I had great experience in Angelos! I visited Mila for a hair coloring and cutting, and I was thoroughly impressed with her skills.

Mila's color techniques were spot on, and she was able to give me exactly the shade of blonde that I had been hoping for. She took the time to really understand what I wanted and gave me helpful suggestions based on my hair type and skin tone. She paid attention to every little detail, making sure that every strand of hair was perfectly in place.

Throughout the entire process, Mila was incredibly friendly and professional. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, and I could tell that she truly cares about her clients and their hair.

I would highly recommend Mila to anyone looking for a skilled and talented hairstylist. Thank you, Mila, for giving me the perfect hairdo!

You need to get Jill to do your hair! I’ve been seeing her for about 10 years now and I’ve always had many compliments about my hair.

Recently I showed Jill a daring short haircut I had seen but was concerned it wouldn’t look good on me because of my hair type. She assured me she could cut my hair to overcome the peculiarities of my hair to achieve a very similar look.

I’ve officially lived with my new haircut through 5 sleeps and 1 wash and I can officially say this is the best short haircut I have ever had! At previous salons my haircut usually never looks as good once I leave the salon but Jill’s haircut looked just as good days after I left the salon.

I don’t think I applied enough dry wax nor did I spray it evenly enough after my wash but the haircut still looked great! There were a few mornings where I woke up looking like I had a bird’s nest on my head but amazingly it looked good after running my hands through my hair.

I have NEVER had a new short haircut where the transition was so painless and effortless Jill is truly an expert in her craft!

Wasted my time driving out there, booked an appointment for the scalp massage service on the phone, then when I showed up was told it was only an addon and I would have to buy a haircut as well, which was more than double the price.

First "new normal" hair appointment.
Felt very comfortable, good safety precautions in place.
Julian was very professional, very prepared and fun!

Website offers services you can't actually get. I was looking for feather extensions which is a service offered on the site but when I called to book I was told they don't actually have them.

Was apprehensive about getting a hair cut during the Pandemic but went. I arrived called when I got there and was brought in immediately you need to wear a mask. Be prepared to not sit in the waiting area, I went right to the wash station, attendant had gloves and mask on, no issues. Angelo then proceeded to cut my hair and made me feel relaxed as you can be. All done efficiently and professionally. Thank you. All the areas where I had sat were then cleaned and sanitized for the next person. Thanks Great Job

A post Covid19 hair cut at last! As a former public health nurse, I was skeptical and nervous (and a little critical!) about saftey at the salon. Nothing to worry about at Angelo's! I felt totally safe and protected. Everything was done right. Both staff and clients respected all of the public health recommendations and followed them to the letter. Congratulations to Angelo, Charlene and the rest of the staff.and THANK-YOU! Thank-you as well for the wonderful cut, colour and even comraderie through masks and virtual hugs.

Honestly one of the worst experiences Ive ever had.
I got a $69 package deal, including a cut, a colour, gel nails/makeup application and a massage. I went in on thursday for my colour;
with existing red hair-just wanting to brighten it up a bit and match my roots.
WELL, I left with PINK roots.cotton candy pink nonetheless.
I was in the salon for upwards of 4 hours and was quoted that the services I was recieving would cost me around $100-150 which seemed a bit steep seeing as I was meant to have a colour included-but as I was getting my roots bleached I figured it was to be expected.
When I got up to the counter however, I was charged $223.with the $69 package thats around $300, for PINK ROOTS!
Absolutely atrocious.
Angelo even came up to me at one point and stated that my hair looked fabulous and that it suited me.
Excuse me? Looking like a cotton candy drag queen suits me? Great.
My stylist Veronica was smart enough to state up front that I should come in again to get it fixed free of charge, and when I called to reschedule the front desk lady was EXTREMELY rude.
I asked for a refund instead of them screwinig around with my hair again and she refused;
even though I had informed her I was sent home from work (for having pink hair in a professional office) and had lost wages as well as respect from my collegues and manager.
She suggested I put my hair up in a bun.
As if that would solve my problems.

I strongly suggest that you DO NOT go to angelo's.
They are fake and lie straight to your face; then proceed to make RIP YOU OFF.
If you let them; THEY WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR.

Yippee! A haircut at last! Hard to believe it’s been 2 months since my last hair cut and that salons have been closed because of Covid 19.
It was great to be able to go to back Angelo’s salon - they did everything possible to make me feel safe and protected. I waited in my car and they called to tell me to come in. Inside there were two places to use hand sanitizer. I was required to wear a mask as was all the staff. The receptionist has a plexiglass partition at her desk and provided a bag for my purse to keep it clean. The lady who washed my hair had on a mask and a face shield.
As a nurse, I was very attentive as to how they were handling my visit. I felt safe and they did a great job on their first day of being open.

Oh boy! Where do I begin. Ladies and Gentleman I have personally known Angelo for what am I "35" I was 19. = I have known the Diva himself for 16 years now.

