope he/she check this.
The food cane at reasonable time but only with 1 tissue and no spoons! Yes no spoons.

Also they don’t have beverage I just got glasses water.

My dinner overall was very cool,
I recommend you guys to go there and have fun, especially my dinner was mixed Kabab with hummus with bread.

Love the chicken iskender here! The food is yummy, the portions are quite big, & the staff is attentive!

Food tasted pretty good, especially the chicken iskender. Only little problem with chicken guvech was that lavash came for the table and not separately for chicken guvech, which was not clear from the menu. A bit expensive though.
Overall atmosphere is good and it's a treat to watch them cook the food in the big furnace right near the entrance.
