Really good food, I tried appetizers and sweet chilli cauliflower and samosa chaat is just amazing.

Nice place, very cosy atmosphere with the decorations and the music. Good seating as well and nice servers as well, and of course the food was delicious and very filling!

The ladies at the front are always friendly and conversational in person and on the phone. I wanted to add some peas (muttar) to my methi malai paneer, and it was accommodated happily with no problem or extra charge. It was absolutely delicious, of course. (I highly recommend it if you're looking to try something new. Not spicy per se, but very, very flavorful.) I love the food here.

Everything was nice and clean.
They have 4 spicy levels; mild, medium, spicy and very spicy. We ordered medium chicken corma and spicy chicken vindaloo. I did not find big difference between medium and spicy. Spicy one was not too too spicy.

It’s a nice place with delicious food and very professional and trained staff. Our attendant was Pabble and she was very good and keep on checking with us to take care of our needs.

Ordered butter chicken, rice and chicken pakoras. Rice was cooked very well and had a great flavour. The pakoras were similarly very good. The butter chicken however was sub-par to my usual order from Indian Affair.

The butter chicken curry was runny, as though there was no cream used when it was made. The flavour was also “watered down” vs what I would have traditionally expected. A shame

The food was absolutely perfect and delicious.cozy and nice place. We enjoyed the food and portions were perfect size the most amazing thing I noticed was the server was extremely polite, and caring and service was top notch. She treated some very old folks with so much patience and a little girl with absolute love and care so good job on exceptional customer service. 10/10:). Highly recommended and we tried pani puri:)

Wow! My first meal from Ashoka in a while and, wow, so good! Might have been a smidge over 'medium' spice, but I love it. Tender lamb, tasty korma, muttar paneer with young, tender peas (which is a pet peeve of mine; those tough, old cow peas!) Ashoka re-takes #1 spot in Langley!

Just went there today with family, everything from food to service was amazing. For food the taste, quality and quantity was to the point and the service was also very warm and welcoming. Must try. Hidden gem.

I had a take out special lunch it’s included lamb roganjosh, tandoori naan or roti, plain rice and salad. If you need you can have half of tandoori naan and get vegetable pakora there is an option available. The waitress Miss sapneeth was provide excellent service and explained about the different lunch specials. The food was excellent. The lamb cooked very well and I ordered mild and it was up to my palate.

Ordered from them all the time then recently they changed delivery area or something and we can no longer order. Very sad as the food is great.

Firstly, the restaurant was very cold. Had to to tell them to turn on the heat. Secondly, the food portions were very small and overpriced. Service was good. Overall will not be coming back as their prices are to high for such small portions of food.

I hve ordered the smosa & tiki chna and chat papdi.to be onest the taste is awful.it was not worth to spend $32

For $38 we ordered Combo A

Butter chicken, channa masala, two pieces of tandoori naan, rice, raita, and two vegetable samosas.

It was so delicious and it was large portions, would for sure feed a family of 4

Today i went to the restaurant at 8: 55 pm and the restaurant was about to close.
The girl named SHRI was exceptionally good and helpful
She prepared potato paranthi for my son and she prepared even she was about to close the restaurant
She went oit of the way and prepared a tawa parntha in exactly the manner my son likes and it was soo delicious!
He enjoyed a lot and relished each and every bite of it

Nice delicious food. Delivery, take out & dine in for your conveniency. Fair priced. I think the only thing I would change is the Masala used on the batter for the samosa. We got med/spicy butter chicken wich tasted like spicy spicy lol but me and my wife like spicy so we didn't complain. The butter chicken & Garlic Naan is probably the best ive had from any east Indian restaurant sofar! Would definitely get from here again without a doubt. A pleasant first time experience.

I have been to at least more than 100 Indian restaurants and have been disappointed every time. This is the first one where I enjoyed my meal fully. Very authentic taste, very good food.

Great place! Loved the quality of the ingredients and the fresh preparation. Tasty and Healthy! They don’t use old stuff/generic food chemicals which give you indigestion. Rare place - definitely coming back.

