Arc’teryx North Vancouver Outlet

I bought a piece of clothing for a friend, took out my phone to take pictures, and was kicked out. This is the first time I heard that Canada has such regulations.

TRÈS TRÈS MECONTENTS car nous sommes chez nous depuis ce matin et y compris à 13h13 et je n’ai reçu ni appel ni sonnerie du livreur … aussi arrêtez d’utiliser UPS en FRANCE qui ne souhaite visiblement pas livrer vos colis chez nous (cela fait 2 fois déjà). Ils le font régulièrement, sans prendre la peine de réellement descendre de leur camion.
Je ne passerai de nouvelles commandes chez vous qu’à cette condition et ne vais pas hésiter à faire un retour très négatif sur vos process et choix de partenaire dès maintenant!

Regrettablement une dernière tentative a été faite il y a 10 minutes à 13: 13 et ils ont trouvé personne. Dans ce cas le colis sera retourné à l'entrepot. On est vraiment désolés pour ce désagrément. Pour des raisons logistiques on peut pas renvoyer les commandes. Si vous voulez vous pouvez repasser la commande après le remboursement.

SUITE et FIN: Message reçu de PAYPAL le 02/01, mais pas de votre site ecommerce depuis le litige de mi-décembre, m'indiquant qu'un colis était en fait disponible en magasin-relais UPS jusqu'au 01/01? Je ne vous remercie pas pour cette info qui semble périmée.
. Et UPS étant réellement INEFFICACE en France, le colis était encore disponible le 3/01! Dont acte. Je solde ce litige en regrettant votre service totalement en dessous de toute attente ;- (

Prices weren’t as great as I thought, but the selection was pretty good for an outlet and I did find a really nice jacket at a discounted price. Was hoping for a few more colour selections and even better pricing.

The store is small and the sizing available is somewhat spotty. Stick to the regular stores if you can.

Firstly the stuff that’s sold there is clearance or not sold in the Normal stores, outlet specific items, odd colors and patterns that were never sold at regular stores! Secondly no sizes are depleted, prices are not significant. Final word you would definitely need some luck to find something decent but if all you want is to sport the brand pay them a visit. Junk

Love the store and most of the staff were very helpful. One young man stopped me from FaceTiming with my son who was trying to choose a jacket for his birthday. Employee said “there is no video recording “ so I wasn’t able to complete my conversation about which jacket he preferred. Even after getting clearer with the employee that I wasn’t “recording” the store, he defended himself which was a bit disconcerting. He said it was a privacy issue that people don’t want to be videotaped. I wasn’t videotaping other customers, I was showing product to help my son make a purchasing decision. The manager needs to talk to their staff and get clear on what is allowed. After he told me it was a “privacy” issue, I said no, in all likelihood, it is a “competition “ issue, you need to pay attention to your customers who are on the phone to get an understanding of what they are doing. I don’t know how often this happens but there was another customer doing the same thing. Stopping customers who are getting clear with someone on the prospective styles and colours they are looking at, will probably affecting the bottom line in the long run.

Please keep in mind, this is an OUTLET. I hadn't been here in years so I had no expectations, and therefore wasn't disappointed. The service was EXCEPTIONAL, however the inventory was sadly lacking. There was absolutely nothing in my size. A quiet look behind closed inventory doors showed alot of merchandise, but likely not for current distribution. Sadly, my future purchases will be made (if at all) in retail storefronts.

Good place to step by and shop around if you are size up person. Non of them come with size m or size s.all starting with size l or xl xxl

Great customer service, amazing discounted price. Make sure you get there early as there are often shortage of sizes.

Horrible service, staff would just stand there and stare at you. Cashier seemed completely miserable and wouldn’t say one extra word or even greet you. We purchased thousand dollars worth of clothing and they just slides the clothes on the table towards us without even asking if we want a bag.

