I frequently order catering from Argo for staff lunches - they are great to work with AND their food is delicious! Always a crowd pleaser, thank you thank you

We had Argos restaurant cater our work party last week and I can't rave enough on how fantastic the meal was. Everyone at the party wanted to know where I had it catered from. I dealt with Chrysi who was so professional. I had never ordered for so many before and she made it so easy! All the food was so reasonably priced and professionally packaged and labelled. The portions were so generous. The potatoes were absolutely delicious as well as all the rest of the food! We are using them again for our Christmas party! Don't hesitate to order from them whether catering or just for lunch or dinner!

We recently ordered for 18 people for a work function. The food arrived on time and it was ALL super delicious. This won't be the last time we order from Argo. Special shout out to Chrysi for making the ordering process easy. Overall, an amazing place to support!

We usually order from Argo once every few months and I normally get the calamari dinner. I ordered just the appetizer calamari yesterday and am not impressed: (it seemed super stale, as if it was sitting out for a while or reheated. It wasn’t hot, it was dried out (you can tell by the picture), and the squid was very hard/chewy (not a good chewy). When you bite into the calamari, it kind of looked like a dried out onion ring. The squid was very thin and basically non-existent in each piece. Pizza was great though.

I’ve been ordering the roast lamb from here for a couple years now and it’s amazing every time! The lamb is always perfectly cooked. So juicy and tender! The portions are really good and an amazing deal! It comes with a Greek salad, tzatziki, and toasted pita bread too! Everything is always well packed.

We ordered food for our grade 7 year end dinner and needed food for almost 200 people. Chrysi sat down with me to look at what we needed and to assure that the order would be correct. The food arrived at the time promised and was delicious. All our guests were complimenting the quality and size portions of their meals. We have created many new Argo’s fans through this event! Discovered this place during covid. Ordered on uber. Finally stopped in person to pick up some food. One of my favourite greek food place. No dine in! Take out only. But there is a table and chairs for you to sit down and if you want to. Ordered lamb chop medium rare and ekmek dessert. Lamb chop was cooked perfectly! Juicy! And ekmek was delicious not too sweet!

Great food. Both quality and quantity wise. Was my first time ordering from here but got surprised how great it is.

Thank you to the staff at Argo's! We really enjoyed our Greek Dinner, the Chicken Souvlaki was so moist, tender and full of flavor. The Roast Lamb was absolutely cooked to perfection, fall of the bone delicious! Portions were large, had lots of leftovers for lunch the next day! Thank you for the Ekmek dessert as well it was also very delicious! Highly recommend Argo's!

Ordered takeout souvlaki for a group of 14 people. There was more than enough delicious food that our whole group loved, and at a reasonable price for the quality and amount. Food was on time and staff were friendly, even giving us a complimentary dessert taster. They helped get the food to the car as well. Would highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of using Agro Greek for our catered event. Chrysi and staff were amazing in communicating with us, they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. We had 60 people, there was plenty of food, and people were raving about how great it was. The shrimp souvlaki was amazing! We cannot wait to use them again!

This has become one of our favourite go to choices. All the dishes we’ve ever had from Argo have been delicious.

From our first order the lamb was super dry and tough to eat. Pictured below. We went back and stuck it the moussaka and it was good!

Finally got a chance to try this restaurant after hearing about it from others, passing by it everyday (it’s in my neighborhood!), and seeing the awesome reviews about it online! This place is amazing! Delicious food, everything is seasoned to perfection, and prices are relatively affordable too (the potatoes were a little sour though- not sure if it’s just because we just aren’t too used to Greek food? We haven’t had it in a while- but still amazing)! Ordered food for takeout tonight, it was ready in the timeframe that I asked for, staff were friendly and efficient. The pita bread was so, so soft, delicious, and still warm when we got it. Ordered the chicken and lamb soulavaki and the portions are huge! Shared it between 4 of us:)
Would definitely come here again! And I appreciate the owners for replying back to these reviews- am I able to get a complimentary dessert for my next meal too (like others I’ve seen online here) ? Would love to try it next time.

Amazing food, top quality, and very consistent. We’ve tried nearly every Greek restaurant in Vancouver and Burnaby and this one is the best & most consistent. Generous portions and always fresh. What more can you ask for? !

