I’m new to this gym but love it. It’s perfect for anyone who likes a smaller gym with all the workings of a larger gym. The equipment is fantastic and the amenities are much better than previous larger gyms I’ve been to. I love the kind and familiar faces as I walk in the door, and my training with Lee has been impeccable. He has helped me tremendously with my knee mobility issues and continues to do so. I am truly pleased with my decision to go here, and they are available internationally (perfect for a digital nomad like me).

I had been a former member of Anytime Fitness Poco and had wanted to end my membership as I had ongoing medical issues that I could not attend the gym to deal with. I had asked my account to be cancelled/frozen per my doctors instructions, there was miscommunication between the manager at the time and myself, and I ended up being charged the total amount over time and I did not realize this (almost a year of payments). While at first I was upset about this, I was able to meet with the new manager and owners and they kindly agreed to waive my fees in order to assist my medical costs that I needed to save money for.

I found this very endearing, and it was really nice to know Anytime cared about their past members, as I am sure they feel the same about their current members. While at first I found my experience unwell, the kindness the new management showed me completely changed my view of the gym and I am incredibly appreciative of them helping me during my tough times.

Tiny gym, I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for months. Even though my contract has been over (I haven’t even used the building in 6+ months) they still decide to charge me and don’t answer their calls or texts. I know the number is active because they wouldn’t stop sending me texts until I got quite irritated in message. Edit: They also charge me 10x more a month then club 16 which is a way better and bigger facility.

Edit 2: You’re phone number is wrong on Google/website. I called number attached and I’m unable to cancel until I go in and give them a 30 day cancellation notice. So I’m paying at this place until I can find spare time to go to downtown poco just so they can charge me another month I’m not even residing in that area anymore and I tried to cancel months ago and got told it’d be cheaper to wait it out.

I love this gym! I recently moved to Port Coquitlam and joined this anytime fitness. The gym is kept very clean and the staff is so kind and helpful! Jessica welcomed me with open arms and made me feel super comfortable, she is amazing! Highly recommend.

I love this location of anytime fitness. The managers and trainer have such a cool vibe an also they are so profesional, kind and fun! They always have the best attitude to motivate and train people. Also I think is super clean. They always make sure everything is tidy for us. Love it!

I just recently transferred over to the Anytime in Poco from the Downtown location and I love it! The atmosphere is always upbeat and the staff are extremely friendly. Shoutout to the manager Jess especially for always being positive, outgoing and so welcoming the moment you step foot into the gym!

One day I got my finger cut on the sharp door handle when I pull the door handle to open the door.
I told one of the staff, she ignored me.

On its page it says that you can try 7 days for free, and I went to the branch, but the girl who attends told me that it's a lie and they don't do that, I felt cheated, and told me that I have to hire the gym for a year. They make misleading advertising, I do not recommend anyone.

Anytime fitness in Port Coquitlam is by far one of the best gyms I've worked out at. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The engery in there is electrifying and encouraging. I never feel out of place or awkward when trying new (to me) equipment. Someone is always available to give me instructions without judgement.
It's also very clean and well maintained.
Thank you to the wonderful team for you contagious passion for wellness and fitness.

Since initial contact about a trial period to now. I have had nothing short of amazing experience with this facility. Beyond friendly staff and members, very clean and tidy and good selection of equipment for all your workout needs. I also have joined in on the personal training program there and have been extremely happy with that experience as well:)

I highly recommend this gym for anyone in the POCO area looking to join a friendly environment that welcomes you with open arms, no matter what your experience is with working out.

Very well equipped gym for weight lifters. If you are looking to work out where staff are courteous and knowledgeable this is the one. Hands down for good clean environment.

