I got a facebook promo oil change for a really good deal, was not what the catch is (usually extra charges or upsell extra services) but was pleasantly surprised that' s not thr case. Very friendly crew (Deepak) and the service was fast. Great coffee too! Will do it there again!

They do not respect the time of the client, namely Pravneet Chilana!
In three days, I agreed with Pravneet Chilana to view a used car, in the evening I told him that I will come tomorrow (2023-08-12) for viewing, I wrote to him again in the morning that I will come.
As a result, I traveled from Chilliwack, spent a lot of my free time on a day off, arrived at the Applewood Mitcubishi Richmond car dealership, met with Pravneet Chilana and he tells me that you can see it, but there is already a deposit for the purchase on it. Why couldn't he tell us this before? Why did we have to spend half a day to hear from him that this car already has a deposit? This is unprofessional, irresponsible and disrespectful to customers!

We loved our experience with Applewood Mitsubishi, and Arjan and his team in particular. Arjan was thoughtful, responsive, and straightforward. He made sure we really knew what we were buying and how best to use it. We’re delighted with our new Outlander PHEV and will definitely go back next time we buy a car.

I have a very bad experience with their service department. They misdiagnosed my car and refused to refund in full and told me to file a claim with rodent dropping without providing photos as proof. A salesperson then called me to trade in my car and use my full payment as the deposit towards a new car. This all feels like a set up. I will avoid them at all cost.

Mitchell and Jacob over in Service dept.hands down the best and if your reading this Mitsubishi these two deserves a raise:) Very helpful. See you in 5 months for my next service.

Sorry in advance, this is the first online review I have ever done. I definitely think it is overly wordy.

I had an experience last week that was strange and frustrating. I am happy to say that thanks to 2 gentleman in particular at Applewood Mitsubishi I got through it relatively unscathed.

I’ll give everyone the short (ish) version. Essentially after an extended time away from my family I arrived at Vancouver airport only to find the second leg of my journey to Comox valley would be delayed. My car would not start and I had to have it towed to the nearest Mitsubishi dealership.
This happened to be Applewood Mitsubishi. I had never been there before and since it was late at night I left a message explaining why this unknown car was now at their dealership. First thing the morning I received a phone call from the general manager Ricardo, he expressed empathy for my situation and said he would do everything thing in his power to help me out. At the time I just assumed it was the basic script but soon found out what above and beyond means. Ricardo also explain to me that there had been an update to their readers and they were dealing with some difficulties with certain models (of course that’s me). Shortly after our phone call I received another phone call from a gentleman by the name of Deepak from the service department. Deepak also went above and beyond with regards to my situation. He told me the issue was small but again the update was causing issues. He continued to call me every 1-2 hours just to check in, even if there wasn’t any movement on my car. I believe he just wanted to make sure I didn’t feel like I slipped through the cracks.
The day went on and through out our conversations I asked Deepak if he thought the issue would be resolved that day, he wasn’t optimistic. I would be sleeping on a couch and not seeing my family for another night. What I didn’t know is that Ricardo was also hard at work. From my understanding he personally drove to different dealership to borrow a reader that might work. Sadly that reader also began to have issues so I was still with out my car. At this point I guess he got on the phone and worked out a tow to a different service centre that hadn’t been effected by the update yet.
The car arrived after the service centre had closed but Lehman (another hero in this story) stayed late and was able to get my car up and running.

If this is the service and care Applewood Mitsubishi is willing to go to for a complete stranger I can only imagine what they would go through for a valued customers. Thank you again

We purchased a car (our first Mitsubishi) from this place after owning a Lexus for a long time. The car has been breaking after 3 years. Also the customer service is awful. Do not buy Mitsubishi and avoid this place. Absolute shame!

From my experience with Applewood Mitsubishi and Arjan, I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car. The dealership itself was clean and well-organized, and the staff was welcoming and helpful.

Arjan, in particular, was an outstanding salesman. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles and patient with all of my questions and concerns. He didn't push me to buy anything I wasn't interested in and was very respectful of my budget.

Arjan was also very responsive and communicative throughout the entire car buying process. He made sure to keep me updated on the status of my purchase and was always available to answer any additional questions I had.

