Asian 5’6 man with cotton ball looking hair was showing some attitude after I was returning my phone. I could tell by his face the hatred he expressed and the way he talked to me that he wanted non of my business. Apple Coquitlam you need to work on who you hire!

Terrible customer service, our ipad pro died after barely 3 years of use and they gave us no solution basically said it was your fault even tho we cant even check what happened. Our data was completely lost and we would have to pay $600 dollars and go to a data recovery centre to fix it. I’m not mad about losing the ipad the customer service was horrible and very rude

Fast friendly service, ordered an item online and it was ready for pick up in about 15-20 mins. I went and ran errands and came back to it being ready.

This is my silicone watch strap after 11 months of wear. I brought it into the Apple Store at Coquitlam Centre. They told me it was not under warranty as it was my fault it tore in half (as I was putting in on after charging). She said she’d never seen that before - so couldn’t possibly be a defect. What ensued was an unpleasant experience where I felt like a ping pong ball being shunted from counter to counter. I had an appointment (which the fourth representative told me wasn’t possible because they no longer do appointments - I showed him my confirmation text), but they continued shuffling me from counter to counter. All in all, a sad experience with staff that felt almost robotic. Don’t get me wrong, I love my watch - and my iPhone and my iPad. But Apple doesn’t seem to get customer service. When a new, superior company and product surfaces, that’s where I’ll be headed.

I bought my first iphone yesterday (not in this store). Well, I went into the Apple store and stood in front of the phonecases with absolutely no idea. He approached me really friendly and offered help, which was obviously needed. He helped me out with case, charger and headphones. I tried it the last 24 hours and everything works just perfect. His expertise and advice with the headphones was fantastic. Since I've got tiny ears he suggested the smallest version. They fit ideal. Also really appreciated his honesty. Would go to this store any time.

I was told by Apple on Mar 8th that my iPhone 7 battery replacement would cost $69. I asked to verify that this was in Canadian dollars. The person replied yes.
So I made the appointment at the Coquitlam Apple Store for the replacement. When I arrive, a so called “genius” tells me that it’s going to cost $95 plus taxes!
It was useless arguing with him, my time was already wasted, so I went ahead with the battery replacement.
Nice one Apple! ……did someone say “price gouging “? I also know that these geniuses are paid on commission.

I do not now, nor will I ever use, an Apple product. Now though, I will never again step foot in an 'Apple store'. I was literally 'swarmed' by salespeople within 30 seconds of entering the store. As soon as the person I was with touched a product, wham, all over us. I despise this kind of overzealous and pushy marketing. If I need your help, I can see you. There are 20 salespeople on the floor. Until then, leave me alone. This is so unnecessary, pushy and even rude sometimes.

Apple airpods do not work properly on a Samsung device. They should not advertise that airpods work on everything. They are designed for apple.products.so this is false advertising.

AirPods Pro stopped working after 1.5 years with a crackling noise in one of them. They have a recall on them but the “genius bar” said my serial number isn’t affected by it, yet exhibiting the exact same symptoms when using noise cancelation. Tried to sell me a single AirPod for $115.00. I guess it’s just a “feature” on the one I got. Biggest scam.

To many workers and not for no apparent reason. I walked in there yesterday in regards to a iphone 11 that I finished paying off contract and motherboard in phone malfunctioned causing the phone to be used useless. The person I spoke to says it's just best to buy a new phone and if you want to inquire info about your personal phone you have to book an appointment. 50 workers just hanging out.

I went to store for in-store pick up, forgot to bring my ID, I did however have photo of my ID just for situation like this, the store associate refused to accept my photo of ID, I then told him to check my Apple Store App which shows my order information, he refused. I asked him if he is able to make a decision to make this time an exception, he said YES but he WILL NOT.

I understand it’s the policy to bring ID, but why not make an exception when you can. 2 days left to Christmas Eve, it’s been snowing hard, why making such a decision that’s difficult for customer who genuinely forgot to bring ID.

What goes around comes around, I hope it doesn’t take Apple to lose market shares to realize human decency is part of brand.

