Aroga Lifestyle Medicine

Dr.refereed me here over 3 months ago, zero contact. I tried calling them myself, nobody answers. I’m gonna recommend my family doctor stops referring people here as ZERO help.

My previous doctor here was Dr. Scott Stewart, he is incredible. The doctor answered all my questions, made me feel heard. Highly recommend to anyone who also struggles with anxiety regarding doctors. Keeps you informed and all around just a good doctor.

Nice front end staff. This is a place for people with money, the Dr's specialists use scare tactics to try to get people to pay for things, while those who cannot afford the extras are left to feel horrible. They do not help with eating disorders, unless you have the extra money to pay for counseling which is pretty pricey at 165/h. If you do not have the funds for 200 a month for meds or 160/h for counseling, they offer very very little to eating disorders. Wouldn't recommend if low income or have specific eating disorder

I am so frustrated, they NEVER answer the phone. I leave messages to request a call back to book an appointment and they never return calls. It took them two weeks to get in touch to book an appointment for my daughter!

If could leave 0 stars I would, Aroga never answers the phone, Never returns your calls and is a complete Joke of a business. Hope you get removed by the BBB. Worst group of non doctors I've ever seen.

I was excited to start with Aroga, but my experience was highly disappointing. The doctor took the call from his car for my first (virtual) appointment - he did not have the questionnaire I took 45 minutes to fill in front of him - did not know anything about my condition or my needs. The first appointment virtually - from his car - made no sense! He offered generic advice and showed condescending behaviour - asked if I knew what “meditation” was. I am sorry; I don't live under a rock!

The nutritionist was the saving grace, but even that was basic info you could Google. I was prepared to spend extra money for additional services because I thought, what is money if I get the proper support but NO, they didn’t even call me back after my initial appointment. I got their prescribed blood work done - I still didn’t get a follow-up call - they just dropped me. It was an EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE - the whole AROGA interaction!

Aroga has been an incredible resource for me through my health journey for the past 20 months. With their network of health professionals, I have been able to resolve a number of acute health conditions. With their support, encouragement and gentle nudging to make the changes I need to, I am successfully managing my chronic conditions.

Received a phone call from Aroga’s admin today following up on the referral from my GP. They called to book me and I was asking for information about what services I was referred for. The admin “warned” me the doctors follow a vegan lifestyle recommendation and “holistic” medicine which I’m not interested in. The reception could not really explain beyond the warning and suggested to check out their website. Well I went to the website and could not find much but the reviews here are very telling of what to expect it seems. I will have to follow up with my GP and finds a doctor that practices western medicine. I’m unsure how a 1 size fits all vegan lifestyle is an appropriate approach at preventative medicine. I’m sure the people at Aroga are lovely but this lifestyle is not suitable or sustainable for all.

The Aroga team helped me turn my health around. I am still a work in progress but I am now heading in the right direction finally. I am gratefull for the support I am receiving from the team. Thank you so so much

Emailed, phoned, completed online form and received no response… even dropped by the office one day during regular hours only to find it closed. Don’t waste your time.

The Aroga team was instrumental during my quest to improve my health. Their advice and support helped get me on, and stay on, the correct path. Not sure I could have made the necessary lifestyle changes without them. Bye bye blood pressure medications and hello a healthier more active lifestyle.

Very professional, kind and pleasant staff, enjoyed the visit from start to finish. One of the nurses (Kirsten) was amazing, she was very friendly and easy to talk too! 10/10

A colossal waste of time and MSP funds! After spending a lot of time detailing my issues for the initial consult, my telemed appointment was a string of practitioners going over the same, and capped by an intern who could not get my GP's name right, despite correcting him 7 times, and who seemed to have his head somewhere the sun don't shine, worshiping his latest diet guru. Snort saline, take even more steroids, and go vegan? No thanks.
Despite the "tailored" and "drug reduction" approach they spout in their advertising, it was just a one size fits all finish, and a bunch of MSP gravy-trainers.

I am very disappointed in Dr. N. Pewarchuk's decision to leave her old practice in the same city where she practiced family medicine and join this one to practice family medicine only to basically dump the majority of her existing patients. I was never informed of this change and only found out when I called to make an appointment. Nothing like being kicked to the curb. Very unprofessional and uncaring way to treat existing patients.

My experience with Aroga Lifestyle from beginning to end was seamless and overall very satisfying. The feeling of being heard and supported will make my day to day life choices more manageable and enjoyable. Thank you so much Shael Mazzone, Dr Burgess and Sarah Losier for being on my health team!

The only thing they did for me was to try convincing me to become vegan. That was their whole treatment. Other than that they did nothing.

Since coming to this clinic, I have reduced my blood pressure medication by half and am told I can cut it back even further. My cholesterol is good now. I feel so much better. The team has helped me get back to a much healthier me. The offer great advice and actually listen to my concerns. I would highly recommend this clinic

Very supportive through group meetings dealing with issues that make it difficult for people maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. They provide a lot of nutritional information, resources and recipes that make it easier to maintain a whole food.plant based diet. They are a kind, caring team.

I showed up for my video call early and advised i had another medical appointment in an hour, i waited.staff member called me 18 minutes later to imply i was wasting their time. I explained my appointment had been changed by the other clinic through no fault of mine and that never was i told they needed more than an hour with me. I wasn't asked if i could postpone my other appointment or anything, just presented with a poor attitude questioning why i'm wasting their time. Pretty shocking considering the medical info i had shared with them, actually.

I have been receiving care from Aroga for the past 9 months and I have been impressed with the doctors, dieticians, counsellors and staff. I have lost a significant amount of weight and my overall health has improved immensely as a result of the wrap around care that Aroga provides. I can't speak highly enough of the help that the dietician, Dominique Sehovic, has given me.

This clinic has delivered me nothing but the best care and offers a holistic approach to healing vice just using prescription medicine to treat patients. After a stint in the hospital, it was the team at Revive that worked with me to provide a caring and supportive approach that drastically changes my drug intake and provided results that not only are sustainable but also charted a pathway for a thriving lifestyle. If you have been recommended to visit this clinic I highly recommend you come with an attitude that you can change your health strategy if you trust them to guide you to outstanding results. They will give you the tools you need and support you to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A true breath of fresh air!

I was referred there for a post op appointment. Everyone was very nice to us. Very clean looking building too. The doctor even gave me some dietary advice which was very helpful.

Revive Lifestyle medicine is the future of medicine and Dr. Pewarchuk (I call him Dr. POWERchuk. I'll explain later) empowers you to take charge of your own health and he walks the talk.literally.he arranges hikes with his patients (their family members too!) to encourage you to live an active lifestyle, sends out healthy recipes to help you make better dietary choices and has a dietitian on staff to help you on your way. Now you know why Dr. POWERchuk. If you are not well and are struggling with your health ask your GP for a referral.it just might be the best decision you could make.it certainly was for me.

Shael Mazzone, Program Coordinator at Revive was my first contact and I was impressed by his efficient and caring attitude. Dr. Pewerchuk is passionate about helping you attain the best health for life. His energy is contagious and he is not shy about telling you what part YOU need to play in attaining perfect health.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst front desk staff I have ever come across in the medical industry. I see a ton of specialists and never have deal with such ignorant staff ever. Don't be late for your appointment, it'll cost you $200 and they'll automatically write you as a no show. Booking was a hassle both times. Interesting for having such long waitlists, their office was empty. Happily will not be returning!
