Exemplary after sale customer service.
A few days after purchasing our new Mazda, we discovered a small scratch. When we alerted August Mazda about the scratch, they focused making it right. They repaired the scratch as their focus is customer service. If you are in the market for a new car, we highly recommend August Mazda. They have been amazing.

I traded in my truck for a 2024 Suna Cx 5. I got a fair price for the truck. There was no low balling and i was treated with kindness and respect from day 1. Drexler was the salesman and i give him a 10 out of 10. Very knowledgeable about all the product. I test drove a few cars and was undecided which way to go. Drexler was very patient with me and at no time did i ever feel pressure to make a decision. In fact it was his kindness and positive attitude that i found very refreshing. He always had time for me as it took a few weeks to close the deal only because i changed my mind twice! I went from a Mazda 3 sport with turbo to a Cx 5 non turbo to finally the Suna Cx5. I've Driven my Mazda for a few days now and i Love it. I'd like to extend my appreciation to Kelly the finance manager. My wife and i shared some laughs with her and it was easy dealing with her. Thanks to Avery the nice lady who did our insurance. Finally Jordon the Delivery Specialist showed us all the in's and out's of our new Mazda's infotainment center and other features and for the bottle of wine! I visited a few dealerships in Kelowna but something had drawn me to August Mazda where I met a very pleasant young salesman Thomas. I am truly happy that he was working that evening as he with an ease explained all the details and comparison between the two cars I liked. Thomas' knowledge and professionalism assured me that I will return to Mazda dealership in the morning to finalize my choice. We did another drive and Thomas made it so easy for me to decide on the best vehicle for my needs.
The whole atmosphere of August Mazda felt great and welcoming, the staff I met were also very friendly and professional.
Thank you Thomas for being a top notch caring sales man attending to all details involved in my purchase. I drive my Mazda for just under one week but feel very safe and comfortable.

The staff at August Mazda always provides great service! Compared to the experiences we had on the lower mainland, we trust that if they suggest something needs replaced then it likely should be. Not like other dealerships who have sales targets and want you to replace something every single time.

Located almost new used SUV at August Mazda, treated great by sales staff and support staff, very fair with our trade in, had vehicle ready to go as promised, reviewed all features of the vehicle, looked after the insurance transfer, etc. We were very satisfied and based on our experience it appears that we will likely get our vehicle serviced there as well. Thank-you August Mazda staff and particularly salesman Randy. Just an add-on, must comment on service department, very friendly and accommodating, been a long time since I've had such good service, thumbs up to August Mazda!

I recently bought a CX5 from August Mazda and I was very happy with the service I received. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle at a dealership and I was very pleased with the customer service and overall process. This is definitely a GREAT place to buy a car in Kelowna. I wasn’t expecting to buy a car when I walked on to that lot, but the combination of finding my perfect match and the amazing Kendal made it happen! She was very educational but not pushy or aggressive about the sale. She just wants to get you in the right car for you! I also loved how upfront and “bullshit free” the sales approach was. Totally recommend going in there to see Kendal about getting you in some new wheels. Thanks guys…. Love my new whip!

This is the first time I am owning a car in my life. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. The financing options/add-ons/warranties could be more transparent and explanatory, but the staffs are doing a great job listening to your opinions. There is no hidden fees. I am lucky to have the most beautiful and fun car and the most trustworthy and reliable dealership in the town.

Never had any issues here! I was in with a friend when she was shopping and the entire experience was a delight. Everybody was really friendly and went through everything in detail, but most of all they were NOT pushy which is something I really don't like in a dealership.

Have always been happy with the service centre at August Mazda. That's why I keep going back. Knowledgeable people who don't try and push extra services on you. So I've always had faith in what they recommend and it's turned out right. I've even had instances in which they discourage me from a service that is not required. It has made me have full trust in them.

Service was reasonably priced, and I was pleased they did not try to upsell me on other services that were not really required.

Small touches included the car wash and vacuum. Courtesy car during the few hours they had my vehicle was also appreciated.

I bought a pre-owned CX-5 here in January. That experience was great. However, at the beginning of March my car's battery died. I went in to Mazda to have it replaced. I told them that I had only bought the car 6 weeks ago from them and asked that they cover the cost of the battery, since they told me specifically the battery was good when I bought the car and that clearly was not the case. They said it wasn't their problem, but went on to tell me that they checked the battery in December, and that it might have worn out on their lot since I didn't buy the car until January.
In my opinion, this is still their responsibility. They told me the battery died sitting on their lot before I bought it. However, they told me that this was not their problem, but that they would give me a free oil change 'so they did not lose my business'. Needless to say, you have lost my business. I would not recommend others buy here and do not trust their services.

