Good selection. Really reasonable prices. And and Sam who helped us was so nice. Really helpful but with no pressure. My mom is not the easiest customer and we left very satisfied with a recliner and likely coming back for more.

I really needed an electric recliner. I took one home I thought I would like but it wasn’t a good fit after sitting in it awhile. The salesman, Rick, was very understanding and we returned it this morning
He helped us work our way through many other chairs and we ended upgrading our existing love seat recliner to a new electric one. We’re very happy with the service we received. We will shop at Ashley again!

Rick has been helping us out with choosing a mattress and he's been fantastic! Lots of knowledge, very friendly and not trying to upsell us at all. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant experience both days with Staff Sakshi the first day and Rick the next day where I made my final purchases. Both very helpful professional and personable. Sakshi getting extra info I asked for and giving measurements and texting me about the product to make my decision later. Rick helping me with colors and even held up one of the couch cushions to the giant display screen to give me an idea on how the color of the chairs would look as a set. It was a hot day and was even offered bottled water which I gratefully accepted. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and even got a sale discount. This is my favourite store in the Comox Valley. I bought my couch, my mattress set and a few other items. I keep going back because they are the best in the valley.
You will never be disappointed.

Sam is the best to work with! She goes above and beyond, even when you’re as picky and specific as I am! It’s been an incredible experience. They were also so accommodating with my work schedule and getting things delivered. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

Even though we were unable to get what we needed, the staff made a few suggestions and offered alternatives that worked out perfect, was very pleased.

We paid $1800 for a small couch on sale a year ago. Within a month, the arm had cracked, the fabric was separating and threads are pulled, the cushions are lumpy and misshapen, sagging ends etc. Our kids are not young enough that they abuse the couch. We are a young family that bought our first piece of furniture for our family and I regret it daily as we have no ability to get a new one right now. The salesman Rick preyed on us as first time nervous buyers and oversold us a Guardsman warranty for an extra 200 bucks. When I contacted Guardsman, they do not even cover what is advertised in the plan because I would have to claim every single out of place thread separately (almost 50 claims at this point). I claimed all the defects at once unknowingly (their online form says nothing about this precluding a claim) so now none of it is covered. When we asked Rick and Jazz for assistance on this, it was "out of their hands" despite them selling us a poorly made couch and a scam warranty. By the way, you get 200 dollars credit to Ashley if you don't use the warranty, but yet their furniture is so low quality for the price tag good luck! Moral of the story - this company cares only about making a buck and will upsell a young family trying to make ends meet.

Went in looking for 2 different type of chairs, one armchair and a recliner. Took home same day. We were not worried about color but the salesman suggested another colour for the recliner to kinda match the chair, glad he did. The colors suit our den. Excellent, helpful service. Will be back in the future for a couch.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Sam from the Courtney store. I work long days and long hours out of town but I really needed to get something ordered. She had no problem texting any time I was able to get back to her. She was quick, friendly and just overall the best sales person I’ve ever worked with. I thought I missed out on a couch they had in stock, but thankfully due to her due diligence, it ended up being a miscommunication and she had what I needed! I’m super excited that I will have the perfect couch for my new home:)

We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing service we received at the Ashley Courtenay store. The Ashley stores on the Mainland have brutal service! Rick was both helpful & honest with us. He helped us first with a sofa bed then with his understanding of what we were trying to achieve in our dining room, showed us some beautiful chairs. There was no pressure. I came back later to take the chair home to see how it would compliment our table… ordered 6! You don’t get that type of service on the Mainland! Thankyou Rick! You have renewed my faith in Humanity.

Our experience at Ashley’s was 10 out of 10. We were in the market for a sectional couch and an accent chair for our new condo being built. We ended up doing a special order and were able to choose from a plethora of fabrics. The advice given to us from the sales person was right on and very helpful. The couch came in in November. We were supposed to be in our condo inDecember but because the supply chain, labour issues, and Covid things have been delayed. They have graciously offered to store our purchase there until we are ready to move into our new condo. We still have more to buy and will not hesitate to choose Ashley‘s furniture as a destination for quality furniture and accessories. Looking forward for a condo to be done And returning for more items.

Living on Vancouver Island, your choices of furniture stores is limited compared to the lower mainland where we previously lived. We bought a pair of couches but got cold feet once we got home. So the day after we called and canceled our order. Dealing with Sam was such a pleasure. No pressure at all, she gave us an excellent price. We will definitely be back to shop for furniture there in the future.

I bought a couch at Asley furniture and after a few years the metal pieces under the cushions made holes in my cushion covers, what kind of a cheap couch is this and it wasn't cheap, I'm the only one sitting on it. I called Ashley and spoke to them, they couldn't care aless, couch was probably made from rotten material in the first place.

My husband and I were shopping for a new bed and bed frame so we decided to check out Ashley’s. Rick came and greeted us and asked if he could help. He offered pros and cons but gave us time to discuss. He wasn’t pushy and told us to take our time and this was a big purchase. We told him what we were looking for and he recommended we try 4 beds. His knowledge of the products were great, it really made us feel comfortable investing in our sleep. I would recommend Rick to anyone looking for someone who knows their stuff.

Our furniture consultant (Jazz) provided us with excellent professional service and was very knowledgeable on the product lines & options available for us to consider. With his guidance we opted for a Stylus sofa with chaise and ottoman. Can't wait to receive them and hopefully this package will complete the good experience we had at the store.

I went into Ashley Home Store looking for a particular piece of furniture. I was greeted by Desiree who was able to show me exactly what I wanted after describing it to her. Jazz was able to work with me to bring this into my budget, making this one of the easiest shopping experiences with excellent customer service.

I recently bought my first home and needed to furnish the entire place. Numerous trips to various stores always had me returning to Ashley. From the first time I walked through the doors and was greeted by Jeremy I knew that I would be back time and again especially for the customer service. After much anticipation of my furniture delivery today I had a minor disappointment when it was too large to be delivered. Another visit to the store and within a short time Jeremy was able to accommodate my situation and I am walking away smiling.
