Willkommen in der Schweiz! Hailing from Switzerland, the Zuppiger family (Joe, Margrit and 5 children) leave behind their organic orchard snd dairy farm for the wonderful possibilities in Canada. Resuming dairy farming in Alberta for 10 years, the beautiful Lake Country life reminiscent of East Switzerland quickly lured them to the new home away from home.

Purchasing Suncrest Vineyard and the Carter Farm, the Zuppiger farm officially opened their doors in 2003 becoming the second winery in the area. Eldest son Manuel took up the family honour of a 3 year apprenticeship program in winemaking in Switzerland, then honing his skills in the Barossa Valley, Hillside Winery and finally Tin Horn Creek.

Previously producing stunning grapes to Gray Monk, Arrowleaf Cellars has become an award winning winery and an Okanagan “MUST VISIT”! From its namesake Arrowleaf Balsamroot or the Okanagan Sun Flower, a symbol to the dedication of producing only terroir driven wines… you WILL be transported to the idyllic Swiss countryside.

Come indulge yourself with a cream puffs, offered on weekends, and glass of tasteful wine in the yard overlooking Lake Okanagan.

What a lovely stop in Lake Country. We did not make a reservation on a weekend, but was able to do a tasting ($5! Unheard of in the OK now). You get to try several of their staples and then buy a bottle or glass to enjoy on their patio. Lots of space with a beautiful view of the lake. Pro tip: bring your own picnic as even the glasses will provided by the tasting room! We saw a group had full on lunch basket with cutleries whipped out with a lovely bottle. The fav of the lot was the Pinot Gris - best in the area imo with more depth and complexity than just your usual gris. Will be back!

Made a reservation days in advance as we had company in town and were very excited to show them our favourite local wineries. Upon arrival we were told we would need to wait as a “larger group” showed up an hour early and took our spot… after 10/15 minutes of waiting we became frustrated and decided to leave as it would affect our next reservation at the winery next door. What is the point of a reservation if you don’t honour it? We definitely felt pushed aside as we were only a group of 4 compared to a group of 10. At the end of the day arrowleaf gave us the impression they did not care about our experience and only the money they could gain. As a local I will not return to this winery in the future

Arrowhead Cellars is another favourite winery that we try to come to annually.

Tasting fee is $5.00/person, non-refundable. Make sure to take in the view on their patio along with their picnic area. All prices are before tax and bottle deposit.

We bought a 2021 Wildblume ($25.00) for home. Love their sparklings (they used to have three types). Their pinot noir is also fantastic but it’s now 20% more expensive.

My wife and I had a great time. Staff was awesome. They answered a bunch of questions for us while we ate, laughed, and enjoyed our time.

We went to this winery on the recommendation of our Airbnb and it was a great experience, the wines were very good, the staff was amazing and the backyard was just right to enjoy a bottle of wine on a beautiful day.

Another one or my favourite wineries in British Columbia. They produce some really great whites. Order a bottle, some cheese and crackers and sit outside in the patio and enjoy the lovely views.
Highly recommend the Petite Arvine white.

We had a fabulous time at Arrowhead. 1st visit with guests from Scotland. Max our tasting host was amazing. And Heather on cash was so helpful.

Great service, however, two stars as the winery was sold out of 2 of 3 red wines. I’m also very disappointed they now charge a tasting fee which is not waived with purchase. This is the only winery in this area that does not waive the fee. Year after year spending hundreds of dollars on wine on my annual wine tour here to not have the tasting fee comped is below my standards. Also to add, there is a punch card for purchasing bottles that has never been advertised to me despite purchasing many bottles for years.

A bit pricey but they have the view, the patio/picnic area, and the wines were pretty good. Bottle purchase doesn't waive tasting fees. Their tasting is also a set menu (unfortunate). Staff was nice and professional.

Real nice, very kid-friendly with a lovely picnic area to spend some time in. The staff are nice, the wait was short, and the wine was delicious!

