Aspire Martial Arts

I highly recommend Aspire Martial Arts. Since I have joined Taekwondo I have become a lot more confident in myself, which is something I have always struggled with. It has changed my life in many ways. Mr. John and Ms. John are very professional, kind and always make me feel comfortable in their facility. Not only are they good with Children but also good with teaching adults.

My daughter and I have been doing taekwondo at this school for over ten years. The whole experience has been amazing from the moment she started (I joined a few months later when I realized I could be getting exercise instead of sitting watching the class). Her confidence level has soared, and she adores the instructors. As for me, I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life and I've found a new level of confidence too. We have both progressed to the 2nd degree black belt level, and have recently started taking the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class on Fridays as well, which is intensely challenging and fun.

There are students of all ages and skill levels in our classes. The instructors manage the classes very well, so there is no boredom or standing around; I feel like I learn so much at every session that I hate missing class for any reason. There's a nice balance between the self-defence component and the sport/competition component of what we're learning.

I never thought I would be able to do something like this, but the instructors are patient and encouraging and I feel like with time I will be able to achieve anything I try hard for. Taekwondo takes a bit of commitment and is a lifestyle change as well as a sport, but it's truly one of the best things my daughter and I have ever done.

I personally use to think this would be an amazing experience. Which my son did enjoy for a bit. But the extra costs get out of hand. I signed the agreement at the start of last year's September. And when I was ending it, I emailed them 2 weeks before. They called me on September 5th and stated that they were taking another months payment since I didn't tell them a month before. How is someone suppose to remember an agreement from a year ago? I tried to negotiate but they wouldn't budge. We told them at the end of July we were ending the agreement and they didn't tell me then I needed to send an email a month before. There are many additional costs and make sure to read the agreement and save it because they won't listen.

The instructors here are incredibly passionate and insightful about taekwondo. I had such a fun experience in my short time with them.

I’ve been watching my friend take part in Mr. Johns class, and must say his dedication and passion to providing taekwondo to kids and adults of all ages is impeccable. I took one class for an appreciation day they were offering and had an amazing time learning a thing or two and having him reassure and applaud my attempts made me feel amazing by the end of the class. Anyone would be so lucky to have learn a thing or two from this amazing school

My son has been attending classes here since April. Not only do they teach tae kwon do. They also teach respect and life skills. The change in my son is remarkable in such a short period of time. The instructors definitely go above and beyond.

Great place, the instructors are amazing. My son and I both train here and its been so good for my sons asd.

My Family has been attending Aspire Martial Arts for 6 years, first with my son joining, and then my daughter joining because she saw how much her brother was enjoying it (and that he was breaking boards with punches) and now myself (because who wants to miss out on breaking boards with punches).

The instructors are incredible, they encourage the students to work hard, be respectful, have self discipline and to have FUN. They have created a space and community where students are able to seek extra help, receive one on one training, as well as train to be leaders themselves. Aspire Martial Arts offers a wide selection of training and specialized courses throughout the year which allows students of all levels to further their training. We would highly recommend Aspire Martial Arts!

I started at ASpire Martial Arts this past January as cross training for competitive curling and it's been great! After the first month I noticed a significant change in my overall fitness level and saw the benefits transfer over to my other athletic activities. I have also seen an improvement in my memory skills with the memory work assigned for each cycle and the required memorization of the forms.

The teachers are fantastic and super accommodating. If you're struggling with something, the instructors will work with you one on one (depending on time and class size) during the small group sessions. The arrangement of being grouped with students working towards a similar belt rank has been helpful as we can work together towards the same goal with an instructor focused on our progress. The optional addition of sparring sessions (through the Black Belt Club) is also a benefit!

If you're thinking about registering yourself or your child into Taekwondo, I would definitely suggest this school:)

After having taken classes for several weeks, this team is consistent and professional. Being a novice myself, their unending patience has helped me tremendously in advancing my self defence skills. They offer several different classes as well, all dynamically geared to different skill levels and experience. I would recommend their courses to anyone.
