I highly suggest everyone who visit the Vancouver area to take the Aquabus.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. The owners are downright, spectacular!
I inadvertently purchased round trip tickets for a large group when I only needed 2.
I didn’t expect Margot to go out of her way to get me a refund; It wasn’t easy for her.
I feel really happy Aquabus treated my family. This company is hands down, the best customer service I have experienced in the last decade. Go ride Aquabus and if your looking for a great experience.
I highly recommend the aqua bus to Vancouver residents and tourists alike. All of the staff are super friendly and the boats are spacious and clean. I’ve had a couple horrifying experiences with the False Creek Ferries, but the people over at Aquabus ended up saving the day on both occasions. Overall, just great vibes with aquabus!
Perfect way you experience Vancouver! On our first day here we took this water bus along False Creek. This is a beautiful was to see and experience the city - fantastic views of the waterfront areas and of the city skyline. It’s a fun way to get around, especially on a sunny day.
Friendly service. Check fare boards before hopping on and consider your trip. Round trips get a bit of a discount. Easy payment on board with credit card.
The aqua bus is a great experience. When friends visit our beautful city one of their highlights is taking the aquabus, and enjoying the ride and beautful surroundings. The staff are always professional, super friendly and helpful. Great customer service!
After a great day at Granville Island I planned to have dinner at sunset beach. I went to the Aquabus stop and the operator remembered me and asked if I was returning to the same dock. I replied NO I need to go to west sunset beach and am looking for the correct boat to take. Operator then said that his boat was it and to hop on. Hopped on and paid the fee and was takin to the next stop, my original departure stop and told to exit. I told the operator that I needed sunset beach not the city side to which he replied this is the only stop and returns to Granville the boat only goes back and forth. I got off the boat upset and asked why he told me to get on his boat, I had recently had surgery and suffer from a personal issue and unable to walk easily. The operator replied it's just a 10 minute walk while laughing, also said it's not his responsibility that I should do my research and know what ferries to take. He then told me the ferry company I should have been on! And the correct stop it would have takin me to! I was so upset since not only did he get me on his boat he knew the correct boat I should have been on! Laughing it off the whole time he shared how I needed to do my research to the other guests too. Laughing and grinning reduntently repeating "do your research" I limped up to the road and took a taxi the rest of the way. I guess don't ask the operator for information on the company he works for. Do your research or else you will get left on the side of a dock without care and laughed at. Do better Aquabus!
It's a great way to get around from place to place on the waterway in Vancouver. Relatively inexpensive way to sightsee from a boat while going to various spots of interest. Operating staff are polite and helpful in responding to queries. I would definitely use this method of transportation again.
Enjoy a nice cruise time with aqua bus in Granville island. You can pay by credit card and it’s very nice in a sunny day. It’s not crowded and you can buy tickets depending on your destination including return tickets. Make your camera ready to take excellent photos that will last in your memory for long time.
Would highly recommend as part of Vancouver trip. Do this on those days were you are little tired and have fun on the cruise. Take return from 3-4 locations. Totally worth it.
