Best authentic Afghan cuisine I’ve had here in Vancouver! So happy I found this little gem.

I recently enjoyed a delightful meal at Arya Afghan Grill. The flavors were exquisite, and the staff's warmth added to the experience. Don't miss their perfectly grilled kebabs, Qabili palaw and Mantu dumplings mostly recommended.
A must-try for an authentic taste of Afghanistan!

My first time here and I was blown away by the flavours and overall quality of the food. The eggplant appetizer was particularly delicious, but I have no complaints overall. The portions were generous and every dish was perfect for sharing. The chicken kebab was very tasty and it’s definitely worth upgrading your rice to the special Qabeli rice, the textures are delightful. Lovely service too. Highly recommend:)

I recommend it to every one to check and test it once. I believe once you eat it here, you will visit over and over. Nice and friendly place for eating

Ordered catering from this restaurant. My coworkers really liked it! There were a lot of food and the taste was great! Would come back again!

I wish it were possible to give them zero stars. I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and after 45 minutes, they cancelled my order. I asked the Uber Eats customer service representative why they cancelled my order. They told me that the restaurant had given my food to someone else by mistake. The customer service recommended I order again; I placed the same order again, and it took about an hour and a half to receive. The food was icy with low quality, and even though they charged me for dessert, they did not send me the dessert. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Had the lamb chops with Afghan break along with veggie stew. Everything was very tasty, lamb was well cooked but Smokey and tender, the bread was very fresh and airy and the veggie stew was very tender and flavourful enough to go with rice, which the owner was nice enough to give me free rice! Best Afghan cuisine! Must try!

The most authentic tasting afghani food in this corner of the globe. Last time I had food this great it was in kuwait. Keep serving smiles, grear work.

We (me and my wife) took 3 types of Kabab and naan. The naan was freshly baked, soft but crunchy both. The kebabs were super delicious. The chicken kebab was really soft, tender and juicy. The lamb kebab was splendid in taste. The owner served is with a complementary Quabuli Polaw. Thats the most delicious rice item I have ever had until now in Vancouver. It’s really worthy to visit here.

We immediately return food without tasting it due to Hair found in the rice. Instead of bringing new food the guy argue that its not his Hair. We couldnt believe it he was seriouse, we left without eating anything. Poor and bad customer service and we might not go again. The guy lied he was the only person in the kitchen but we notice 2 or 3 individuals there.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Aria Kabab. I had a 3 course meal, with an Afghan Drinks (Dough) Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a perfect time and food at the same time. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

I ordered Qabeli Polou for my family. The portion was enough for three adults.and my family really liked it. The restaurant is clean and foods are fresh and delicious. The owner was generous and he put an extra dessert on my order. Thank you Reshad for running one of the best restaurants inn Vancouver.

I really enjoy Afghani food, this was my first time trying the food here and I enjoyed it. The combo with the three types of kababs and their Qabeli Pallow was delicious. Both the chutneys were tasty, red one was my favorite! Will definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

Amazing. The food was delicious. I ordered food for 25 people for a party. The food was great, the prices were affordable and the service was awesome. We served the food at the party 2 hours after it had been delivered, and the food was still hot and there was no need to warm it up. I am beyond satisfied. Definitely recommend. Very nice place, we were the last customers of the day. The attendant was very nice and very cheerful. He gave us a free dessert (kheer). Do go here and be mesmerized by the food they have. It's truly amazing.

This weekend, my family had a party to celebrate the accomplishments of a family friend. My parents got catering from Aria Kabob. I’ve lived in Vancouver my whole life, and I’ve tried afghan food from every restaurant in the lower mainland. This was by far the BEST afghan food I’ve had (aside from my moms). Every single dish was sooo delicious and full of flavour. You could taste and see how fresh it was. The taste was 1000000/10, the presentation was beautiful, and the portions were amazing. Even all our guests were shocked at how tasty it was. I was so happy the guests didn’t finish the food, because now I get to enjoy the leftovers. Thank you so much Aria Kabab House. I will be recommending this restaurant to all my family and friends & can’t wait to have it again. Definitely give this restaurant a try.

Aria kabob grill has the most amazing Afghan food. Absolutely loved their ghabeli palow. They got popular so quick due to their amazing food. I would love to do catering from them one day when I have a mehmani. I’m so happy and will be back with my entire family one day for a dine in. Great customer service.

It was a great choice, it’s been a while since I had a delicious food like this. The ice cream needs a bit of enhancement. Overall everything was perfect.

What a great place to have fresh, authentic Afghani food.

Service was good and portions were big (so was the price)

It seemed to be around 20-30% more expensive than I am used to paying at similar places.