Recently joining anytime fitness port Coquitlam I couldn't be happier. I was very nervous to get back into it but this gym has such a happy, friendly environment it made it easy after the first day! Jessica was so helpful and accommodating to get me started with training and in the right hands to get the results I want. I look forward to continuing at this gym and referring friends here! ️

I was looking to join a Gym and called around and viewed quite a few different locations. What stood out to me was the friendly service from my first point of contact with Jessica. She gave lots of interest to get to know exactly what I wanted out of a gym. Came in and met Jessica and her energy and laugh is contagious. Anytime is international and 24/7 which works great for me as I do travel quite a bit for work. Jessica needs to be recognized as she really goes above for the customer having genuine care and pride in her job. Unfortunately that lacks in service these days but definitely not at Anytime Poco. All members of the staff are friendly and there to encourage and assist. Well done!

Terrible experience. I feel completely scammed. Very hard, high-pressure sales techniques if you try to cancel even when your obligation period is over.
For context, I also have a membership for 10/month at Fit4Less and they have been amazing - proactively communicating, an excellent on-line scheduling system during the height of the pandemic, extremely professional, and when I decided to cancel due to covid, I sent one email and it was done. What a difference! I will go back to them in a heartbeat.

Back to Anytime Fitness - I unwisely signed up for a year just before the Fraser Health Region became the most dangerous in the province. There was no financial consideration for the pandemic closures and the covid precautions were never enforced. I let my membership period run out and then kept trying to cancel. I got a royal run around. Very unprofessional excuses were continually offered (there's no one in office except between 8-2 and you have to come in in-person - if you can't come during those hours, you cannot cancel your membership; then there were the constant phone calls with a very hard, aggressive sell on trying to talk me out of canceling). Gyms have just been closed again so I know there will be more excuses about how there is no one in the office so as much as they would like to help me, there is no way they can cancel my membership. I'm not sure where to go from here. They're taking the money directly out of my bank account so short of closing my bank account, I don't think I'll ever be able to stop the $70/month-for-nothing money grab. Three months of trying to cancel my membership and nothing but excuses or silence. So unethical.

I’ve been training with Lee for a few months now and it’s been great. Him and all the staff are really friendly and do an excellent job keeping the gym tidy and clean.

Awesome place to work out. Keep things extremely clean and safe, the entire facility is brand new, and the crowds are super minimal most of the time. Staff are friendly and eager to help out with anything you need. Will be extending my membership.

Definitely one of the best gyms I've ever been to. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, they have always been very helpful and take the time to get to know you. The equipment is all up to date and with the new renovations there's plenty of space.

Great anytime fitness location. Has 3 squat racks and is clean. I was able to use everything without waiting. Seems like it might be busy during peak times but I went early in the morning so I don’t know.

Great gym. Everybody is very friendly and the equipment in great condition. It had everything I needed and liked. Machines were always available when I needed them even when it was busy. I could always modify my workout so a machine I would need be available.

Gym has less equipment and quality than other locations. Very poor customer service and the staff are very rude.

Signed up about a month ago and I have to say I am enjoying this experience. The staff are very friendly and Ricky was helpful in the introduction process. Equipment is great, the gym has all the essentials you need to have a good workout. Also during most times it is not that busy which is a major plus as the previous gym I went to people would constantly interrupt and ask how many minutes left.

I am leaving Anytime Fitness Poco at the end of this month and signing up at the Gold's Gym next door. I want to leave a positive review for the year that I have trained here.

The place is clean and the staff are available and respectful. I came at the time Richard was still working there and he was always friendly and willing to help.

Me personally, I take training more serious than the common individual and all the additional equipment and facilities that are offered at Gold's is valuable to me. And the price difference was around $10 so that sealed the deal. I believe this gym caters to people who want a smaller, less crowded space while still providing all the basic equipment that is needed for a great workout.

I like this gym a lot, it is clean and has a good variety of machines and weights. I am new to the gym scene and this gym has a good vibe to it and makes me feel welcomed there.

I've been going here for nearly two months and have great experience so far. Ricky was incredibly nice and helpful with signing me up talking me through all fees and terms. I had a free consultation session with a trainer (Lee) who was super knowledgeable and gave great advice.
The gym space is a bit on the small side, something I was concerned when started there. But I've never had a problem doing my workout there because they have quite a lot of good-quality equipment still, though not sure what its like during peak, non-covid times. In any case, I haven't faced any problems yet and have been quite satisfied with both the gym and the amazing staff!

