Probably the best and cheapest grocers in a 3 mile radius. A stone throws away from the whole foods, and what a godsend. Bought oranges, apples, garlic and onions for 7 CAD. You wont find everything you want here, but for fresh produce this place is top notch.

We walk 30 minutes to shop at Aria. There just isn’t another place in town (at least, in the downtown area) like this. They carry the local Himalaya yogurt which, being a Bulgarian, is the only yogurt in Canada I can tolerate:) Also, the one and only Bulgarian feta and kashkaval cheeses. Their selection of olives, nuts, spices, halal meats, breads etc.is wonderful, and the prices of fresh produce and herbs are unbeatable. If I had to shop in only one store in town, Aria would be it.

To me, it's the best Iranian supermarket in Vancouver. It has fresh, high-quality products. Everyone who works there is very friendly, and the interesting part is that you can find some fresh food with a future expiration date, but sometimes they will advise you not to buy it because on that specific day, the food may not be as good as expected! I highly recommend this place to everyone

Best place in westend for shopping indian/iranian food/ingredients. Beloot bakery saffron ice cream very much tastes like kesar pista.

I go to this place at least once a month.
The fruits and veggies are usually super fresh.
Plus, the prices are a bit cheaper than other stores nearby.
The folks who work there are always nice and friendly.

Leafy leaves! This place is great. A wee grocery oasis in the west end. Unique products, a spice wall worth envying, very reasonably priced produce and nice staff. Go there. Buy some things.

Very clean, bright and organized store with almost all you need. Specially for Persian cousins.

The best grocery store in Metro Vancouver by far! You can find all fresh vegetables and fruits at reasonable prices. Variety Of Persian, Indian, Turkish, and Mexican cuisines. The staff is really helpful and friendly.

Good products but need to work on their customer service. We went in at 10 and they said to come at 11 as they were out of stock on an item. At 11 I called 3 times to ensure they had it, no answer, went all the way back anyway based on taking their word. When I went back they said “its not an exact time, it’s between 1-2”. With a straight face! If it’s between 1-2 THEN SAY THAT, don’t say 11 and also not answer the phone. Do better

A lovely neighborhood grocery store. They provide a quite a number of Middle Eastern and Balkan products. I go here for their bread and cheese selection. Every other weekend you can see me there shopping.

Great selection of fruits and vegetables at very competitive prices, nuts, condiments, imported pastas & rice too. The retail space has been expanded and now offers a wider selection of foods, including halal meat, more seasonings, and ready to serve deli items.

Favorite veggie market in the neighborhood! Have been going here for years and now they expanded and have even more variety. Produce is usually fresh, prices are convenient, the cashiers are very friendly. They offer a lot of unique baked and frozen products.

I think everything is halal here. Especially chicken and meat. Very well priced. Definitely recommended.

It was overall a nice place, friendly people, but was hoping for more selection (Shelves were adequately stocked).

Same happened to me (as to many costumers who left 1 star rating) they charged me $3 more for one item. I cameback not for a refund or cash, I said you can take off that $3 of my new bill. The older manager lady didn't agree and I had to pay the full price again. Please note I had two receipts to prove the point.

It's aPersian market with a big selection of ingredients, goods and produce. Very fresh fruit with a good quality of local grocery.it's a family business with a close supervised.that trained very friendly relatively straight-forward stuff with no confusion.to help you in the store.

They have the best "Goje Sabz" in town

Just randomly walk into this place out of curiosity. It sells some Mediterranean, Eastern groceries. Bought 1 box of Baklava for $3.50 and it was pretty good! The service was not friendly tho.

Quality and reasonably priced produce, and a large variety of Persian and mediterranean products.

Real gem in the neighborhood just got better. They expanded the original space so now they have more fridges and improved offerings of Mediterranean delicacies. There is always something new to try and enjoy, so look forward to next visit very soon.