For dine-in they should offer reusable spoons or forks, aside from that all was good.

I would have rated five stars if the price was a bit lower and cutlery was re-usable.

Been a few years since I last ate at Aria Kabab. They used to be located on Edmonds but have since moved to 6th street.

The meat skewers here are good and wound up ordering the shaami kabab (beef) and upgrading to qabeli pallow (Afghani Rice with raisins and carrots).

Excellent food! The qbali rice and the meat are so flavourful. My wife particular loves the chicken kebab as it is so moist and tender. The portion is huge. One entree can comfortablely feed 2 adults.

We had the teka lamb kabab with afgan rice, lamb was amazing but the afgan rice was to die for. I would highly recommend the Afghan rice with any meal.

I visited Aria Kabab this afternoon because my friend recommended me this place. I ordered Kabuli Palaw with three skewers of kababs and I must admit that it was just delicious. I've had kababs at many different middle eastern restaurants in lower mainland and this was probably the best I've had. The service was great and the food was amazing. Moreover, the owner was kind enough to give us a free desert! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for authentic Afghan food with great service and reasonable price.

Great hospitality with yummy and delicious afghani meals, well behavior people and everything is with good price. I really recommend this, try it once you won't regret.

Tonight dinner from Aria Kabob House on 6th street in Burnaby.
We had the chicken kabob on white rice and Kaboli rice and salad.
At Aria his food is always prepared fresh the service and taste is Excellento
If you are in the area do drop by the owner is very caring and down to earth person.

It had a really good Kabuli palo before, but last it was not as good as before. But I love Bolani

Great customer service! We ordered combo and Since it was the first visit the manager gave us free portion of their Kabuli rice. We liked the food a lot! Their Chicken and Lamb kabab skewers is in our favourite lists now!

You can not find this kind of Kabuli pulao any where else and lamb shank according to me. They r great

Amazing authentic Afghan foods! My order was ready at the exact time I was told to pick up.i wasn’t only impressed with the level of aero but also the I was impressed with the taste and amount of food. It really reminded me of Afghanistan home made cook. I visited this restaurant for the second time today and I believe I will remain its customer for ever. You should tried their food today. I am sure you will be impressed as I was.

Moved into the neighbourhood and gave Aria Kabab a try and it was delicious. The meat and rice were perfect (I especially love the fragrance and taste of the rice with all its separate grains). The portions of veggies and meat and rice were perfect. I bought enough food for 2 families with kids and everyone loved it. Will definitely be my go to place.

Ordering was quick and easy, and it was ready as advised. I picked it up and went on my way. Tip: pay in store as pricing will be better.

We’ve enjoyed their food and service so much. If you are really looking for best Kabab this fancy restaurant is for you. We highly recommend it to people who love this kind of food. In addition to this, they do catering as well for big parties.

Lamb skewers and tea were delicious. Chill atmosphere, no complaints. Looks like they recently did renos: comfy seats, clean, and modern. We enjoyed the music too.

The naan was more like pita, but still tasty.

The worst place I have ever seen the owner is very rude he is not giving tip to the server I don't recommend this place to anybody.

I visited this place when it was at Edmond St. Now at the new place (6th St), the food is still delicious & worth the price. Strongly recommend.

The best Authentic Afghan food in BC! I recommend the 9. Combo Kabab or the 10. Qabeli Pallow. The new place is also cozy and family friendly. The owner also very nice and caring, definitely a 5 Star!

This place seems to have moved to a new location. I haven’t been to this new location yet but I’m hoping the customer service, food portion size and taste has improved! Looking forward to go try it out again very shortly.over priced salty chicken kebabs and an overly preoccupied manager/owner (even when I was the only customer in shop) on my last visit left a poor taste in my mouth. Will try soon and update review.

Went back recently and must say it was great! Amazing kebab taste and friendly attentive service - really enjoyed the upgrade. Well done - look forward to eating here more often, however I must note that the kebab meat portions of chicken and lamb are small for the price.

This place is my favorite! Great, warm, welcoming, friendly service and very kind staff. Food is real authentic delicios Afghani food:) which is hard to find! I come here on a regular basis and highly recommend it.

This was my first time here at Aria Kebab for my nieces birthday. The bolani was amazing, with delicious kebab, palow, shoula, etc etc. It tasted like my own home food. Very delicious. If you love afghan food, or never tried it and want to have an amazing experience with great customer service. I recommend this restaurant!

The atmosphere of the new location is really nice. Love the way everything is placed. The food was good but could have some improvements. The kabob was not cooked well but the rice was delicious. Would like to give it another try in order to decide weather I’ll update it to a 5 stars or 3.
