Olivia is always awesome and I know I can fully trust her with my hair! I've been her client for over a year now, and every time, I leave feeling like a queen. I went through several hair colors with her and each time her work was outstanding! She truly cares about her work, and gives you an excellent advice on what would look better on you.

Since moving to Vancouver I've worked my way through the list of gender neutral stylists and barbers. I'm a woman with a short pixie/androgynous style cut and I probably went to about a dozen places and was disappointed with every one. Finally found M and they gave me the best cut I've had in years! It's clear from the start that they are seriously skilled and talented, and I didn't have to say much for them to know exactly what I wanted and how to execute it. I feel like they helped me settle back into my gender identity and expression through my hair. Highly recommend M, besides being skilled they are also just plain lovely!

Claudia always does such a great job cutting my daughter's hair. She knows what's in and her edgy style suits her cutting style.

I’ve seen Maegen a few times now for a colour or cut. She is so down-to-earth and the time just flies. Every time I leave, I get so many compliments on my new hair! Highly recommend seeing Maegen for your next hair appointment.

Carolena is incredible.

I’ve had stylists for years who only care about grey coverage by going darker and darker until my hair was basically black which inevitably made the greys problem worse. Carolena has brought me back to a beautiful chestnut brunette and has an incredible understanding of hair textures and when not to use layers. My hair has never been healthier and happier than it has been seeing her.

The salon is beautiful and open, they use incredible product and everyone else who I’ve met who works there is just genuinely the nicest.

Artel is a lovely salon and Emily performs some serious magic on my hair each time I see her! I feel no pressure to get treatments or services I don't need, she's thoughtful and an extremely talented colourist. I will keep returning to Emily (and Artel) as long as she'll have me!

The hairdresser I originally booked the appointment with got sick, but they gave me an appointment at the same day with Klaudia and I was so happy about their great organization!
Klaudia did exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love my haircut and the color!

Klaudia did an amazing job with my balayage and cut. She really listened and integrated everything I asked for, including tone, colour, blending and style. I loved how meticulous she was. I have a mixture of course/fine hair as well as cool/warm tones so it’s great to find a stylist that keeps that in mind. Also one of the best hair massages during the wash, which is always a bonus! I will be back for sure!

I called the store 30 mins prior to let them that I was going to be late, they were very accommodating and pushed back my appointment at a later time. When I got there, they seem pretty busy so I waited for a few mins but it wasn’t a problem at all. Everyone was nice and gave clear directions. Very welcoming. Overall, I love my new hair along with my curtain bangs Thank you!

Great chill place. My hair stylist was Caroline Tramier. She was excellent! She made me feel reassured and comfortable at all times. I got bangs and some layering done. You can for sure trust her with your hair. The other stylists were very uplifting as well. It was expensive but if you’re willing to invest in great skills and great experience, highly recommended!

I went in for a major color correction that needed several sessions to complete.
I had been using box dyes for over 13 years, red and browns mostly. Making it some of the hardest color to strip and get out.
Not only was maeghan amazing, kind and lovely to talk to.but she also is a GODDESS at color correction. I can't say enough how incredibly blown away I am at the results of my hair. See for yourself in the photos, from the first start to complete. I have my dream wedding hair and color

I have been trusting Allie with my hair for a few years now and she never disappoints. I have referred several friends to see her as well and they have all shared my enthusiasm about her incredible hair skills! Allie is a colour guru and always knows how to give the most flattering cuts. I have been going to Maegen Vis (@hairbymaegen) for the last 10 years. I trust her so much that I asked her to cut my long hair into a lob just two weeks before my wedding. No regrets! It looked FANTASTIC (plus she styled my hair for the wedding, so it looked double good). And she’s the only one I trust to colour my hair. If you want balayage, go to Maegen! She knows how to do balayage on my thick/dark hair without it looking like streaky highlights. In summary: 5 stars is not enough to rate how great Maegen is!

Maegen is the absolute best. I moved away from Vancouver and tried a new person-what a mistake! I will commute forever from now on. She does the most natural blended blondes that grow out beautifully. It had been over a year since I’d last seen her and you could barely tell. After the major colour fail at a different salon closer to home, Maegen was able to colour-correct perfectly. She’s fun, personable and just fantastic at colour-particularly if you love the sun kissed, blended, balayage, root smudge-y blondes. The whole salon has a positive vibe. Everyone is friendly and pleasant and they take great care with Covid protocols. I felt very very safe there.

Highly recommend Allie R! I have been seeing her for years and just recently had her do a grey blend to help with growing out my grey roots. She matched everything perfectly and I’m sooo happy with the results.

