Arigato Sushi Valleyview

It has more fancy and interesting sushi rolls than most other Japanese restaurants. Definitely suggest several visits to sample the menu.

Don't let the location fool you. Arigato cranks out some of the best sushi in Kamloops. Great service and lots of options on the menu. We found that the quality of salmon has always been consistently high. See you again!

Not my first time here. I have been to Arigato a number of times on my trips to or through Kamloops. I don’t like thinking too hard for a quick bite so ordered a couple of Bento C boxes. A good sampling of yummy tempura and sashimi. The tempura batter was perfect. Just the right crisp and crunch. The spicy salmon salad was spicy and salad crisp. The sashimi just take a look. Don’t hesitate to stop here in Kamloops!

Served fast and late for which we were grateful, however the food itself was rather sad: mushy rice, tasteless rolls, would not eat there is it weren't the only choice late in the evening.

Passing by on our way to Vancouver Island and what a gem that we discovered! I normally don’t like tuna sashimi because of the fishy taste but the tuna (and all the fishes) in the Chirashi Don was super fresh. We’ll definitely stop by here again the next time we pass through.

BEST sushi in Kamloops with the most amazing staff! Everyone is so friendly and kind and they go above and beyond for their customers. Will always be our go to place!

A great experience last night, friendly and quick service was provided. The spicy Korean tofu soup was excellent along with the spicy salmon roll. Will definitely try again as it’s very affordable.

Disgusting! Very dirty table and walls, my glass was all covered with fingerprints, nigiris are falling apart.there was no drinks menu and we ended up ordering a bottle of Sapporo for 12 CAD! Seriously? Prices are higher than in Vancouver and absolutely not worth it.not coming back again.

Great place for sushi sashimi prices are good and service was nice. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the Beef Donburi was not traditional way and tasted more like teriyaki sweet sauce.

Best sushi place in kamloops by far! The owner is extremely kind and always sends over free things to the table. Amazing service from all the staff and the food is fantastic! Would never go anywhere else for sushi in kamloops.

Clearly it has been a really busy mother's day for them. The parking lot had people waiting (covid protocols). The owner was coming out to deliver the food and apologizing for the wait and it wasn't that long. He even gave a discount for the trouble which wasn't necessary.

Great spot to visit, the menu is extensive but we loved everything we got. I'm not a huge fan of traditional sushi so I got some less traditional stuff, but my family loves sushi and was very satisfied with their meal!

Food is amazing and the staff is even better! Can’t get over how nice the owner is too. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great meal with great customer service!

We enjoy sushi at many of Vancouver and Whistler's restaurants however this quaint establishment by the highway in Kamloops is by far the best sushi, and best service I have ever experienced. Visited with the whole family and even the kids were blown away "dad this is the BEST chicken karrage I've ever tasted" A must visit.

Hands down my favorite Sunomono salad. Outstanding presentation and taste everytime. The owner and staff are always friendly.

Still the best sushi in Kamloops. Don’t know about the other location, but Valleyview Arigato is consistently good. This review could be for the last 5 times we have eaten in or got takeout. We have ordered tempura, platter B, platter D, assorted sashimi, and Bentos (picture uploaded) and every time it was excellent. Look at bento A; for $12.95 I feel like I’m stealing it!

This is by far my most favourite spot to eat for trips between Vancouver and Calgary. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious!

The staff are really rude! And this is not specific to this branch! It seems to be the attitude here! The food is not impressive either! There are better options in town!