Went on new years eve. We only ordered noodles and ras malai for food. They took like 45 mins to bring that order and we were the only ones who were dining in. Food was ok but service was not at all good.

This one is only for the staff. To the management- if u can replace the staff, pls do bcoz ur staff got utmost low standards of customer service. All people in the kitchen preparing food be it that bor or the ladies, they are really rude to customers. With no rush in the restaurant, the staff was chit chatting in the back without any idea that customers are waiting and they were very cool abt it. I blv these 4.5stars for this restaurant are probably paid. There are far better indian food places out thr that have far better staff. This one really deserves a minus 5. Pathetic

I've been ordering butter chicken, saag chicken and kadai chicken from Ashoka and I absolutely love their blend of spices and flavor in all the curries. Even Mango chicken, which I was reluctant to order, is surprisingly good. I've never regretted ordering from here, it's always worth it <3

Staff are always lovely. Good is absolutely delicious, and plenty of options for different dietary restrictions and lifestyles.

Phenomenal food and staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend. Had Chicken Samosa and curry chicken with rice and it was amazing. Last time I ordered it was the chicken vindaloo.

Excellent, authentic Indian cuisine. I highly recommend the Channa Samosa and Fish Masala, both are flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The saag (spinach) is really good as well! All-in-all the food has been consistently delicious every time that I've visited, and I would highly recommend that you give them a shot, even if Indian food is not your go-to.

I like my food spicier than normally available, and I've had excellent service, staff have always been happy to comply with any requests I've made for extra spicy sauce or chutney etc.

Bonus: Try the Lassi, it's made fresh to order and you can specify if you want any changes made before hand.

I got a bunch of different stuff and everything was delicious! Pakora, chai, lamb curry, butter chicken, naan, raita, and ras malai. Prices are reasonable and so are the portions. This place is now one of my favourites in Langley.

Nice cosy indian place, what I liked about the place most they didn't play bollywood or punjabi music. Infact they were Christmas songs.second I've never eaten tandoori chicken as sizzler.well quite a fusion, but I liked it.as the aroma of the tandoori chicken just made me hungry more.the goat curry naan was perfect, except I felt the portion of rice was bit less.overall great experience

My favourite indian restaurant in langley. They have the best masala chai in town and authentic recipes. Love the people there, really kind and family operated. I highly recommend!

My family and I have ordered multiple times and dined in to Ashoka once. We’ve always had a great experience with awesome tasting food up until tonight. We ordered through skip the dishes this evening and I am appalled at the customer service. We ordered 6 naan, a butter chicken and a side of butter chicken sauce without the meat as my mother is vegetarian. We ended up getting no chicken at all in the main butter chicken and no rice (which comes with the food without charge when you order, except we didn’t get it). We weren’t that bothered about it but we decided to give the restaurant a call to see if we can have it fixed. We called and they rudely asked my Mother to be more clear when we order, we ended the call and then the restaurant called back saying they weren’t going to bring us a fixed order without charge or refund us. Eventually they agreed to send us the butter chicken and rice. When the driver arrived my family and i agreed that we weren’t going to take the food since their attitude was absolutely disgusting and we didn’t know what they could do to the food. The driver made me take it after i declined several times (Yes, I did call the restaurant to say we didn’t want the food and to forget about it but by the time I called the driver had already left to deliver the food to us). Once I got the food, I thanked the driver and opened the food to see what was given to us after arguing for about 20 minutes, I saw dried, yellow chicken with absolutely no sauce in the container and some rice. I appreciate the fact they gave us food but I can’t even begin to describe how bad the chicken looked. I understand that there may have been a language barrier but the way that chicken looked was just insulting. It was absolutely a unbelievable experience, I have NEVER experienced something like this before from a business. My family and I will never order from there again and will discourage people from ordering there. I wish I could include the picture of the chicken but adding a picture to a review is not an option. Long story short, absolutely appalled by this business.

Order 15 plates CHANNA BHATURA in total total and the quantity of channa and Raita is not even enough for 7 people. I had to order extra plates from other restaurants on the spot.