I came with an intention to purchase a MacBook Air (M1-base model) & an Apple Watch SE on 26th Nov at around 11.30am.

I was helped by James. He made me feel very comfortable and ran me over a few essentials details of both the products. Most importantly he was very patient, right from giving me enough time to choose the colour, size and he even helped me pick the accessories!

While making payment, we ran into issues, so we had to call my bank. He gave me privacy and asked me let him know when the bank returned my call (as there was a 20 min wait) He even checked on me once while he attended other customer’s.

Since James was occupied with another customer, Max from their team came to help me. Max was also very patient and reconfirmed each transaction with me.

Most importantly neither did James or Max forced me into buying apple care. They explained the benefits and let me make a decision without guilt.

Thank you so much James and Max for making my experience at Apple so wonderful

There were probably as many store personal as customers, and yet we had to wait 15 mins and observe sales people clumping in groups of three, discussing something instead of just going and helping customers. The least efficient way of pushing products.

Apple really has lost their way. This store is no different from Best Buy where most of what you order isn’t in stock anyways.

The sales associates (“geniuses”) are friendly but are about as useful as the employees at Walmart who babysit self check out systems.

Can’t ship to store, can’t ask for a shipping date - Apple can’t even give an exact date of delivery. As well, associates know nothing of the differences between models (e.g, M1 Max vs. M1 Ultra).

But the biggest disappointment is that the sales associates use the same convoluted web app to place an order as any customer would from home.

I can’t see this business model having long term sustainability no matter how shiny and pretty Apple’s overpriced hardware is.

Edit: spent half an hour trying to get an electronic receipt. Apple sales associates in store are completely clueless and unhelpful. No more I-shinies for me.

I visited the store last week, paid full amount of the price for a MacBook, plus $299 for the Apple care, a total of ~$1,700. During the purchase, Dennis, a young associate, helped us and recommended to buy also an adaptor, for $25. We agreed, went through the list again, paid the full amount, got the devise in a white bag, assuming all is in there. At home, we couldn't find the adaptor. I drove back from Burke Mountain, waited to see Dennis who was in his break for 20 minutes, then I was told that, "no.you didn't buy the adaptor; we thought you didn't want it; sorry for misunderstanding, you can pay $25 and get one". I talked to the manager, Daniel, and said, "being in the business and running a couple of companies, the right way is to just admit being unclear on my purchase and give me the little adaptor (basically just a wire) free of charge". The answer was no. So, I came back home empty handed, after wasting an hour of my time and gas etc. I usually give a very good to excellent rating to the place that I shop. But here, the manager's response to the issue was disappointing. If you forgot to put the wire in the bag, the customer shouldn't be punished. Especially a loyal, long time customer, who just had paid ~ $1,700! I excepted way more than that from a company like Apple, specifically in terms of policies and training their managers to handle issues like that. Thanks.

On Monday I went to get appointment for my iPad that has a crack on it. They told me I still have a apple care so it’s gonna be free. The next day that is Tuesday I went there they said I don’t have apple care they said I have to pay 700$ for a screen while the iPad cost 1,100$. And as you all know and iPad can’t come with an screen protector because then you can’t use apple pen so in my opinion there should be a better deal for this because mostly your screen going to get crack if you cant put screen protector.

Went there waiting 15 minutes to someone come and help me no one showing up, there was a guy with lots of tattoo and white beard, He was flirting with a girl who sat on desk, Asked him to help us but he rudely turned to us and said I’m helping this gentleman and he ignored us, I asked him again call someone to come and help us here. Zero customer service, I asked his there are some old fixed rude people working there for long time. They need to review some customer service e-learning.

Went in today to purchase a Mac mini 512gb with a lightning/USB adapter. The first guy to help me was fantastic and told me that instead of paying all upfront I can do payments. He said he had to go back to his department and would passed me along to another lady who passed me to Jessica.