Overall, my experience with Applewood Mitsubishi and Arjan was excellent. I would definitely recommend this dealership and salesperson to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I bought a used vehicle from this dealership earlier this year, and from the sales rep to servicing everything has been a headache with these guys. The sales rep (Michael) didn't respond to any concerns post-purchase, offloading all inquiries to the service dept. Less than 24 hours from purchase the car had an issue that has taken months to resolve (literally -I bought it in June and it's still not resolved). Their only shining light is Ricardo, the manager, holding true to his word on resolving the issue which I respect, as well as a friendly service department.

Applewood Mitsubishi deserved the great name and reputation of "Mitsubishi" I have known for many years.

Tat, the manager, ensured that Mitsi - my very first Mitsubishi Vehicle in Canada - get the best Mitsubishi High Quality service.

Sadly a Mitsubishi dealership in Surrey gave me the worst service in all my experience as a motorist.

Incredible service here! Angus was very patient and understanding with my whole family when we went. He and his manager fought hard to give us the best rates, and even when we decided to ask for our deposit back after a change of heart, they were gracious and made no fuss.

The service here is excellent. This location has some rare gems, I don't live in BC but these guys were able to help me out, getting the car I wanted. I would highly recommend Gary Ho. Bought an outlander today from Eric at the Richmond Auto Mall. It usually takes my husband months to decide on a car make/model. Eric was very informative on fuel efficient vehicles and helped us arrive at a car that was right for our family. Eric’s demeanour is calm and adaptable. We ended up keeping the dealership open later than regular business hours and staff were pleasant despite the deal closing so late into a weeknight! Eric took the time to explain everything and make us feel comfortable. We actually checked out another dealership in GVRD but decided to come back to Eric and richmond applewood because of the great customer service! I recommend going to Richmond applewood and talking to Eric.

Had a good experience here. Sonny was very helpful. Good follow through on all promises made. Staff took concerns seriously and addressed them when possible. Did their best to make sure I was happy. On the character side of sales, I think this location is great. Most importantly, when our salesman was unsure of the answer, he went and found the honest answer instead of saying whatever was necessary to make a sale. This is the most important characteristic of any dealership, so my gripes below are minor.

The organizational side of things could use improvement. For example, the showroom is small, which makes it hard to know the inventory available, as it contains only 5 cars (though there is over 100 at the dealership, they are hidden). It makes for effective sales by reducing choice paralysis, but available options for trims and colours were not presented effectively. In retrospect I should have asked more questions about the inventory available, but receiving answers took a very long time.

Regardless, I strongly recommend shopping here if you are interested in a Mitsubishi. They are the least predatory dealership I've seen. This is a huge plus.

Popped into applewood Mitsubishi on Saturday 22nd of June. Was greeted by a salesman by the name of Sonny. I had one particular car in mind that I wanted to view, however it was well out of my budget. I explained this to sonny and he said he would try his best to help me out. Long story short, after maybe 1.5hrs I was driving that very car out of the lot and for not one cent more than my budget. I was probably his most stubborn client to date as I would not budge on my budget so a big thanks to sonny for making it happen. Great experience. Highly recommend this place and also sonny as a salesman to work with. 5/5

We arrived at the Mitsubishi dealership and were welcomed by Gary Ho, who asked us what we needed in a vehicle and found us one to test drive. Both Gary and the Manager were extremely attentive and friendly and the whole process was very straightforward and easy. I am now driving around I’m my Mitsubishi Outlander and loving it!

The folks at Applewood went above and beyond to help me find the best deal while searching for my new vehicle. They were friendly and easy to work with and did their best to help sort out the logistics of the delivery of my vehicle. They diligently followed proper COVID precautions during our face to face interactions.

Was helped by eric who helped me get my first ever car. Car was in decent shape and was able to leave that day. After bidding war with Eric I was able to get the price down along with oil for life and the vap for free as well as getting the seat cover removed and replaced. I would definitely recommend here if your looking to get a new car and to use eric he seems real close to the manager and looks likes he is able to get you a good deal for the price your looking at.

My initial salesman Eric was great. I bought a used 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback. He knew about the car and was very thorough and informative.i paid cash for the car. After we agreed on price it went downhill. They sent me to finance. They only had one person on staff and it took almost 30 minutes to see her. The women was pushy at every point. I had to tell her four times I did not want to finance the car after I had agreed on a cash payment.i had to tell her three times I did not want to buy an extended warranty. After driving to the bank and getting the draft I had to wait 25 minutes to see her again. Upon seeing her it took one signature and a total of 2 minutes. We then waited 45 minutes for transfer and insurance They finally walked us to the Hub insurance office next door to do the fifteen minutes of paperwork. In summary, i waited around 2 hours to hand them my money which took two minutes and then had to go somewhere else to do the remainder of paperwork.

