I went to Andy Sorensen Auto Body for a claim on the passenger side door damage. ICBC approved repair shop. My insurance provider is BCAA. They accommodated my estimation request straight away, took the pictures and measurements, etc. Gave them the claim and adjustors number. 3 star for this.

The guy told me they would finish the estimation and send it next week. I called the office two weeks later to know the status, and they said they are still processing.

Finally, I called BCAA three weeks later and found out that Andy Sorensen is not an approved BCAA repair shop. But so far, I haven't heard anything from them. If you can't do it, that's fine. At least let the customer know so they can find another shop who can and don't waste time.

My experience with Sorensen Auto Body in Surrey, BC was nothing short of a complete disappointment.

This auto body shop displayed a stunning lack of accountability, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

The absence of remorse in how they manage themselves is simply unacceptable, especially considering their responsibility to assist people who have experienced collisions.

From the moment I brought my car in on Friday and processed the necessary paperwork for ICBC, it became apparent that clear communication and timely service were not priorities for Sorensen Auto Body.

When I called in a few hours later, seeking an estimated timeframe for the submission to ICBC, I received yet another vague response from a worker named Ian. He casually mentioned, "It's on the schedule, first thing in the morning on Monday. "

Frustrated by the lack of transparency, I called in on Monday having still not herd anything from Ian as he mentioned on Friday to request a more definite idea of when the paperwork would be submitted.

However, instead of offering reassurance or an explanation, I was greeted by Ed, the owner, with a dismissive question: "What's the rush? " His response showed a complete disregard for my concerns and the importance of timely communication, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer.

As the days have passed, and still no feedback from the auto body shop, I reached out to Ian once more.

Astonishingly, he seemed unaware of the damage location, indicating that the work order had not been submitted. I made another request for a committed time or date so that I could plan accordingly and offer support.

However, I was once again transferred to Ed, who continued to evade my question and displayed increasingly unprofessional behaviour.

He responded with remarks like, "I don't know who you think you are.go take your car elsewhere. "

Such disrespectful and confrontational behaviour is completely unacceptable, particularly when a customer seeks clarification and resolution.

Given this experience, we decided not to proceed with Sorensen Auto Body and asked them not to submit the work order. We will be taking our business elsewhere, seeking a reputable auto body shop that values accountability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, Sorensen Auto Body failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and customer service.

Their inability to take responsibility, maintain clear communication, and treat customers with respect is deeply disheartening.

I strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to a shop that disregards fundamental principles in the professional world.

Instead, opt for an auto body shop that prioritizes customer satisfaction and demonstrates a commitment to excellence in their work.

So impressed with the service! Very professional and accommodating. They got me in very quick as well as vacuumed and washed my car! Will definitely recommend them going forward:)

Brought my car into Andy Sorensen after a head on collision.which happened 3 days after I bought my car. Ed was amazing! Kept me informed every step of the way. 9 days from date of tow to pick up car that looks as good as the day I bought it! Thank you Ed and team for the great work and outstanding customer service.

ICBC claim 100% not my fault. My tire got a screw causing slow leak on my brand new car but they would not acknowledge it was done in their shop. They should clean the shop to prevent it. Then they told me to get minor reset of caution light on dashboard from Hyundai and they would reimburse me. It ended up costing me $300 to evaluate and they refuse to reimburse me or get the electrical work done by Hyundai. They refuse to call me or email me with updates. If you call they put you on hold off and on for hours. Then they actually lied saying they called me and I sent them screen shot proving they did not call. Incompetent, unethical and dishonest. Left me in limbo. I am going back to ICBC to deal with my claim directly with Hyundai to complete the work and it is 8 months since the rear ender and they never finished the job. They have no customer service interest and zero conflict resolution skills. NEVER would recommend them.

Everyone in the office was extremely helpful and friendly. They got me in quickly and was done when they said it would be done. I’m extremely happy with the service that was provided and would definitely recommend this auto body shop to everyone!

After getting into an accident I had given my 2008 Honda Pilot to Andy Sorensen to get fixed up. However they never did the job properly and replaced the broken items with cheaper versions of the part. I wouldn't recommend you getting your car fixed from here.