My boyfriend and i had an amazing time here! We did a tasting which was super informative, fun, and memorable and then selected a few bottles to bring home. We ended up opening one of our rose bottles we bought and enjoying it in the garden area - super great memory, tasty wine, and great views ps.they even sell cheese and snacks to accompany your wine if you are hungry or enjoy a nibble with a glass of vino!

One of the most beautiful views in the area and all of their wines are fantastic. Definitely try the Field Collection Red.

Took my mom here for Mother’s Day and now I share this place with all my guests on my own food tour to go here! Love the picnic area you can go beside the Winery with the amazing view. You basically get a little slice of heaven to yourself:)

Great service and hospitality, staff are keeping patrons safe and maintain the space well. The late harvest wine is an extra special delight and the labels are frankly very aesthetically pleasing! They're known for their cream puffs but are only available during weekends.

First time wine tasting in the Okanagan. Great staff, wonderful wines. Left with a box full to take back to Ontario.

Had an absolute blast at this winery. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Wine was great, not to much smoke blocking the incredible views. Just a pleasure to visit. My new favorite place that's for sure.

We went on the smokiest day ever and still had a lovely time. They have the sweetest picnic boxes and picnic tables on green grass. Enjoy a bottle or a tasting flight.

Stunning view, absolutely terrible service waited for how long then left came back and waited for another 25 mins and kept saying we were next. Would not recommend when there are so many gorgeous wineries! Grey monk down the road had impeccable service and great wine!

Awesome views, great wine, and even better people. We missed out on the weekend creampuffs, so arrive early if you plan on getting them cause they sell out by noon!

Amazing vineyard with beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the lake. All wines are vegan and delicious - our server was super knowledgable and friendly.

We had a great wine tasting. The young guy seemed quite knowledgeable. Having been a few years earlier we brought a lunch as the picnic area and views are amazing over Okanagan Lake.

The rose! So delicious! We visited on a Friday morning around 11: 30 and even without an appointment we were treated awesomely. The view & the wine will not disappoint!

I went to arrowleaf today. First off I would like to say the wine was great! The customer service was very poor. My group showed up half hour before our reservation, in this time we looked around and checked out the wine. It was our time for our tasting and we tasted some of the wines. We then wanted to try the one bubbly and the employee said of course. He after told us they were too busy and we could not try it. We then asked to try another wine, and he again said there was no time. This was very poor and unprofessional service. Our group bought a case of wine and spent 400.00. We visited many other wineries today that were absolutely wonderful and the customer service was amazing. I would not recommend this winery.

Excellent winery. Great tasting this afternoon. Loved the view across the vineyard toward the lake.

Our favourite winery in the area. Beautiful outdoor garden area. They had the best COVID policies (that they actually followed) and they were so efficient with their tastings. The wines are so good and such great value. The rose and bacchus are some of our favourites. Second year in a row visiting and I hope to be back again next year.

We had a reservation for a tasting and I was really looking forward to it because of all the lovely reviews. However, I was pretty disappointed with the service. Another couple had a tasting at the same time as us, and I felt that the advisor spent way more time explaining about the wines to them than to us. They then purchased a bottle and I saw that the advisor gave them a stamp card of some sort, and we purchased 2 bottles and we were not offered that. I don't think we will be coming back nor would we recommend them to others to do a tasting. The wines were good though, but I'd rather give another winery my money where I feel more welcomed.

We did a tasting here. The view is nice and the wine guide was nice. The wines were drier than we tend to like but I recognize that that is a personal preference. The black pepper tones in the red were somewhat unpleasant but again, personal preference.

Not my favourite, but definitely good. I bought a red blend. The outside is beautiful, the inside is a little crowded and bland. Service was okay.

Beautiful picnic area by the vineyard. Delicious wines and friendly staff. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to experience some of the best Okanagan valley wines and hospitality.

Arrowleaf Cellers has one of the most picturesque settings. We came on a Saturday with an appt for tasting. Lots of Covid protocols in place. We were hoping for some pastries but they are only sold on Sundays. They have a lovely covered waiting area.

Tasting was informative and fun. Next time we will bring a picnic lunch. And take in the view.
