They took such good care of my daughter when I no longer could. They treated her with so much dignity and respect. Assmans is a great funeral home. They show compassion and empathy at the worst time in someone's life. Irene was amazing and am eternally grateful to her.

Very excellent service and well explained during a difficult time when I was not fully understanding the details that were needed at every step of the process. We were able to make plans for the funeral event. Dad was well cared for Thank you Assman's Funeral Chapel

The staff were all kind and explained the whole process clearly. They added in extra touches of who my loved one was, because they took the time to sit down with us and listen to us. They are very understanding, compassionate and supportive.

One of the hardest days of my life was the passing of my Dad and then the day I had to pick up my Dad's ashes up. We were told at the time when we paid our thoundsands of dollars for their service, the date Dad would be ready for pick up. I called and confirmed pick up time on the date they gave us. My mom and sister and I went to pick Dad up and was told - oh they made a mistake and he is not ready because they had a service.
So unless you have a big service I guess your loved one is less important. We were heart broken and emotionally spent after experiencing this service practice
I would not recommend this funeral home after our experience. They did a good job preparing our Dad for us to say goodbye but I really feel we got less service because we did not pay for a full funeral package.
It took us 8 days to get an appt with the funeral home to start this meant Dad had to stay in the morgue at the hospital the whole time waiting to be picked up. Then another week before they could do the cremation and then when we got there to pick him up they send us way and say oops he's ot ready be ause we are doing a funeral. So unexceptable - we are also having a celebration of life and I so happy we are not using this company to do this for us. I am angry, sad and heartbroken that I could not bring my Dad home today when our family was all together to do it.

Everything went very smooth Len and I had preplanned and prepaid for what we wanted to be done and had everything setup ahead of time.

The staff at the funeral home was very professional and was always there to assist with any questions or concerns. The response time was excellent and the whole experience went very smooth.

It really helps when you have everything prepaid and things setup ahead of time. Papers, wills, power of attorney, bank accounts, in place as there is a lot of paperwork to be completed and it you have things in order it will make a big difference.

You need a lot of information so know and have birth certificates, marriage licenses, parents full names and birth places as you will need all this information. It is a hard time and it will make things a lot less painful if you have all the information together ahead of time.
