I used this company to redo lighting in my kitchen and both bedrooms, having no idea what would look good in my place they showed me previous work they had done and help me pick out modern low cost lighting, they where very fast, efficient, and did amazing work, very professional guys, I would HIGHLY recommend using these guys.

I had arcwest come and run power to a sauna. Alan was great to work with, very responsive to my questions and patient as I navigated the process with my strata. Once I had approvals, he made sure to have someone out within the week! The work was professional and he cleaned up any mess made during the installation. Andrew, Alan and Mac did an outstanding job on our renovation. We had them install a new electrical panel, redo all the lighting, switches and outlets for our renovation and installed our security system. We used ArcwestElectric for a recent kitchen light & dining room light swap out. One of the previous fixtures suddenly stopped working, so we were concerned that there was a wiring issue, hence reaching out to a professional electrician/company.

Andrew (through initial correspondence) & Alan (who did the actual fixture changes) were both great! Great pricing, fit us in with very little notice, Alan left our home tidy once the job was completed, plus he ensured us that the wiring was 'safe' which was our main concern.

We contacted Arcwest Electric to help repair a broken electric heater baseboard. Al and his team were very responsive, had someone come out the next day which we appreciated, communication was great and price was fair! They replaced the heater and followed up to check how everything was working and even came back promptly a second time when we realized that the thermostat that was installed was not as user friendly as we had hoped. They replaced it, made sure all worked well.

I was provided Arc West's contact details from another electrician, as we were in the market to do a service upgrade (from 100A to 200A), plus an EV charger installation, and I was told that brothers Andrew and Al were specialists in service upgrades.

From the moment I reached out, both Andrew and Al were extremely responsive, friendly, professional and detailed in all of their communications. They came out to our Vancouver Special home in East Van a couple of times to scope out our specific situation prior to quoting on the job, and provided a lot of great detail to me on what to expect and what issues may arise as we went through the service upgrade.

They looped me into communications with BC Hydro, which I appreciated, as our specific connection was a bit tricky due to code changes since the time when our home was first built (1981), which meant that ours was not a straightforward service upgrade. Our project was a bit delayed because it takes about 1 week for BC Hydro to respond to email questions to their design team, so each response added a week to the job - Arc West was super patient with me as I had a ton of questions and wanted to make sure we looked at every angle before having to proceed with installing a private hydro pole in our yard, which is what we ended up having to do, due to BC Hydro direction.

All in all, the team did a wonderful, clean job on the install, and worked with me to try and minimize the disruptions to our property and our life. We now have a new panel, new 200A service and a new EV charger, all done neat, tidy and working perfectly. Plus they even cleaned up after the work was completed, vacuuming and mopping our floors too:)

At times in the past, as a female, working with outside trades and technicians has proved challenging as I have had dismissive attitudes and unhelpful advice, however Andrew and Al at Arc West were absolutely some of the nicest and most genuine trades I've dealt with thus far, they have definitely earned my trust.

Arcwest recently replaced my electrical panel. From the quote to the installation, everything was done in a timely manner. They provided details on when they would start and how long the job would take. The price was very fair. The electrical inspector commented on how high their quality of work was. Quick, efficient and helpful service. We had an annoying beep from our smoke alarms we could not figure out and Andrew answered our call, pulled over and helped us solve the problem without charging us. We would call him again.