Jessica has a cute little black lab dog and very sweet lady but was not understanding what I wanted and started to argue with me that the mac mini doesn’t have a lightning port on it on it I could clearly see it and the guy before told me I could get the adapter so I could have 3 USB ports instead of 2. I also wanted to trade in my old phone to put towards it and get a quote. So instead of Jessica getting me my price for payments decides to argue that I don’t need a adapter and started asking me all the questions again when I told her I just wanted to buy the Mac mini with the adapter but she was unable to do that and wanted to argue about the lighting port.

So I thanked her for her time and went to another lady and asked her if she could help me and get prices and she walked me back to Jessica and asked Jessica to do it again and I asked if I could please be helped by another person as she wasn’t understanding what I wanted. She said no and that Jessica was a specialist and would help me. So I told her what I wanted and she asked Jessica to do the pricing on finances and she just stood there. So I asked again if there was someone else who could help me and then Jessica said she felt like it was her and I was being rude and the other lady kept saying I had to be helped with Jessica after asking 5-6 times if someone else could please help me. I wanted to buy the Mac mini and adapter but wanted to see about the monthly finances payment or if I should pay upfront after the trade in of my old phone. I wanted to buy them today, right now and she again said Jessica could do it and she had to explain to Jessica the lighting/USB adapter that’s $25.

I ended up walking out and will buy the Mac mini elsewhere. I have always purchased all my Mac products at the Coquitlam centre Apple store since they opened but this was a horrible experience and I get that Jessica was blind and disabled but she was not able to understand what I wanted and it wasn’t a good fit and I asked to work with someone else and it ended up being a big deal and wasted 10-15 minutes and they lost a sale. All I asked for was to work with another person because Jessica was not able to understand what I wanted and couldn’t get me the quote I wanted or sell me the Mac mini and adapter that I wanted.

I’m at the point of switching all my devices back to PC. Horrible customer service and makes you feel completely uncomfortable when asking for help from another sales rep. I never had an issue here before when making a purchase but she wanted me to deal with Jessica and wouldn’t let anyone else help me and they were not that busy! The store just opened up. I would never recommend buying in store. Just buy online and close the stores

This store is always busy, but thankfully there is an enormous amount of staff available to help out anyone that comes in. Whether you’re browsing, or looking for a new phone, there’s plenty of helpful staff to point you in the right direction or let you check out everything there is to see in the store. Very happy with my service there!

Un qualified stuff and Manger specially Tera, she refused to replace my XR phone which stopped working after software update, and she was very rude, and when I phoned Apple Center through online service, I received a 5 star service and they replaced my phone with new one delivered by mail to my home.

Overall very friendly and welcoming staff here. Very helpful! Today I went in with an annoying AirPod issue that I completely brought on myself and my problem was fixed in about 2 seconds by a technician while I was outside in line. Didn't even need to step foot inside. Thanks a lot to Elnaz! She was super helpful and a pro.

My sister bought my mother a tablet here for a Christmas gift a couple years ago. It recently stopped charging and wouldn't hold any sort of charge. The techs tried to charge it and it would not work. They claimed that if they could charge it long enough to diagnose it they would replace it for free, unfortunately they could not and said there was nothing they could do and offered to sell her a new one for $800. Being a senior she didn't want to buy a new one. Terrible policy from a multi million (or Billion) dollar company. Will never buy another Apple product again!

I went in today to go buy 2 iPhone 11's and the guy helping me was so so rude. His name was Kyle, he refused to keep his distance and I had to remind him multiple times to please keep his mask on. Additionally, when I asked politely for some personal space, Kyle decided to be quite rude and threaten me by telling me that he is Bonnie Henry's son. I don't know what to do with this information but I am uncomfortable and just thought that I would throw out a cautionary PSA letting people know what to expect when going to the Coquitlam apple store.

Typical of apple stores, very few reps know anything about what they sell. Also reps seem not to know about the well documented ribbon cable issues with 2018/2019 MacBook Pros, and want to run pointless hardware checks on it to see if they can bilk the customer out of $1200 for a new logic board. Oh look you have a moisture problem. LED backlights don't simply burn out, it's usually a grounding pin issue - Apple needs to train their employees in hardware and less talking BS to the customer!

