I got a quick shave here and the experience was really nice.the person doing the shoe knew what they were doing and they were very careful with the blade.

I will definitely come back here in the future If I need a haircut or another shave.

I come here once a month for a cleanup, my goto barber is Farshad and he always does a great job. The staff are nice and friendly as well.

Been following Farshad away from one location to another. Best haircut, beard trim service. We don’t use anyone else. My entire family, my dad, kids …best place ever.

Went to Athens yesterday evening after 8pm and was super lucky to get my hair cut and styled by Ghezal, I let her work her magic and was very surprised at the quality of her work and the quickness that she could come up with a cut and style that worked with the way my hair naturally flowed. I will definitely be coming back to get my hair done from Ghezal again. Thanks for giving me a fantastic look.

I would like to share a rude experience by the barber Jalal at Athens. I am regular customer of Athens for one year and Khalid used to cut hair for me. He is very professional and friendly. I came for haircut at 6: 30 pm and Khalid was not working on Sunday. A haircutter called Jalal (lebenese guy) started trimming my hair so fast and it started hurting my back. He was so quick and unprofessional. When told him to trim slow as it was hurting, this guy stopped at the middle of the cut and told me, you can get refund and Khalid can cut for you tomorrow. This is not the way customers should be treated and inappropriate behaviour from Barber “JALAL”. I will never goto this place anymore. Jalal was so rude and arrogant. Never goto that person for haircut but Khalid is great.

5 star 100% Khalid’s my main man. 100% perfect job every time and super quick. Also awesome guy. Edie, Awesome guy as well and does an amazing Job there’s been times Khalid’s been on vacation or I’ve waited until last minute and I’ve had the other Barbers in the shop do my hair and they are honestly all amazing. Khalid did a good haircut. Not expensive place. It's not easy to find a good place like this for a haircut in Metrotown mall. Referred to my friends, they loved this place too.

I had the worst experience haircutting at this place. Helen was full of attitude and constantly scoffed every time I had a request and proceeded to go heavier and use more force on my head that I have red marks over it. The haircut was very unprofessionally done. I read all the positive reviews and just wanted a simple 2 block. Helen constantly asked for an exact picture which is impossible and just kept having attitude throughout. I paid the full bill and left. I had hair all over my shoes, pants and shirt. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! I am very disappointed and probably won’t return.

Awesome! I went there on Sunday 2 hours before they close. Went in for men's haircut and no line ups, no reservations. Everyone was welcoming and they also have a greeter and seats for customers to wait inside.

Dino was my barber and usually I prefer to cut my hair on full hawk faded with line on either side of my head. Upon walking in I was greeted and sat down right away, Dino ask what kind of haircut I wanted so showed him something similar on my phone and he said ok no problem.

In the end everything was perfect and clean. I am happy with there service!

The worst walk in experience I have ever had. I lined up for over 30 min without no acknowledgement, no telling of where I am in the line, and how long I need to wait. People just walked in and had haircut even though they came after us. The store needs to come up with a better system.

Although they only do men’s hair styling& cuts I love accompanying my boyfriend because the staff is so friendly and welcoming.

My son goes here for about five years now. We always come and see Lydia, she is very nice and friendly. The place is always busy and they didn't accept appointment. Waiting time is pretty much understandable. I never have any concerns about how she cut my son's hair.

The one and only place I go for a good haircut. I've been a regular client for over 5 years now and I can say that this is by far the best mens hair saloon in MetroVancouver. The shop is full of friendly and experienced stylists with short waiting lines and great prices.

I was very disappointed having seen my haircut when i cut home. I asked for a fade but my barber just traced an outline and did not even fade it in. Now i have an ugly patch of hair that sits on the back of my head

Asked for a simple cut, and it was completely butchered, bangs weren't straight, neckline uneven, and the sides are uneven too.

I have been going to Athens for years now. Place is always packed so make sure you phone in for an appointment prior to heading to the mall. I always go see Lydia. I have never been disappointed. Lydia is great. Place is clean. Line up may appear long but the wait has always been reasonable.

I have been getting my hair cut at Athens for nearly 20 yrs but after getting 4 bad haircuts in a row, I'm done. The barbers need to let go of their vanity and put their eyeglasses on.

I have been getting my hair cut here since I was 17 by Lena. She is the most amazing hair dresser. But sadly today she was not there, even though I called yesterday and they said she would be. That is where this 1 star comes from. I had a, I believe, Filipino women cut my hair today. She completely screwed it up. The top was ok, but when I asked her to just CLEAN UP my beard. She cut it completely off. My beard is a huge part of my image (as some men can understand) I asked her to just clean it up and said specifically that i didnt want it shorter. Just cleaned up. I can hardly pinch it in my fingers now. When I voiced my displeasure, she laughed and made it seem like no big deal. Everytime I voiced by frustration, she responded with a laugh. This was not funny to me. Very unprofessional and I sadly will likely not be returning do to this experience.

This place is a joke, i went in there cause of decent reviews, boy was i wrong, i sat down and the girl at the front desk gave me a weird look and asked what i needed.well you work at a hair salon. What do you think i really came for. Air head, obviously not to order food right? Then she told me to go sit over at the wrong seat, and i was redirected by this this bald burly fella. I shoulda known a butcher when i saw one, i tell this man simple instructions. Bottom almost zero, a fade. Top thin it out abit for layers to make it look spiky, My mistake for expecting a guy going bald to comprehend that, instead he started trimming my head saying my side is not even and said he was fixing it. End result i have a lope sided buzz cut when i asked for for a minor clean up and fade. I could have used a shaver and did this crime to my own hair, instead i paid a butcher 19.25 to do it. First and last time im ever coming here, thanks Athens for making me look like a goofy for the next 3 weeks, if giving bad hair cuts was a crime, that man should be locked up for for the amount of time your hair grows back out, word of advise, never let a bald guy try to style your head. I feel sick i even have to give this place a star

Been going to athens for many years, service is always great, and my barber jalalalways gives the best, any cut i want, its always great, fast and friendly, i won't anywhere else for a cut.

The main problem with the customer service is the lack of front desk support. Across three sepetate attempts on different days to get a haircut here, reception has been entirely absent and there's no way to meaningfully get information on actually getting service.

It often falls to the stylists to watch the door and come over to address you. Reception on several occasions was missing or seemed to be preoccupied with socializing. I was very willing to give it a fresh start, but after not being addressed three seperate times, it's time to try somewhere else.

I went in skeptical because of certain reviews, and was worried because I had an important event coming up and needed a solid cut. Astivan was great and knew how I would want my hair cut without me needing to show a photo, but it still helped. Friendly service from the staff I interacted with. Came in close to 9pm and it was clear he wasn't trying to rush home like some other barbers can often do. Great cut.