I had a minor repair to my car frame.received other estimates then chose Sorensen. Not only did they give the most reasonable estimate, but upon completion of the work, charged me less than the estimate as it took less time.it was s so great to deal with honest, cheerful, pleasant people that did excellent work, that I will definitlly use them again if the need arises.

Ed and his team are true professionals. Not only are they an amazing body shop, they are truly amazing people. From the receptionist to all the workers. They have gone above an beyond to help their customers have the best experience. If I could give them more stars I would. Thank you for your exceptional service. My family and I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

Ed and the team do great work! Recently had to deal with a small repair to my car and I really appreciated the attention Ed gave to my plight. In spite of it being a very minor repair I felt like he went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend them!

I can’t say enough good things about Sorensen Auto. Their work is top notch. Customer service amazing. Most importantly is the follow up after the work is done. Many shops don’t follow up after you pickup your car. Sorensen calls to ensure your happy with their work.

After being in an accident that cause significant damage to my vehicle, I needed to get it towed to a location of my choosing for a repair estimate. I contacted Andy Sorensen Autobody late in the day on New Years Eve. I fully expected not to hear from anyone for a couple of days due to New Years leading directly in to the weekend. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. I got a call that night after hours. That was a pleasant surprise. From there I had quite a few different interactions with the staff, mainly Moe. Every time, they were accommodating, pleasant, and extremely helpful with all of my questions. They also guided me through the ICBC process and informed me of some of the benefits that I was entitled to that I wasn't aware of.

I didn't need to have any work done by Andy Sorensen Autobody as my vehicle was written off by ICBC. But if that day comes where I need any of their services, I won't have any hesitation about going back to them. I had an excellent experience with them and I definitely recommend giving them a chance if you need any of their services!

Ed and the team at Andy Sorensen have gone above and beyond for me and my vehicle time and time again. The service is second to none as well as the quality of their work. I hope I don't need to return but if I do, I know supporting the customer is number one to them before profit.

I came in a month ago for a quote on a body paint. One of the employees made copies of my documents, which I was quite confused about since it was just a quote, took photos of my car and then told me I would receive a call from their mechanic the following Monday. Three days went by and I didn’t receive any updates. I had to call them myself, and the person told me they didn’t have any photos of the car so they couldn’t give me a quote. However I corrected them because the first guy did take quite a few photos. He said he would call me again the next day for an update. Nothing. It’s been a month now and I didn’t bother following up since they did not seem to care. I just found them to be very unprofessional and should at least let me know they’ve shredded my documents as it was not necessary in the first place.

I chose Andy Sorensen Autobody & Frame Ltd.since it was walking distance from my home. I had an ICBC claim and had the rest of the car painted and new headlights put in. I was amazed by the result! The estimate was in alignment with the total cost. I was left feeling looked after and service was amazing. I will most certainly recommend this shop to my friends. Thanks again for the great job!

Just picked up my vehicle today after getting some bodywork/paint done. The workmanship and color match was bang on. Ed and his wife are both very friendly, and the quote and time it would take was right on the money! So a little over 2yrs ago, my wifes car got hit from behind.it's a 2016 civic. I contacted Surrey Honda and they suggested Andy Sorenson Autobody. So I took it to them with my ICBC claim - the vehicle needed a new rear bumper and painted of course. Few days later it was ready for pickup - my wife went to get it.upon arriving, i told her to inspect it.she noted that the paint was already chipped off each corner of the bumper where it meets the rear quarter panels. It blew me away that they would expect us to take it as is without noticing. SO.left it with them.another few days later it was ready and all looked good.fast forward 2yrs or so, the rear bumper starting to chip where it meets the rear qtr body panel. Took it to the shop and was notified that they had no courtesy cars and would call me when one was available so they can correct the chip.well.it's been over 5 months and no call - i dont think they back up their work and/or just poor customer service after a job is completed.i would not recommend.i'll be contacting ICBC and Surrey Honda to put in a complaint and ask for a different shop as these guys rush the jobs through. PICS below show where the paint scraped off as they forced the bumper in without realizing the bumper was not ready to be reinstalled.

Excellent service! Needed car's spoiler repaired. Some clips broken inside.initial estimate was around $250 for the job.
But after doing a great job on fixing it.was charged just $35 as he did not use all the clips they have ordered and did not even charge for the labor as I was told it was a very quick job. Very much impressed with their