I recently had a terrible experience at this location that was exuberated by awful customer service. I had made a special trip from Chilliwack to get a laptop in store, as it was relayed to me by their staff that they had these laptops in stock. After waiting for some time in the store lineup, I was greeted by one of the employees and we were talking about the specs of the laptop and such, when suddenly he says there are no laptops left. The laptops that they assured me were there, were suddenly unavailable. They then told me that I could buy and pick it up downtown Vancouver, and then after the process of almost buying it they tell me that the Vancouver location is actually closed. There was just one roadblock after another. Meanwhile, the staff was not very supportive. We had one person just say "Why didn't you just buy it online.its such a popular item.it sells out fast.it'll come in a few days. "
Well, as a customer I never intended to buy it online if I could just go grab one at a store that is assumed to have it's own product, especially when my online order says that it will arrive in a month. Plus, I wanted the aspect of customer service and to be able to ask certain technical questions about the laptop. It's not exactly a light purchase. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, with very apathetic and aloof staff. Won't be going back to this location.

Was amazing, I went to get my iPad fixed the passcode did not work and the apple technician was able to fix it right away under 6 minutes. Definitely recommend this place.

My very old iPhone (a hand-me-down from my wife) is not working well, short of memory, and can no longer update iOS so I bought a new iPhone SE.interestingly when I entered the Apple Store Coquitlam, BC, Canada for my purchase, I was directed to Jessica, the appointed salesperson. Jessica is blind and even has a guide dog. I was eager to see how this was going to work and it worked great. Jessica had an iPhone adapted for seeing-impaired folks. We discussed options, she answered my questions quickly and competently, gave me the options on features and price, and handled the purchase perfectly. My prejudices were crushed by competence. Bravo Apple…in response I just bought more Apple stock. BTW, also working in the store were a wide variety of ethnic groups, as well as obviously Sikhs and Jews and presumably folks from most other religions…all in apparent harmony. Our ever growing diverse world offers nothing to fear and only amazing opportunities.

I have been an Apple customer since 2006. My last 4 visits to a store have been because of issues with iPhones and iPads.we have 7 devices in total. The 4 visits had the same outcome, we need to get either a refurbished or a new one. Then we walk to one of those small kiosk at the malls and voila, they have fixed all 4 devices.

Please take the one - star reviews to heart and go to another apple store, even if its farther away. I had to go to this store right as it was opening at 10am on October 25th in order to return my laptop. The return was fine, and as I was leaving I caught the eye of a Caucasian female apple employee near the entrance of the store with glasses giving me a funny look. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to leave, but then had to come back shortly after to correct a return process mistake that was showing on my apple account. As I entered the store again the female employee saw me and gave me the same look, and then as I was sorting out the return with a different employee, she and a male employee stood near me and conversed particularly loudly of my appearance. At first I really didnt know how to react, so i just left quickly. I get that its the opening shift and that I came to the store for only a return, but there was really no need to attack my physical appearance like that.

Mismanagement completely. Host girl asked 5 associates for assistance but they all said they are busy while they were doing chitchat with each other. Not a apple fan and these kind of experience in apple stores made my decision even more firm for not buying for myself while I was trying to get 2 phones but then only bought a gift iPhone 13 promax online and a apple mac book online spent almost $7000 but for others as gifts but I will never go to apple stores just for their attitude and arrogance.

The customer service at the Coquitlam Centre Apple Store was horrible, two days ago I met them to fix a sound problem on my iphone 12 pro but instead of that I missed all the information on my iphone which it was about my business, I got so frustrated with this issues that they made for me.
After that when I asked them to return back my information they said you have only two choices, or you have to stay with same sound problem on your phone either you should agree with loosing your information, they did very bad reaction with me, when I asked them return back the staff, they said you have to leave and we can’t help you any more.
It was a nightmare what they did with me

Honestly good manager. Very appreciate for the help. One of the employee made a mistake and he was rushing to get off work. But he tried to fix the mistake by teaching another employee who was on shift about how to get stuff done in a correct way.