Service was top Notch, Eric made it a smooth and easy process before and after the sale. All my questions were answered quickly and honestly.

I have recently purchased my Leaf from applewood mitsubishi. Jake Hammersley was the sales professional I’ve dealt with. He was able to get me the best price for my trade in. Update: Ricardo GM of Applewood Mitsubishi have done outstanding job. He was able to deal with very angry costumer (Me) during miscommunication situation. Find another car in very short time, same model but with bunch of extra features and kept his word on on the deal.

I would highly recommend to deal with Ricardo.
Make sure all aspects of deals are talked thru and both parties are on same page.

Worst experience to deal with car dealer. Stay away if you can.
My wife and I where looking at Mitsubishi outlander PHEV at that dealership and decide to purchase that car. But i have told sales person (Arjan) that i am waiting for car loan approval and i should get confirmation on Monday. After a settling on price with GM Ricardo, i was asked to leave a refundable deposit of $300 to keep a car till i will get loan sorted out. Which i did. Next day i receive a call from Arjan who is informing me that another sales guy bringing another client to see a car and if i want it i need to put 2000 none refundable deposit and car would not be sold to another person. I have told Arjan that i need to talk with my wife and financial adviser and that i will call back. After 5-10 min i have call sales guy back but he did not answered a call. I left massage on his voice mail to call me back. He called me back only around 7 pm to inform me that car has been sold by another sales person, which made me mad because i have left $300 deposit to keep a car till Monday. I have asked to talk to GM Ricardo but I was told hat he is already left and that he will call me back on Sunday. Today is Tuesday November 10th and still no calls from that dealership except a financial leady to return my deposit.

Stay away from them if still decided to buy don't believe what they say when it comes to deposits. Gleb

Great place to buy a car. Jason was great and super helpful. I did my research and went to almost every other mitsubishi dealership locally but found them all to be very pushy to sell their cars. Jason listened to our needs and helped us find the car we needed not what he wanted to sell. Will highly recommend Applewood mitsubishi.

We were looking for a reliable, low mileage car, and thanks to Jake Hammersley and his amazing customer service and professionalism, we bought the car the next day. Jake was very knowledgeable about the car features and was able to get us a good deal on the final price. I’d definitely recommend this car dealership (ask for Jake if you want outstanding service).

I went for oil change and check ups on 11/7/2020. My car has a starter problem, the car doesn't start. I have to try turning the key few times to get the car started. This is not a regular issue, happens once in a while. I discussed with the Mitsubishi Service person about this problem. Also told that I reported this problem, when I went to service centers in Mitsubishi Burnaby/Surrey. He said it looks like a starter problem, If I can provide a proof of the testing done by Burnaby/Surrey centers then I can claim warranty on the starter.

Today he was able to replicate the problem, but came with an explanation that this is not covered by warranty. He said the starter has to be changed. I got perplexed with his explanation. Because few minutes back he said this is covered by warranty and then when he can actually replicate the problem, he said it is not covered by warranty. Came with a bizarre explanation to justify his point.

My experience is not so good with Mitsubishi, one thing we have to keep in mind, whatever problem comes in car, we should be ready to pay and not expect warranty will be honored.

Note: I have done the service to my car only with Mitsubishi dealers until now, but may not be here after.

I was looking for a Tesla and spoke on the phone with Gary Ho several times before meeting him at the dealership. He was most pleasant, and initially we sat in my "new car to be" as he patiently explained for 15 or 20 minutes all about the various options on the vehicle. We then took a test drive [him driving and then me] and returned to the dealership. We struck a deal which I believe to be fair and then they arranged for the ICBC for change of ownership etc.on the spot. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience and would prefer anybody to them without any hesitation.

Went in 2 weeks ago to fix my tire for my 2018 Outlander, which I learned shortly after was under warranty (Winning). While waiting I was talking with the Sales Manager Tiago, about the 2020 PHEV outlander and all the current rebates. Test drove the PHEV GT; and I bought in 2 hours later. Amazing staff and service, never felt pushed and rushed. Highly recommend them.