Rebuilt and upgraded little grocery store. My favorite place to get some great Persian teas. Good selection of Middle Eastern and Mediteranian food and spices.

Great for place to stop for juicing, they have the best price for grassfed butter, love the array of Persian products (the long flat bread is a MUST!), they have lots of vegan products too, affordable spices, teas, jams, etc!

Highly recommend you start including them in your shopping trips if you live in the west end or coal harbour:)

Great price and selection of veggies and fruits. Nice staff as well. They could use more variety inside the store. It’s basically just middle eastern food, which is cool, but I would spend a lot more money there if they had some Mexican and/or Asian foods as well.

Fresh food. But wasn’t impressed by staff coughing right at fruit shelf. We were basically standing in front of the same fruit shelf, facing each other. Fruit between us. He coughed multiple times without covering coughs (mask was off). It’s not about COVID but common manner I’d say. Especially when I buy fresh veggies and fruits.

Definitely One of the best Persian stores. They have a great selection of Iranian items and the staff is very polite and helpful.

I recomand everyone leaving in west end to pay a visit there, resonable prices, convenient, friendly staff and I like shopping there.

Ariaaa I love you from bottom of my heart! Everthing, everything all i need is there, lamb, chicken, big yogurt, Turkish stuffs, Iranian staffs, mini cucumber. I used to live in Toronto we were lucky there if we found turkish coffee, but in Aria omg you can find tons kinds of coffee?

Unique market with a lot of interesting food and vegetables from a variety of corners of the world. Decently priced. Helpful staff. Parking is across the street in the back alley.

Operates like a family business, staff great, food assortment very good, there are lots of different good items to try. Prices good, fresh fruit and veg good, prices best in area.

This is my go to persian grocery store, they have everything one might need, all the exotic stuff in addition to all the persian life necessities. Very good selection of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The store is conveniently located in west end in Vancouver which makes it one of the very few persian stores nearby.

So Helpful. I have been shopping here for years, and they alway have fresh products and everything we need. I called them to see if I can place an order over the phone the other day because my baby had just falled asleep in the car and I couldnt get out of the car. It wasn't worth it to wake the baby because I only need a couple of things; they very nicely agreed to bag the few products I needed and bring it out so I can pay outside so I don't have to go in.

I tried to ask for a product that I'm searching for, and I was chased out from the store using finger and yelling that I should wait in the line with a rude tone and looking at me like I did something unforgivable, but in so called line they didn't have customers at least I didn't see them. I never ever gonna enter in this "friendly" store after 2 years of constant buying groceries, they just lost a customer.

I am a regular customer here. Great value and good product. Unfortunately, there is an Indian girl who usually works as a cashier. She’s super rude, unwelcoming and awful personality. Once she was standing behind the cashier and was playing with her phone and when she finally noticed me, in a very rude manner pointed to the other cashier. As a person who is working in customer service, so surprised someone with this personality can still keep her job.

A small but popular grocery store. I love this place because, I can find couple of things that I can't find anywhere else. They have a good spice selection and good feta cheese options. I should also mention that vegetables and fruits are fresh.

Lowest price for quality fresh fruit and vegetables. They also have the lowest price for cigarettes in all of Vancouver. Great employees who are always kind and helpful. Stop in and see for yourself.

Does anyone else have the same feeling: the security follows you, the cashiers look at you as if your were going to steal? Strange! I have been going there from time to time. Wasn’t like that a year ago.

I have spent hundreds of dollars at this market and I often buy the raw, unsalted pistachios. On my last purchase someone put the wrong product into the bin and when I got home I realized it was not raw or unsalted. When I brought the pistachios back to the store the owner refused to accept my return claiming that I waited too long and I didn't have the receipt and it was perishable, which was totally incorrect. Salted nuts have a very long shelf life. I didn't even ask for a refund. I only wanted to exchange the nuts. The owner earned himself a one star negative review because of the way he mistreated and disrespected me. And all for $2.50 worth! They just lost a very good customer!