Let me tell you this man wears his Business on his Sleeve. The way his Salon makes you feel from the first moment you walk into the shop is very inviting. This is my first review I think I have ever written about anything or anyone as I'm not the type.

Angelo's Salon & Spa goes beyond Hair & Nails & Tanning. Not only is it a one stop shop for all your Beauty Needs. But it is a place where you will become a part of his home away from home. I could admit I don't always get my haircut there. I told Angelo yesterday. I'm sorry, I couldn't make it by the shop. I got my haircut at Magic Cuts. He's like what? He's like they did a good job. Oh my God, Angelo. I drove them absolutely bananas. That like we're not a barbershop. I'm like, I'm not leaving this chair until you get it, right. LOL, don't make me go to Angelo's. Listen, he's a great friend. He's a dear friend. You know. His shop has been there forever. It's the most fun place you could ever go. The Stylists, he hires. Are nothing but amazing. The shop itself It's not overly big. But it's well put together. Very tasteful if you need to get a tan. If you need your hair done. If you need your nails done. Or if you just need someone to talk to. Feel free to go on in. When you come to Angelo's You become part of the family. I don't know what else I'm just rambling on now. So just go there. If you want the best quality And service. I honestly cannot. Recommend a better place to go not just in Port Moody but the whole lower mainland if not all canada, it's just that welcoming.

I been trying to get my hair back to blonde for years with countless fails from other salons. I was recommended Angelo’s Salon & Spa and I am very happy with how good their new hair stylist Julian; as well as Angelo’s staff did on my hair.

I had just given birth and wanted to surprise my husband with a fresh new look. I decided to go blonde as I'm originally brunette. I bought extensions and told Maria I wanted her to match them. I knew that was a challenge and didn't think it turn exactly the same. Maria advised me to do a balayage as that would make my ends light enough to match my extensions, and it would all blend together nicely. It turned out amazing! I love my knew look: D
and she was right.my hair blends in perfectly with the extensions Thank you Maria!

My first time there yesterday, Julian did my hair, and I couldn't be happier! He was very young, but very skilled. Took his time to make sure it was cut exactly exactly as I wanted it. I'll definitely be returning to him!

I went last December to recolour my hair so I tried Angelos. When I went in, the stylist gave me an estimate and it was higher than I wanted to pay so she adjusted it but didn't give me a final estimate. At the end of the day, I paid over $300 for a cut and balayage. She did a nice job but be prepared to pay high prices.

The last time I came to Angelo's I got extensions and a dye job. They turned out fantastic! I haven't been disappointed yet!

Alright - I've been meaning to do a review for quite some. So here we go.

I've been going to Angelo's Salon & Spa for years - gotten a couple of things done with them: eyelash extensions, waxing, and most importantly, my hair.

I first went to Angelo's Salon & Spa after a little mishap with box dye and trying to dye my hair red. I went there, booked an appointment with Alaina and ever since, I haven't looked back. Alaina has gotten me to different hair colors throughout the years - various shades of red, and then I went purple for a month before I had to quickly change it to blonde due to a job interview. I'm currently rocking a blonde with some pink highlights at the moment. Alaina has done WONDERS on my hair.

But - since I've been coming to Angelo's, I've been extremely observant of the other hair stylists. They don't do the SAME hair color formula or cut for everyone - they customize it based on your preference and what suits you well.

Angelo's ALWAYS takes care of me - from helping me book all my hair appointments in advance to just helping accommodate me whenever possible. The hair stylists that I know and the receptionist do their best to make me feel comfortable.

For people complaining about the price - you pay what you get for. You're paying for QUALITY of the service - not once have I ever had a major mishap at Angelo's.

The Angelo Experience is excellent from the moment you walk in the door they greet you and provide refreshments and are very kind and make you feel welcome. Diane cut and styled my hair and its the best cut I could ever ask for. Everything I wanted. Thank you Diane you are the most talented hairstylist ever. I feel beautiful again. Every employee at Angelos is skilled and talented and a definate place everyone should experience. Monica

Emma is an absolute star. She made me feel so relaxed, so confident in her ability and also made me feel so beautiful! My wedding hair was completely perfect! It was exactly like the reference photo I sent to her and I genuinely could not have been happier with how my hair
looked and how it made me feel on the day. She worked so fast too - due to obvious time pressure on our behalf! As well as my hair, she also did a stunning job on our ring bearers hair and on my bridesmaid. I felt like aHollywood movie star and that’s all thanks to the wonderful Emma and her incredible talent.

Went in for a "balayage". Came out with some subtle highlights that we're not the colour I was going for. Complained and stylist said she would fix it. Went 2nd time and felt hopeful, as she was consulting with another stylist. After bleaching and toning it was yellow, not ashy. Then she put something else in my hair, which made it more ashy (probably semi- permanent), but colour of my roots has changed slightly. I was holding back tears and just wanted to get the heck out of there. I could tell she was annoyed too. So I said it was fine and left. But I hate it. I just want to get a box dye and go back to my "normal" colour. Ugh, what a huge waste of hundreds of $$.
