Brought my 5 year old corgi here for land rehab and water treadmill as he has a partial tear in his knee ligament. Jordana did a wonderful job with his exercises as well as showing me how to do them wit him at home. Unfortunately I couldn’t complete the 12 week program (we completed 6 weeks) as my finances changed but there was so much improvement in my dog’s health. I highly recommend working with their professional and friendly team!

My Maltese dog, Loklok, injured his hind leg and was referred to Aqua Paws after his surgery for hydrotherapy and rehab. The staff at Aqua Paws are all very friendly and professional. Thanks to their help, Loklok is making great progress in recovery!

I first brought my rescue pup, Rosie, for swimming lessons before quarantine started in March. Background on my baby.she’s from Mexico and has trust issues with anyone she hasn’t met yet and especially men. Her first swimming lesson I was nervous she wouldn’t react well to someone else handling her but Jacqueline is such an amazing trainer with such a calm demeanor that Rosie was so behaved! We started taking her once week to fitcare this month and she’s been doing so well. I’m so happy with everyone at Aquapaws and so thankful that they give rosie a safe and controlled environment for her to socialize with other doggies all day. She comes home tired but happy every time! Thank you everyone at Aquapaws:)

I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

My Lucky suffered from severe arthritis and he had difficulties standing and walking. Lucky also lost a lot of muscle mass. I started taking Lucky to Aquapaws for hydrotherapy sessions after talking to his vet.

The center is conveniently located with ample parking at the back. It is clean, quiet, tastefully furnished and the lay-out is well thought-out. It even has a room to blow-dry and towel off (blow-dryer and fluffy towels provided) your pet after the swim. The pool has a viewing deck where guardians/family can watch and encourage their pet. The 30-minute sessions were one-on-one and private.

The first session was an hour long and it started with Jacqueline doing an indepth assessment on land and then, in the pool. Jacqueline was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what Lucky was going through and what he needed. Jacqueline worked with Aga, another therapist, in the pool and both worked together to design a plan that would make Lucky feel better as he did not like to be handled at all. Jacqueline's knowledge and Aga's gentleness, patience and tenderness with Lucky made me feel we came to the right place.

Lucky was able to sleep better and he could stand and walk on his own for longer periods of time. Lucky's gait improved and he was able to raise his head higher. Because of these results, I continued to take Lucky for weekly 30-minute sessions and they were reasonably priced. Both Aga and Jacqueline were excited with Lucky's results and constantly fine-tune the sessions to suit Lucky's needs.

Lucky passed away on December 21,2018, one month shy of his 15th birthday. My only regret is not bringing Lucky to Aquapaws earlier.

I am writing to express my gratitude to Jacqueline and Aga who helped to make Lucky's life better. It is such a blessing to have a place like this in Vancouver that is results-oriented and is only interested in improving the health of dogs.

A wonderful facility that focuses on the overall well-being of dogs! All staff members that I have encountered were kind and you can tell, truly love dogs. They have a circuit to help them drain their mental energy and an absolutely amazing pool! We used to go there for the daycare and went for their reactive dog swim where my dog had an absolute blast (the half hour goes by so quickly when you see them having so much fun swimming!) Unfortunately we moved out of the area so we haven’t been there recently but if we get a chance, we will definitely be back for the swims!

Brought my shy and reactive dog here for socialization. I was nervous about how he would do but was communicated with wonderfully about his issues and intake. He went for an intro and thanks to experiance and knowledge of the staff who set him up for success, he made a new friend the first day and did great! They know what they're doing here. This week of walks since his first visit, he's been so calm around other dogs it seems like a miracle. Will continue weekly visits here. So happy to have these folks around.