I went to ArtelSalon salon this week, I felt very comfortable entering the salon as they followed all the COVID rules. As always, Caroline did a fantastic job and I am extremely satisfied with my cut, color and style.

I have been going to Maegen Vis at Artel Cambie for years. She is incredibly professional and very skilled at her job. She takes the time to ensure my hair is healthy and styled to fit my face. Her colour is incredible and her blow outs are the best! I get so many compliments on my hair and its all because of her.

I am so thankful I found Maegen Vis at Artel. She is an exceptional hairstylist and gives a superb cut. Maegen is also the Queen of colour. She has a gift for assessing the perfect colour/highlights that look amazing. I would let my hair grow long and grey before considering going to anyone else. I was also impressed by the Covid safety plans implemented by the salon.

Maegen Vis is an amazing stylist. Before going to her I always felt like I needed to "get used to" my new hair cuts and needed to play with my hair a bit before I sort of liked it. With Maegen, I leave feeling like I look like a million bucks every time! She's seriously talented and she also has the best podcast recommendations. Five stars!

I have been to every high end salon in the lower mainland and have been highlighting my hair for over 20 years, and Maegen Vis is hands down THE BEST colourist I have ever had. She is skilled and knowledgeable and consistently gives me outstanding colour, while keeping my hair healthy. She does great cuts as well. If you're looking for a lovely human who you can completely trust with your hair, I highly recommend Maegen.

For a long time, I have been wanting to change my hair colour, but I was always too nervous about how it would look me. I'm also a nervous person when it comes to hair salons, as I'm quite shy and don't really know how to say what I want. I've only ever lightened my natural brown hair once and even that was adventurous for me!
A couple weeks ago, a friend had posted a recent hair colour change she had from Artel Salon and I was absolutely in love with the work done. I started following the salon and looked at the different styles of each hairstylist. I eventually came to Ria Jade and I'm so thankful I did!
When I finally booked my consultant appointment with Ria, it was everything I hadn't experienced before. She was kind, courteous and definitely knew what she was doing. She asked a lot of questions about my hair and how I wore it and basically what I used to take care of it. All very professional and informative. When I told her about the hair colour I wanted (a dark copper!), there was no hesitation! She looked at the photo of the hair colour I wanted and had already started playing with my hair to see what she could do.
When I actually got my hair done, it was probably the best service I ever had. Ria is absolutely amazing and so easy to talk to. My final hair transformation was beyond anything I thought could happen and I'm so so incredibly happy I chose to come to this salon for my hair. Ria told me ways to protect my hair colour and for sure brought positive vibes to my new appearance.

Caroline has done a really good job to cut my curly hair! I highly recommend her, I recently move to Vancouver and I used to go to the same salon during 12 years in my country. So that was hard for me to change and I was scared, now I am glad that I found her!

Kalli is a colour genius! I always leave looking and feeling 150 times more beautiful ️ She’s a lovely person with a wonderful personality and great sense of humour. Amazing experience! I was initially hesitant trying a new hairdresser since my usual hair colourist was unavailable. But Artel Salon delivered beyond expectations! From the first communications with Eliza, I was comfortable. I wanted to get blue hair for a very special trip, and knew it would be a challenging colour to achieve. So I decided to cut 12 inches of my hair to a complete transformation. Short - very short with the undercut. I was recommended to Raquel who specializes in short styles, and the result was just amazing!
I came to salon with a bunch of pics, how do I want to look like. (I have to say I was very indecisive, every picture had a different style ‍️) We talked about the styles and recommendation for more than 15 mins, and she was just incredibly patient with me, and she suggested the best approach based on my texture. Well, and the results? Ahhh. I loved it; everyone loved it. I got there two months later for a makeover with another series of pictures and Raquel did a fantastic job again. I would recommend Artel salon to anyone who doesn't exactly know what style would suit them or even to someone who wants to copy the latest #shorthair IG tags!

Awesome experience! Veronica Stone not only has a superhero name, what she did for my hair was nothing short of a rescue. My hair looked absolutely ridiculous, to the point where I was wearing it in a ponytail every day since it was too much work to make it look normal. She did an incredible balayage and cut, but my favourite part was the consultation. Every haircut I’ve had before, I would tell them to PLEASE make it low maintenance. They give me a cut that looks great til I wash it. Then no more I work outside and have two kids, even blow drying it is beyond me most days. She gave me a cut that brought out the natural curl, just like I wanted, so I can just wash it and let it air dry, but also looks great blow dried straight. The colour is warm and well placed. She even showed me some stuff with the blow dryer and straightener that I thought were tricks of the trade and forbidden to tell outsiders. One hundred percent happy. Highly recommend!