Best food in town! We order regularly from here and we enjoy every time. Friendly staff and great taste.

Food was okay. But I felt serviceis bad. Staff was not responsive enough. I had to raise hand few times to get water replenish. Staff was eager to bring the bill very fast without even asking me. I was about to order a desert after a big meal, but I got the bill already. It felt like they want me to leave the place even though it's not late and not busy over there. Most likely, will never visit this place again.

Our waitress was polite and the Lamb curry delicious. The vegy pakora light and fluffy. We finished our meal with chai tea. Perfecly seasoned and sweetened. We certainly will make this restaurant a favorite.

They mess up our order and then we're 45.mims late after the skip the dishes drives was there wait worst ever we will never call them again plus the woman that answers the phone was a rude and nasty when we called and asked we're our food 15$ for 6 small bits of chicken.very unhappy don't waste your time there.booooo.

Best restaurant for people would like to eat multiple varieties of food. Taste of food is superb at its best as freshly cooked straight from kitchen to table.

We used to have a favourite go to Indian restaurant in Vancouver.since we found Ashoka we have stopped driving into Vancouver.all the dishes here are very good.

This is one of my very favourite restaurants in Langley (so much so, despite having moved to Vancouver, I still go to Langley to order from Ashoka.) The food is consistently excellent, the menu has incredible variety, and the quality of service is always fantastic. Highly, highly recommended!

Very good food. The Tandoor Chicken was very delicious and sizzling very nicely on the plate. I wish I live closer to this restaurant. Everyone here is very nice and easy to talk to. Great place!

Food was fresh, great naan breads and Lamb Biryani. I wasn’t keen on their version of butter chicken but that’s just me.

My family and I have been to Cross Culture twice since it's opening. We have been pleased to find the dishes very good. We have ordered the bhindi masala which was wonderful tasting (although I would have loved more okra), vindaloo, and a vegetarian dish that I have forgotten the name of We will definitely be heading there again soon.

We tried this place for the first time today. We ordered Combo A which includes a butter chicken, channa masala, 2 tandoori naan, rice, raita, and 2 vegie samosas for $34. We asked for the medium spicy. We all loved it. My kids (8 & 9 yrs old) enjoyed it very much. Price was reasonable.will be back.

Wonderful service and delicious food! I got the spicy butter chicken thali special and it wasn't overwhelming with spices, but comforting to the palate with the accompanied salad and sides. The butter chicken lunch special was tender and savory. Fresh naan is the best! The samosas were a little over fried since the crust was harder than usual, but overall the filling was delicious with the chutney dip. The kind service and humbling decor makes the meal taste like its made straight from mamas kitchen. Thank you for lunch today

This is the best place to eat for lunch. We love their butter chicken. Their meals are so delicious. Your in for a treat. We always enjoy their lunch special butter chicken. And the staff are all so friendly and sweet. It's an enjoyable experiounce.

Waitress was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Taste was authentic and dishes were detailed oriented. Even received complimentary sweet dish (Gulab Jamuns). Thoroughly enjoyed and packed for the road.

Food was excellent as was the service. Chili chicken, cashew chicken all delicious very fresh tasting with great flavors and superb naan, what's not to like.

Hands down my new favorite Indian Restaurant. It's authentic, intimate dining atmosphere, and attentive staff make this restaurant a must try. There was a bit of confusion at the table, I'd never order the particular dish before and assumed it was the main since it was brought out with what my Boyfriend ordered as a main. I did have to go and ask for the rest of the food until I figured it out. The staff offer a free dessert even thought it was MY error, they were amazing. The food was fresh and flavorful and the menu extensive, there is something for everyone. Our waiter was also a great saleman trying to upsele or offer better deals to everyone he interacted with. I would 100% return.

The food was really nice.good ambience, friendly staff.the orders were prompt and servings were generous.
The daal makhni was delicious and the paneer tikka masala was good as well.we tried the seekh kabab which we great as well.
Overall a great place for dinner and lunches as well.

Discovered this Indian Restaurant some years ago and have been frequenting it threw several owners to the current proprietor.
