I have shopped here a number of times and have always been impressed by the level of customer service. Staff was very helpful, and what I especially appreciated was that they’re not trying to sell you the most expensive item that they have, but the item that’ll work best for you. That’s rare these days - so I need to offer my applause. Thanks guys!

As far as the in store experience went, I did not have an issue with the staff or atmosphere of Atmosphere. The store is a comfortable space with well selected products and friendly staff. My problems started when I ordered a shoe size that needed to be delivered from another location. I don't recommend having Atmosphere ship your products. Here's the short version of my experience:
I needed shoes, they were supposedly delivered to me. Except I never got them. Though I was prompt in addressing the problem Atmosphere was not. After an unreasonably long time I finally got the shoes I wanted. Though only after purchasing the same pair a second time, and at the cost of three weeks, undo effort on my end, and having to endure very poor customer service.

It seems Atmosphere's shipped orders are all counted as "online" orders, even if you order them through the staff in the store. This is a problem, as it appears there is zero communication between the physical locations and their "online" logistics. It would be useful if staff could help customers with shipped orders. So, they should fix that.
Also, if you're telling all your customers that they have to contact the shipping company about missing or undelivered orders, then freaking tell us who the shipping company is!
Finally, it's silly that the customer service will do nothing for you until it's been five days since your supposed delivery date. I mean, they could have at least responded to my first inquiry.

My daughter needed a good warm coat for Edmonton weather and found the perfect style, color, and fit. They're return policy is excellent and the salesperson (Hanna) who helped us was very informative and friendly. She went above and beyond with all our questions and concerns. Thank you!

Just had a excellent experience with Max, I believe that was his name, I was in on Dec 2nd around 8 looking for a sleeping bag, very friendly, easy to talk to and had a absolute wealth of knowledge. I felt like he listened to what I was looking for in some gear, had valuable insight, and made the shopping experience very welcoming and fun for me. I've actually always had a awesome experience at this location, it's really the only place I go/recommend to my friends to go for outdoor gear, so hell yeah. You guys should throw a pizza party for your staff

Atmosphere is a Canadian brand. This store is great for outdoor, hiking, camping and adventure equipments. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. What I love about this store is that they will price match with any other business with in Canada so you get the best deal. They have products for all ages. Store is very well maintained. They have a great customer service and return policy. They have curbside pick up now which is really cool specially if you don't want to go in on busy days like boxing day. Overall this is one my favorite stores to shop?

Max is great! We were looking for a bunch of new equipment and Max was super helpful and knowledgeable on every single item. He was very patient with us and probably spent about an hour going through details on the different products. This is someone who loves what he does!

Limited stock due to size of the store. Very good customer service skill, especially Hannah. She was very caring and patient:)

While in store shopping the customer service is good. Their website is horrendous at accurately depicting current inventory levels. On multiple occasions it has shown to be in stock and I show up to find the store employees can’t find it. Has also happened on online order, where multiple items have been processed only to get an email days later saying one item has shipped and another item has been cancelled. Email is sent too late to cancel the remaining order. Will avoid store at all cost now.

Enjoyable store. Easy to browse, with a good selection of products and helpful staff. Personally, I would rather the staff was more hands off, as the amount of times they checked in came across pushy. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great service. I was in store to buy hiking boots 3 weeks ago and had great service! Today we bought a pair of boots as a gift but they were a size small. David was super helpful on the phone and got us a pair online in the size we needed. Recommend Atmosphere to all my hiking friends.

SUPER helpful staff. Everyone I ran into had a love for the outdoors and shared their recommendations based on experience. Always have some deals going on (for example, I scored some Merino wool hiking socks for 4 dollars a pair.regular $25). Great selection in a small space. Kind of like Costco when I go there. I go for one thing I need and then end up buying a few more things because they are really cool:)

Stopped by the store to check out a kayak I have been eyeing up, Don was there to answer some questions I had and shared some of his knowledge on kayaks with me, definitely learned a few things! Helped me with my decision on the kayak I wanted, and was very easy to talk to! Thanks a ton Don!

We were not here long but the staff was very helpful and tried really hard to find us what we were looking for.

Awesome customer service everytime at the kelowna store. The staff there are really great. Thought they were on commision but was told they're not they just really helpful. I of course always order stuff online that almost always dont fit me and have to return it. They are really good there. I like shopping there, my favorite store. Returning a defective product order online, they were so helpful finding me a new one even though it sold out online and was told if I need to use to product right away to keep that one and bring it back till the new one come in. All the staff are great and knowledgeable. I'm happy with the service, my favorite place to shop for outdoor stuff.

This place is incredible not only in deals and product, but today their customer service stood up as best in town. Staff member Calise followed me as I wandered around asking a billion questions about kayaks, worked on getting me the best deal she coul, and in the end pulled off a circus trick with another staff, pulling a kayak down from the roof for me to sit in and try out.

My wife and I went to buy some hiking shoes, and one of our stops was Atmosphere. I'm not a fan of shopping and even less so of pushy, condescending, or absent customer service. There is middle ground of presence and knowledge that many stores miss. At Atmosphere we were offered assistance, but also given time and space to shop. After we had narrowed our options, store manager Mike stepped in and offered some great advice. He listened to what our plans were, and shared information about the products, the differences, and what to look for. He helped us find the best product at our price point without trying to up-sell us. It made all the difference. We didn't hesitate to make our purchase. We had a similar experience about 7 years ago when the same location was a Sport Mart, (another of the stores in the FGL Sports group), and we outfitted our young kids for skiing. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same management as the customer service philosophy appears to be the same.

Marissa spent over an hour with us as we were searching for a backpack that would fit me correctly. She was patient and very knowledgeable. We never once felt pushed to purchase the most expensive pack, it was about fit and comfort. She ensured there were weights I could test the bags with, also helped searching for other things we went in looking for. Top notch service, we will be back next time we are in Kelowna! Thanks again.

Great customer service. The staff are educated on the products and happy to answer any questions or give advice. Without being pushy or annoying. They stock Top quality brands for your outdoor sporting needs. Staff helped me find the perfect backpack for Thailand

I'm a little shopping averse in general, at least since I have been in the Okanagan, and typically buy my outdoor gear when I am in Vancouver or Victoria. My main gripe is customer service, but not at Atmosphere! This store has a knowledgeable staff that actually listen to your requests and takes the time to fit you, and make sure your gear is fitted before you leave the store. I recognize one of the staff from AG Superstore, and he is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I ended up shopping here by chance because I learned they are partnered with Canadian Tire, and wanted to use my Canadian Tire money up. Well, I ended up spending more than I expected, but for the right reasons because they have quality gear like Arc'teryx, Mountain Hardwear, Helly Hanson.and also have an online store that you can order and return at this location. Finally Kelowna has a personable store again that offers quality gear. My favorite was the greeter working the mop discretely at the entrance who turned out to be the manager, when I went back a week later he was sure to ask me how my boots were working out, and if I wanted to get the Arc'teryx shirt I had tried on after all - it's nice to be remembered and greeted well.

Great outdoor store it's nice to be able to go into a retail store and still be able to buy outdoor equipment lots of high end gear I do wish they would carry some better sleeping bags though.

I love shopping at the Kelowna Atmosphere, the sales staff are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, and have never tried to oversell me anything I don't need!

Perfect concentration of outdoor footwear, clothing and equipment. Attentive service. Always have my shoe size in Solomon. Currently have buy one get one at 50% off on selected Solomon shoes.

If you and the family love the outdoors. Don't waste time looking at other shops. Brand names. Great knowledgeable staff. Brill prices.
