Repeatedly let down and disappointed. Needing medication for the last 2 weeks and staff have no made any attempts to help resolve the issue. Being told that I would be in contact with my doctor for a prescription I need when no follow up ever happens. So sad. Just another understaffed overworked medical practice.

I have personally worked in the Government Health Care industry for over thirty years. The receptionist Diana, is beyond rude and is in need of proper training. She has been beyond rude and totally incompetent to be working with the citizens of Ashcroft. I am a Mental Health and Substance Use Proffesional. This employee needs training to speak to individuals with respect.

If I could give zero stars I would.
If you would like a clinic that doesn't inform you your doctor no longer works there this is the clinic for you.
If you would like a clinic that doesn't know how to fax a referral also the clinic for you.
If you would like to call them to ask them to fax said referral on a regular basis this is, again, the clinic for you
If you need a requisition for an xray that is apparently 100% needed for said referral, you have to call Telus Health.
Thanks for nothing Ashcroft Clinic. No wonder you can't find doctors, so unorganized.

My husband and I have been patients of three successive physicians at the Ashcroft Medical Practice over six years; and though we drive in about an hour and a half, we find the staff attentive, efficient and accommodating. Our present doctor, Dr. Adetola, is both a listener and a responder-ensuring we are lined up with specialists and necessary testing-and is also a kind and caring person. The fact that bloodwork and x-rays can be done within the same facility only adds to this centre's well-deserved reputation as a health centre with a big heart.

I was told by Dr Adetola that he thought my results were fine but couldn't remember. So he said he would look again and tell me on my next visit. Well my next visit I asked him again and he proceeded to tell me that he will not discuss results unless the appointment was specifically made for it. So I turned to my husband and said I wonder what could be wrong and Dr Adetola scolded me a second time. I left the office and canceled my next appointment so I could calm down and rebook to discuss the poor treatment. I went in for my appointment after the canceled one to discover that he dropped me with NO notice of any kind. The lady at the desk encouraged me to apply to the female Doctor, so I did. It has been over a year since I have requested the female doctor and still no communication. Than I found out from the sleep clinic that I have high blood pressure and Dr Adetola called them to confirm the result, but he never contacted me. I have had a case of swelling lips, that have done so several times. Was told to go into emergency since there were no other symptoms that are related to allergies and a nurse look at me called the Doctor and then sent me home with no testing done and told me it was not a concern and said call 811. Keep in mind my lips swelled to the point of bleeding and recurred several times. Now I am stuck at home in a small community IN PAIN losing sleep and hoping I get bad enough for a ambulance ride to Kamloops. Oh and remember he though my results were fine, but proceeded to inject me with B12 (I know it only a vitamin, but this is prime example of poor communication and vitamin or not if I am so fine than why inject me in the first place huh? Honestly this has been a terrible experience and definitely feel isolated by this centre now.

This office has terrible service, you have to go in over and over again to get CT scans, Mammograms etc ordered, you have to follow up for months to get paperwork filled out, you get told be reception that certain things are completed when they are not, they just try to put you off, this is people's health and livelihoods they are messing around with. If you have another option, take it.

Booked a phone appointment, (only option due to covid), waited by the phone for 1/2hr, called the office to make sure I had the correct time. The receptionist confirmed time. Waited for another 1/2hr, no call. Called back to reschedule but reception didn't pickup. Tried calling a few times still no answer. 2 hrs after my appointment and still no call, no answer from the office. What a waste of time! Terrible service