Very clean. Friendly staff and the personal trainers are amazing. I would highly recommend Randy for a trainer if you are looking for one. He has help me push beyond what I thought was possible. He honestly cares about his clients.

During this pandemic, a concern of mine was having a gym that kept a clean, safe workout environment. Anytime fitness has gone above and beyond expectations, with with routine sanitization of the facility, as well as following the BC health and safety regulations.

This is a great place to workout. The staff are great. Safety signs all around the gym during this time of pandemic is definitely a plus. Highly recommended to enroll here with access to lots of AF locations around the world.

Anytime Fitness is an amazing gym! The trainers make you feel comfortable going up to them to ask questions. They helped a beginner like me who has never stepped foot into a gym feel confident and safe working out. Shout out to Lee being an awesome trainer!

Clean, lots of parking and washrooms but not that big place to workout and sometimes gets busy.

Never too crowded and friendly staff and members. It is a great gym for workouts at all hours, especially if you may be uncomfortable during busy hours.

ANYTIME FITNESS in Port Coquitlam is an exceptional gym. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Especially management. There is always someone here to answer questions about anything. As well as they clean and sanitize the equipment often and thoroughly. Making it a safe clean environment to workout in. I have tried may gyms throughout the years and this is the best fit for me. Been here for 3 years and I HIGHLY recommend it.

My husband's contract has ended and he wants to cancel. We live with an immune compromised person and going to a small gym is not an option during this pandemic. They are insisting that we physically come in to "fill out a cancellation form". I tried calling and emailing. Consumer Protection law in BC says that you only need to provide written cancellation.

Spoke with someone and informed him of the law, he said to send an email. Emailed and someone else told us we had to physically come in. Atrocious behavior during a pandemic, especially when we have every right to cancel as our contract is up.

Very clean, nice atmosphere, and all the staff is so friendly! It’s not packed like other gyms, and their social distancing measures were on point. Enjoyed my workout here:)

I love this place! They do a great job of keeping me on track. They do a great job of sanitizing everything so it’s safe for us to use. My Trainer Lee is amazing at making a plan that best suits me and what will get me to my goals best I love this place.

After researching lots of gym I think Anytime fitness gym is very reasonable without compromising with quality. Very professional and clear during you enroll. Trainers are very motivational. So i highly recommended.

I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for about 1 year and really love everything about the gym. The facility is always cleaned, they have all required equipment for a good workout. I have never seen a missing dumbbells or broken equipment. The staff is always welcoming and polite. I find the price fair as well.

Been coming here for 2 and a half years now staff is great and they keep their equipment in tip top shape. Also Richard has baller confirmation message replies

BE WARN! Gym is great was a member for nearly 5 years until MYICLUBONLINE started to make unauthorized charges to my account. They started charging me on Bi-weekly when I only authorized a once a month charges to be allowed an contract I signed is monthly. For 4 or so years my charges monthly was steady an consitent on the first of every month until I switched banks an missed payments did the problem started occurring for the first 2 months everything was the same until my bank notified me that ABCFinacial tried to take money out. Every two weeks they started off with the normal fees but then 10,15,25 small charges was popping up every bi-weekly upon discovery this I contacted myiclub; since anytime fitness doesn't want to do any customer service they leave it to you to speak to their 3rd party business partner to solve your problem; they replied with I'm on a bi-weekly contract an its all gym membership fee. I had kept my contract, bank statements, my electronic agreement I kept everything. They were trying to low key nickle an dimmed me an ended my relationship with Anytime Fitness. Be very careful I suggest avoid them. I got out by contacting lawyers and they aren't easy to communicate with aswell, its a trash system, they will SCAM you in a sleazy way hoping you won't notice small charges.

There is no way I'm deleting a review that warns ppl of fraudulent charges. All your gyms ALL of them use MyIclub. One gym is all the same. I was with the club when MJ Anciado was managing it before leaving to manage a bank being replaced by Mike Dalton then replaced by Richard Baxter HOW I KNOW it's in the Anytime Fitness emails we get.
