Probably one of the best Greek restaurants in Vancouver. Service is a bit slower than normal. But food makes up for it. Recommend.

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to look for a good greek restaurant after our honeymoon in Santorini. Female server Katerina was so sweet. Lemon potatoes were overcooked, roasted lamb need more sauce. Soulaki and calamari were so good! Thank you for your service

It is a small and pretty Greek restaurant located right next to Granville Island and in front of Prado Coffee Shop. I'm not a person who really enjoys grilled chicken, but the grilled chicken breast here was really great. It was soft and juicy and went very well with the rice salad and potato tzatziki sauce that came with it. Above all, the service from the woman who served me was the best, and I didn't feel bloated at all like I did when I ate out. Thank you for allowing me to have a happy meal with my family late on the weekend.

Elegant local treasure serving fresh, authentic Greek dishes. The Spanakopita platter is lovely. Good wine choices and friendly service. Gets busy, so call ahead and book! No outdoor dining. CCs accepted. Prices can be a buck or two more than other places since the renovation. They close for a week or two in August.
Update- August 2022:
This is one of our two favourite Greek restaurants in Vancouver, and we enjoy dining on their outdoor patio in the warm weather. Although they no longer have their Spanakopita platter on the menu, they are always happy to get us one (unlike the old one, there are no dolmades anymore). We started with an order of saganaki with pita and also split a large Greek salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. They were out of the rosé by the glass on the menu, and substituted one normally sold by the bottle only. We liked the carafe of water, as my partner drinks lots. We also shared their baclava for dessert and loved it. Bathrooms are impeccably clean. Staff tremendously friendly and work together as a team. Credit card machines do not work on the patio, so I paid inside. Prices on the OpenTable page are not up to date, check the restaurant website for current menu. Always enjoy a delightful meal here.
August 2023: No more patio, but the food and service are always spectacular. We come before 6: 30 as things are cooked to order, we like to dine before it gets too busy. Everything was top notch, however the faucet in the bathroom needs tightening…

Went here for dinner recently and wow, hands down the best Greek food in Vancouver. The roast lamb is probably the best Greek dish I’ve had in my life.great homey atmosphere and wine list. Should be on everyone’s list to try out if you’ve never been!

Ok, so there are many so called Greek restaurants in Vancouver to claim to be authentic Greek cuisine. But honestly for those who have lived or have been in Greece and had some amazing food and you wish to be transported back to that time and place! This is the place to be. Great Greek food, cooked perfectly and ultimately at least for me, the desert (sweet tooth and all) was to die for!

I finally found Greek food heaven and will never swap this place for any other when it comes to Greek authentic food. Thank you for the amazing transportation of time and space by eating such authentic food, from the amazing grilled squid to the tender lamb souvlaki, to the bougatsa!

Had the Seafood Linguine, which was very good. Pasta and sauce were both perfect. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive

Apollonian is a restaurant I would eat at again. It was our first time there and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We were even able to order a pizza from their take-out menu, even though we dined in.

The service staff were friendly and polite, but since the restaurant was busy, we felt a little ignored, especially towards the end of our dining experience.

I have gone to this restaurant a few times, but I have been disappointed each time. The pizza isnt as good as Pizza Hut down the road, the rest of their food is fair but nothing special and nowhere near as good as Vassilis in Burnaby. The portions are small and everything is overpriced. The servers are alright, but some of them continued to wear too much strong perfume and colognes even though Ive told them several times that it gives people like me a headache. The only reason I continued to go there is because it is closer than other places on 4th Avenue and Broadway. My girlfriend doesnt want to walk too far to a restaurant if it is freezing out or raining too hard, otherwise I would never have gone there again. I am writing this after getting a headache from my last visit, I wish that I had driven to a different restaurant instead and that is exactly what I will do next time I choose to eat out when the weather is bad.