Very bad selection - all the good items that have only XL/XXL stock. No stock of any of the popular, good items

I went to Arcteryx outlet in North Vancouver with my wife today for returning 2 jackets I bought last week, but was informed all the purchases are final sale, I didn’t say anything and just walked away from the counter. After that, I picked some new items and tried to pay for them before an employee named Jenn Mar approached to me and repeated the no return policy again with a dramatic tone and body language which made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable, also my wife who is pregnant for 8 months felt we were being discriminated. In addition, when I tried to explain the reason I bring those 2 jacket to return is I purchased another jacket few months ago and I remember it was 14 days return policy, but Jenn emphasized there is never a 14 days return policy and made me feel I was lying. (fortunately, I found the receipt that says 14 days return is available for outlet store back in February this year) Therefore, I rise my voice a very little. Suddenly, Jenn said she is going to call a manager because I yelled. Few minutes later, the manager Brandon Hilton came out from the back and asked me what happened before I explained to him the entire incident. However, after I finished my explanation, Brandon informed me and my wife that I can’t make any purchases as I am being disrespectful to his employee. At that moment, my wife felt even more frustrated since both of us felt we are the one being treated disrespectful and being discriminated at the first place, plus the manager handled the issue rudely without saying anything (just asked me and my wife to leave the store) or either investigated through camera or asked Jenn again for a better understanding of the whole incident. Therefore, firstly me and my wife felt we are being discriminated and the manager handled the issue so rude and unskillful by just asked us to leave the store. After we left the store, I tried to bring my wife to another shopping mall, however she told me she is scared to go any else stores because she is afraid of being discriminated again. This is the first time we are being discriminated after we came to Canada since 2019 and can’t believe this happened on us in a Arcteryx store.

Good store but staff is not very friendly. You talk to them and as you speak to them they are on their phone, and they seem bother when you ask them a question.

They have a decent selection though they are short on shoes.

Staff was great. The outlet feels a bit small. Unlike the sizes of their clothing that are mostly XL XXL. If you wear those sizes you should definitely check this outlet out. Some pieces were 150/200$ off the original price. I haven't checked the woman section, so I'm not sure if the lack of Small and Medium sizes is the same there too.

No longer do warranty assessments in store, aftercare support has been replaced with take photos and start an online support ticket.

Purchased a pair of pants. The store has limited selection as it’s last seasons or left over stock IMO, “second”sticker tagged that may have a stain or flaw of some sort. It’s final sales for your purchases. Two change rooms. Savings of 40%+ and upwards for most items. Small selections of backpacks, couple of hats and shoes. The clothes which I saw were made of polyester, I prefer wool.

I went the store to buy a cloth as a present for Father’s Day. I shopped around but didn’t buy anything eventually because the store staff told me that all products in the store are final sales, no refund, neither does exchange. The policy is so difficult for people to buy anything for someone else.

Got some great deals, if your either tiny or giant sized. Average ppl are just wasting time going thru every rack but end up empty handed or having to settle for 2 size up.

Unprofessional. In early October 2021, I have sent them a jacket with a small issue covered by their warranty. A couple of times in the last 5+ months I've contacted them with regards to the status of the repair and they had claimed they did not have my shipping address, asking me to update it. Finally, yesterday I went there in person only to find out that again they lost my shipping address. I asked if I could pick the jacket up in person. It was not an option as the jacket was not even ready.

Limited number of staff members however if you can catch one they will do their best to help you. Very friendly service. Remember people, this is a factory/outlet store. Size and style are limited. But if you can find one you like, the price is mind blowing. Even cheaper than their own arc’teryx outlets website. Some of the products have minor flaws but never a functional flaw, always cosmetic. Best part is, if you are lucky, you can buy some of the pro exclusive products here.

We visited during Covid time, so waiting time was long (about 25 to 40 minutes)

Limited capacity in store, so I waited in line about half an hour (11: 30 Friday). Many of the women's jackets were either small or extra large. More men's items in store than women's. Helpful staff.

I love this specific store. Obviously, you get some great deals you would never get at a regular Arc'teryx branch (being an outlet and all) but the reason I like this place is that the staff are always friendly and helpful and that the fitting rooms are very spacious and nice to use.
Highly recommend this.

The store limits the number of people to a ridiculous low number which has nothing to do with COVID to kept people waiting outside of the store…

3 scam robo callers in a row. The robo caller that says warrant out for my arrest from cra.blah blah blah. Called the numbers back, goes directly to this company (voice-mail came on right away). Not impressed.

Clean and helpful staff. Adheres to COVID procedures. Prices are about 30% off. Loads of parking and just off of the bridge so no real traffic to worry about.