Easily the best Greek food in Vancouver, and some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The lamb is succulent, the rice is seasoned and delicious, the potatoes are tangy and zesty, the souvlaki are absolutely divine!

I’m not a fan of moussaka in general, but my partner raves about it. Spanakopita also received high praise.

The Greek salad could benefit from a better balance of olives, and the tzatziki could do with more garlic. But honestly, those are such minor suggestions. Tried this place on a whim and so glad we did! This is our new Greek spot for sure!

Pizza: my husband only orders their #11 pizza. He is in love. Nice deep dish pizza with lots of toppings. Excellent Greek pizza.

Great portions for takeout, online order straight from their website. Roast lamb is spot on!

Tip top Greek food. Designed for take out but a lovely family vibe inside. I go here once a month and have NEVER been disappointed. 10 toppings is awesome and honestly the best lamb souvlaki I've ever had.

If you want piping hot, large portion Greek take out this is the place. They will not cook your calamari until you show up, to make sure it is not all soggy. Staff is nice and friendly.

I have to say that I was one of the first when they opened a few years ago and I keep coming back 3 to 4 times a week, the food is truly amazing, consistent and made with love, have referred to friends and family and they have continued to come back.

Ordered the moussaka tonight and it was deeelicious! The rice and potatoes were full of flavour as well. After a long week, having some great tasting Greek food was quite the treat!

The service at Argo was terrific as well. Highly recommended!

I would give this restaurant 5 stars for customer service and good quality food, but I have to knock down two stars because it's very expensive.

Authentic Greek menu, fantastic service and a lovely team. We ordered catering through Argo for an office lunch for 20 people and everyone was raving. It was very good value for large portions. As someone of Greek background I can confirm the food was LIKE MY MUM'S! So excited to go back. Thanks Argo!

Friendly, efficient, accommodating, personable staff & ownership that serve up consistent and quality dishes each and every time we have ordered from them. Dishes seasoned and tasting right with each bite to be had. Worth a visit if you are a resident or ever going through Burnaby.

This is a true taste of the Mediterranean sea region food, with a great Greek natural herbs and spices, this type of food is a wonderful experience and all food lovers should give it a try.

We had Argos cater our daughters graduation this past weekend and everything from start to finish was perfect! Their restaurant is strictly for take out and catering. Communicating with the owner was easy and professional! We ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner and calamari for 30 people and by far this was the best local Greek food we’ve had! The chef waited to fry our calamari right at pick up so that it would be crispy and fresh… and that it was. The chicken was delicious to, so tender and flavourful. Our guests raved about the quality of food (as did we) and portions were so large that there were tons of leftovers to share with all. We will definitely be ordering from Argos again soon! Thank you Chrysi for making our event effortless!

My second time doing take out here. I usually order calamari dinner and the penne pasta. Both were delicious. When I got home I realized they have forgotten my tzatziki sauce and Greek salad that comes with the calamari dinner. I gave them a call and the nice lady who worked there was willing to deliver those missing items for me. I would say that is amazing service. Would come back!

The average calamari is missing the tentacles, moussaka is good, but the star of the show has to be their very moist and tender roast lamb.

Food is usually great however I tried to order take out over the phone but the lady working there has horrible customer service and is very rude. All I want is just to order food, she doesn't have to raise her voice at me. Would rather order from another Greek restaurant with better service. Will never order from there again.

Update: Just tried Socrates near by. Customer service was awesome and their food is amazing! I would recommend to go there instead.

The food here was very dry and a bit on the expensive side. You're better off going to Minoas Tavern or Ramies Restaurant on Kingsway.

Best Greek food we've ever had. Their pizzas are better than other Italian or pizza places. Portions are very generous. Order ahead because they're not fast with your order, probably a good thing as it means its all made to order and not sitting under a heat lamp

Pleasantly surprised by this Greek spot tucked away in a mini mall on Canada Way. The skewers were huge and meaty but still tender and juicy. The platter is a lot of food and pretty much everything was on point.from the seasoned potatoes to the thick and creamy tzatziki and hummus.

The Ten Rich Toppings pizza is great if you like a loaded pizza.

We've ordered delivery 3 times in the last 3 months or so. Each time, the food really hits the spot! We haven't ordered a huge variety from their menu because we keep craving the calamari dinner, lamb souvlaki and roast lamb dinner. Their food is really flavourful and fresh. The portions are quite generous and each dinner entree is usually 2 meals worth. Sorry there are no pictures of the food because we usually can't wait to dig in!