Couldn't have been happier with my experience! As a new car owner I was nervous about stepping onto a dealership lot but the moment I was greeted and interacted with the team, my anxiety subsided. Kendal was an absolute dream to work with! She listened to all of my needs and did not pressure me one bit. She even took the extra time at the end of her shift to let me test drive a vehicle (my now beautiful CX3). From start to finish, it was a breeze. Extra bonus for being helped by all females! Shout out to the women working in a male dominated feild!

We recently dealt with August Mazda to lease our new SUV. Everyone we dealt with was top class! Our salesperson Jerry was very friendly and knowledgeable, but not pushy at all. Gord helped us out with the lease and was also very nice and made sure we understood all of the details of the agreement. He didn’t try to upsell anything and he genuinely was looking out for us to make sure we got the best deal for our needs. Avery was brought in to help us out with our insurance and she too was great to work with. She made sure we understood the different options and anticipated our needs to make the process really smooth. It was a great experience all around! If you are in the market for a car, it would be a mistake to not make a visit to August Mazda.

I have had my Mazda for 3 years now and I actually look forward to taking it in to the Mazda dealership for its servicing every time because the staff are so kind and personable. They take the time to explain things and let me know in advance when a particular service may be necessary in the future so I have lots of time to prepare for it. I have always experienced honesty and integrity from their service department and for that I am incredibly grateful! I’m so happy I chose Mazda for my first brand new car, and with the amazing customer service, they’ll be stuck with me for life:)

Fantastic service from the moment you walk into the service area. Both the receptionist and our Service Advisor, Nathan, treated us like valued customers. They were courteous, professional and patient. Nathan took the time to answer and explain the whole issue of winter tires for a Mazda3 with me. His explanations will save us money in the fall when we have to buy 4 new winter tires. All in all, a totally satisfying experience.

Been a customer for five+ years now, outstanding service all the way. Most recently we took our car in for a service job and noticed a few months later that there was an oil leak. I took it in and they stepped up immediately and told me it was due to a mistake during the last service job and they repaired it at zero cost to me. That kind of transparency and genuine honesty is why we will be long time August Mazda customers! Also, Paul, the shuttle driver is always a pleasure to chat with-feels like a family friend at this point!

Doug at Kelowna Mazda was excellent! We were so pleased with the entire purchasing process. With little experience driving a standard transmission, Doug was quick to calm the nerves and provide some rather helpful tips. Worst service department in Kelowna. Clueless with respect to their products particularly the finicky RX8, although they claim to know all about them. They have NEVER managed to address any problem the first go around with this vehicle. My latest experience being their inability to perform an accurate compression test. Same car, two tests, two different results. Oh yes then they forget to plug a bunch of stuff in after the test. I go to fetch it and it runs like poop so left it there and that is when discovered things were left unplugged. Now after they redid the second test they say " oh likely that the numbers on the compression test could still come up some more" Does that mean second compression test was also not done correctly? Who knows. What I do know is I am cured of buying a Mazda as dealing with this service department is an absolute joke. Shame on you Kelowna Mazda.

Very nice staff. And a amazing refreshment center. For all customers to enjoy on a hot day. That put them over the top for me. I know its small, but they had a variey of free juices. Not just water. Im a sugar nut, so that made my day. And it was a HOT one. Thanks Mazda.

Overall experience 4.33 Stars (rounded down) - Overall I would recommend this place.

Buying Experience 5/5 - Jerry and Kelli were incredibly helpful with answering questions and that made me do a 400km roadtrip to buy a car from this dealership.

Service Experience 3/5 - This is tied to the services performed when buying a used car.
The headlights were not working which we discovered while driving down Coquihalla. It was later found that the headlights were missing a fuse.
Check Engine Light came on 10 minutes after driving the car off the lot. We brought it back and was told they knew about it, changed a part, it came on again and then deleted itself. Not sure if they checked more thoroughly after that.

After Sales Experience 5/5 - I informed Jerry of the problem, the GM got involved and they supported me to get everything back up to snuff.

I am not usually a big review writer but I wanted to share an experience that was exceptional.
As a senior and an owner of a 17 year old Pickup I required a small clip for a wind deflector. My thought was this was going to be a long shot at best.
Isaac and Conrad in the parts department made it their mission to find this part, for a one dollar part on a 17 year old truck that required going through a myriad of bins to find this one unique clip.

Isaac made it his mission. Speaks volumes to the kind of staff this dealership hires.

I went in to replace have them the left rear signal light, which I had already purchased. I had to wait for at least an hour, and they charged $28. Compare that with North Hill Mazda in Calgary, who not only changed my brake light, but checked my brakes and didn't charge me.
