Apple Farm Market

AFM has been my go-to for fresh fruits and veggies for years. However it appears ownership has changed hands, and they're "gentrifying" what was essentially a friendly little corner produce stand. It's almost more of a Dan D Pack store now. There isn't as deep a selection of fresh fruits and veggies and it appears they've expanded the freezer section. Can't say I'm impressed so far, in fact a little disappointed.

For 6 years, Apple Farm has been a staple for my everyday grocery shopping. They always have the best produce, by far, and they have all the necessities at great prices. The folks who work at Apple are absolute gems as well.

They have a great selection of high quality produce, often including local items and things I can't find elsewhere. Prices are super competitive, especially given the quality. Their dry goods offer a well curated mixture of North American and Asian items. So much more variety than the big grocery stores.

Wonderful little grocery in Kits. Excellent selection of products, both Asian and European, plus fresh produce. Friendly people too. I would much rather shop here than in the Safeway or Whole Foods across the street.

Pros: Excellent grocery store. This is my favourite store in the area for produce especially - great prices and local selection! Everyone is super friendly as well.

Cons: It is a smaller space so it can get busy at peak hours. Also, they don’t have all the processed food option that you’d find at bigger stores but for the most part I can find everything I need here.

Their local produce is fantastic. Also they consistently get produce not effected by recalls. Friendly staff.

Great selection of produce and assorted refrigerator selection, even found corn tortillas. Great place have visited multiple times and will continue to.

This is our favourite produce and grocery store. We shop here once a week for fresh, good quality produce, and the odd grocery item. The selection is always amazing and the staff are both helpful and friendly. This is such a staple hub for the neighbourhood!

Great supermarket! Friendly services staffs/cashiers. Items is reasonably fair and not bad selections.

I got a 'To Good to Go' app' haul of goodies, awesome value for money and a great range of still fresh locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Albeit mostly full of onions, there was some good variety of produce veggies and fruits. Where any packaging was used, was fully compostable which is rad.

I love this grocery store. The selection is surprisingly diverse (produce! Dry goods! Frozen goods! Tofu and some other proteins!), the produce is always fresh, and the prices are reasonable. But the best thing about this place is the people that work there, who are incredibly warm and friendly. Especially during this last year, when Apple Farm Market was often one of the only places I'd be leaving my house to go to. Thank you for all you do!

This is my favourite place to shop for groceries. Great selection and prices and the people that work there are so friendly. My three year old loves the lady that works on the cashier on the west side of the store. She always makes a big deal of how helpful he is. We drive out of our way to shop here and so should you!

Produce is beauty and so much cheaper than other places. They even have cosmic crisp apples. Lots of tofu too and fun specialty items.

Best little food market in Kitsilano. Has everything you'll need to whip up a delicious home meal.

Apple Farm Market is our favourite local veg store. With great and very friendly service they have everything we need (even firm, fresh horseradish!) and great extras too. I couldn't find decent pepperoncini at Safeway - but no surprise - Apple Farm Market had a great selection. I go out of my to come here and it's worth it.

How do ya' like them apples? I like them the way they have em’ at the Apple Farm Market. They be fresh n’ crispy my dudes.and dudettes. But no cap the place is nice and I enjoy shopping there.

I just want to know that when I (and everyone) shops at your store, the fruit/veg will be put on the scale and no one will push down on the items to possibly change the weight. I just want accuracy and honesty. Your produce is great and is the reason I have been shopping at your store and I would like to continue to be a regular customer.

I have really enjoyed shopping at Apple Farm Market and find the produce to be good. Today however, I noticed that when the cashier put the veg/fruit on the scale, she would push on them then hit the button on the cash register. When I came home and reweighed the produce I bought, I noticed that the weights I got were all a little lower than what my bill said the veg/fruit weighed. I will definitely go back but I will be more mindful and watchful of this next time I shop. A definite disappointment. Possibly just a mistake of a new cashier?

A friendly cashier, maybe she’s the owner. Fresh quality organic vegetables, a variety of organic food products. Good selection. About price, found no deals or bargains like in my regular farm shop.

This is a great place to get your fresh fruit and vegetables. There is a great selection of both. I should mention that the staff are very helpful and also very nice.

Great produce! Also cheaper than Safeway. There's vanilla extract for a pretty great price at the counter.

Very friendly cashiers, always greet you with a smile. Fruit and veg is super fresh! I shop there mim 4 times a week!

Pleaseee bring some more Asian products i e
herbs like rau ram, sawtooth, fresh galangal, calamansi, long beans (snake beans) etc and improve your breads selection.