Very happy with my experience with Argo! We placed a catering order for approx 14 and everything was perfect! The food was amazing - delicious, fresh, hot and plentiful - and very authentic too! Chrysi was super accommodating and helpful with our order, and we were pleased with everything. Our guests loved all the food and we had lots of leftovers to enjoy for days afterwards. I know this place for more than a year. The owner and staff are pretty laid back and cool always which I like.
I just have to say, the roast lamb used to be more tender and juicy last year, but recently I find it drier and harder to chew which I don't like. Please make it like before. Thanks

Amazing food! Best gyros I have ever had. Lasagna and the souvlaki are also amazing. Hands down the best Greek restaurant I’ve come across.

Great place for take away. Not the best if you want a romantic dinner, but if you don't want to cook they're a tasty healthy alternative.

This has to be my FAVORITE Greek restaurant for delivery. The food is fresh and you can tell it’s got that home-cooked taste to it. They don’t cheap out on anything there. Every single time I order from this place the food is fantastic. From the lamb, to mousakka, to chicken souvlaki, to the ribs and lasagna even their desserts are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with their entire menu.
In the area there’s a few other greek places that I have personally ordered from and they are completely disappointing after ordering from Argo! It’s like night and day! Argo’s servings are bigger, the food tastes better, and the quality of food is really noticeable, and even the presentation is better. I’ve heard Argo is not a restaurant that you would eat inside, I don’t know about that as I just use it for delivery I’ve ordered from them and they’ve delivered it to me personally and I’ve also ordered from SkipTheDishes.
I’ll give them five stars for a Greek restaurant! Totally recommend them!

Have had the gyros from here about 50 times already. I can't say I've ever had such consistent quality from a restaurant the flatbread is always soft tasting like it just came out of the oven and lightly grilled. The chicken is always so juicy and succulent the beef is always the same wonderfully tasty. Highest of praise for this place

I have been ordering from here for years today another great experience! I placed a takeout order the lady over the phone informed me they were busy that it would be an hour, honestly that was fine with me their food is always worth the wait! One of the best greek restaurants around, I ordered the greek salad and lentil soup and me being from the same ethnicity I love it! Food 5/5 customer service 5/5

Have only tried the chicken slouvlaki and it has been amazing every time. The rice is extremely tasty, the chicken is cooked beautifully, and the potato's are delicious.
Only thing is the wait time for take out is super long. Waited about 15 extra minutes past expected time. Would've given five stars if this wasn't the case.

Mixed feelings about this place. First time had roast lamb, me and friends enjoyed it alot. Went back for lunch and ordered beef sovlaki and wasn't wasn't great. Tough and hard to eat. Sides were OK. I'll try again, hopefully will be better or maybe stick with chicken.

Ordered the platter for pickup, and thought it was a bit expensive at $62. It was very very good.lots of food and great quality meats. Well seasoned and tasty.

OVER PRICED! LOW QUALITY FOOD! Had stomache issue after eating. Calamari wasn't fresh! And tasted below average. Lamb and prawn skewers were both over cooked and over salted. Only 3 tables here and it has a bit of a food court vibe. Pay first and anyone can join you at your table. Luckily I enjoyed our guests. Waitress forgot an item and also weren't very attentive or friendly. The only thing I really enjoyed was the lemon potatoe and salad! Very disappointed for the amount we paid

Had take out six to eight times and foods been excellent every single time. Ordered a variety of dishes and it's always good. Fantastic value for money too!

Argo's catered the holiday party for my office. Chrysi was wonderful to work with and the food was phenomenal, with a super reasonable price per head. All the food came in recyclable containers that we put right into chafing dishes which made cleanup a breeze, and there were vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend!

Restaurant served succulent chicken souvlaki with rice and a greek salad and a potato along with the traditional tzatziki sauce. Lamb and shrimp entrees were excellent as well however the shrimp were literally swimming in half a pound of butter. When asked if there was a restroom for patrons, we were asked to use the one at the local Subway restaurant. How is it legal to operate a sit down restaurant in BC without a restroom being provided to customers? Also there is no table service which is crazy since there are only three tables to manage. Food is excellent, service is below standard.