Today, I met with Jordan an Apple product specialist. Purchasing the right Apple lab top was very crucial due to the requirements and importance of the task I was going to use it for. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable and very polite and very professional. The amazing factor which sets Jordan apart from many others is that he knows the science behind his elaboration on any performance of the product. He compares the product for you and through questions he asks finds you the perfect product. I honestly say Jordan is a 5 star plus because he takes you to future to find out which product is good for you. Jordan helped me to buy the right Mac air which would also handle better as I move on with my project in future. Than you

Check in time was scheduled at 12: 15, and i got there on time, they don't have my order. Asked me to call online order to see what's wrong with billing. I called and was told nothing wrong with billing, and I could have done this in-store, no need to call them. I'm not sure what was the point of check-in time. Apparently, it was for them to check and see if customer's order was ready or not. They could have just checked with store member, not for me to call some online services.

Although it bothers me that they call themselves geniuses, they do know great customer service! I have always been treated great by the staff and have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes when I make an appointment.

Took my phone in after it starting developing red lines on the screen. After inspecting it it was clear it was of no fault of my own (no liquid damage, and hadn’t been dropped). My warranty had ended two months ago so my only option was to pay for a replacement screen which would be $260 +taxes. I spoke with the manager Wyatt and he was of no help. He kept repeating that my only option was to pay to have to fixed and that even though it wasn’t my fault there was nothing else he could do to help.

This is a $1000 phone and it suddenly has internal malfunctioning 2 months after my warranty ends due to no fault of my own.seems suspicious.

Worst service anyone can expect from Apple. Brought my phone X as camera stopped working. After waiting for 1 hour they said they can't fix it neither they can replace it. Only option they had to send it to their depot. When I asked I need phone urgently then Best solution Manger offered is it BUY a new iPhone. Thanks Apple for the solution.

Have bought all my Apple stuff from here over the years (MBP, iPhones and iPads for the whole family, and etc). Most recently the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro 12.9” for me.

Can’t complain about the products, extremely satisfied always thus why I keep coming back (self proclaimed iSheep here, lol). The only constructive feedback would be to ask staff to be less stingy with the Apple bags (they are a thing of beauty).

I’ve come in at times to buy something small like a silicone case which still ends up being $78 after tax and when asking if I can get a bag I’ve often received we don’t have ones that small or we are low in stock if you don’t mind taking it as is.

I get if I was asking for extra to take home or something but just the one to put the product I’m buying inside. My most recent visit was for issues with my AirPods Pro with Apple care. They were handled extremely well and after thorough testing they were replaced. No complaints on service from staff or products overall. Just don’t be awkward on the bag when a customer is spending thousands of dollars or even $78, it should be a given.

There is more security personnel here than at Fort Knox. Seriously, a bank doesn't have this kind of security. Three outside + one employee. Many more inside. What are they afraid of? Someone snatching a bogus device already linked with a chain to the desk? Doesn't feel right. Then no offence but why do they have so many 'GENIUSES' working for them? Maybe Genies would be more appropriate?

Awful store! I live in Coquitlam but would rather go to metropolis to shop from apple. I Went there to buy a phone would not let me see the colors for 30 seconds
I was already IN THE STORE ready to pay for the phone. They said if you want to see the colors you have to make a appointment. Metropolis was so helpful

This Apple store is ideally located on the main floor of the shopping mall. What I liked the most is their management of visitors during COVID time. I ordered online and went to store for pickup. Pickup process was simple and they handed over me the phone outside the store in a designated area.

Apple stores usually have amazing customer service, but the last two times i went it was not the case. Threw months ago when i went, the person asked everyone inbline what they needed except me.and i was the only visible asian in line. And this time I went the person was just very very abrupt and rude, i asked if he could show me what a charger looked like (the dual mag lock charger) and he was just like, "there is nothing i can show you, you either buy it or you dont". I mean i really needed a charger so i didnt just turn sround and leave. But honestly.

Usually go there when there is a problem I cannot solve it myself but overall good process for customer service, agents are easy to access and willing to help.
