Aura Nightclub

Always a good time when I come with my friends. Dj plays mostly EDM songs so if you’re into that I recommend going to this club! The setting is really nice inside as well! Idk why the ratings are so low tbh, people seem to be having a good time from what I see in there.

Was here last night for the “Not our X-mas Party”. I was buying 2 Jaeger Bomb drinks, which costs $28 at the bar closer to the entrance. I gave the server $40, and she hands me $2 change. I ask for the rest, and she tries to convince me I gave her $30…I tell her to check the cameras, and she gets angry and starts giving me attitude, then hands me back my $10. Then she tells me I’m banned from that bar.really? What kind of scammers are you hiring to steal from people who go clubbing here? Unbelievable.

10 July 2022 the music was horrible, dj did not want listen to public in the club. I advice to club management do not hire that peace s of **** any more. Thanks

Pretty good. Even though I had to pull up a DM to prove I was on the guest list. Good music, good looking people. Only problem is that the drinks were super weak

Personal preference I'm not crazy about any alcohol establishments.

Being genuine give both men and women a bad sense of character for ones life future wise.

Don't be hesitant should you wish to go to any.

It's just not appropriate for a more functional lifestyle

My friend and I were walking out of the club when some unknown random man came up to my friend and choked her. Her coworker saw and slapped the guy who was holding onto her heck. She had no idea who he was and had no interaction with him prior. Security guard “001” kicked us out and said it didn’t matter if the guy choked her, the coworker was not allowed to slap him. It doesn’t matter that a female got assaulted for no reason. Clearly they favor certain people. It’s dangerous for everyone else.

The place is quite small but well decorated.definitely pricey and easy to spend money here! Not worth the wait if you're not on the guest list

Its so tiny of a place. Its like they tried to squish a club into the space of a closet and managed to add 2 bars on either side of it. Music was trash as the DJ isn't even highschool prom worthy, playing just radio music that was nearly impossible to vibe and dance to at a club. If I known that I'd have to pay $40 to just get in to a place like this, I'd never have left the house.

Tl;dr: a creepy, crowded, dude-focused club.not worth it (esp for ladies).

notice how the people people that don't rate this place low are dudes - there's a reason for that.packed club; misogynistic dj ("cheer if you're here for pu$$y tonight" and other such comments through the night) ; 20 to skip line and 20 to get in; completely packed.ladies, don't go here, for real.the music is mainly dude-hip hop.they played maybe 2 songs by female artists.it was a crowd filled with testosterone.people pushing and shoving a lot, and also got groped by a dude passing by.

Request to the night club owner pls pay your bouncers bcs they are asking for money from people on the gate.

4 of us got covid there on Saturday night (March 12th). We are all triple vaxxed. All started showing symptoms this morning all tested positive.

People are rude and employees steal $$ at coat check. Not a chill place hang out, and seems very low class. People I had with me couldn't have a good time because of lack of security and aggressive people. Going somewhere else next time

Had to wait for ever in line, or you could pay $20/person to the security/bouncer to skip line than wait in a second line inside than pay a "tip" $30/person, wait in another line for Id checks and get a stamp at the Front counter register, with half a dozen security being super rude, with music exploding hurting your ears, when we left our ears were ringing, they only play drake, from the 3 ish hours while we were there, the environment was dirty and had to wait 10 mins for the bar tender to even acknowledge us, than told us to wait rudely, finally got a drink after 15 mins, the crowd in there made us felt uncomfortable and some of us actually felt unsafe, with people staring us down, and etc.

Don't recommend this place if your looking for a place to dance and chitchat with friends with a few drinks, I could barely hear my friend that's right next to my face.

Showed up ready to have a blast bouncer told me they had no coat check and couldnt bring my bag and longboard in so i left and put them somewhere hidden went back and the bouncer just flat out refused me enter for no reason 0/10

First time in Vancouver me and my friends went to this club called Aura waited for more than 2 hours to get in and only 2 guys in front of us. The bouncers said it’s full inside but only taking people who are paying them. They asked us to pay them money to get in everything under the table.

Went for my sisters Birthday last night, COVID restrictions were in place about seating but I guess that's standard across Granville for the time being. All in all fun night, good crowd and the staff took care of us.

0/10 recommend - would give 0 stars if I could. Front staff didn’t give me change for cover; I later found out my friend also paid for our groups cover even though it had already been paid for. Bouncers are overly aggressive, got kicked out for no apparent reason. When asking the bouncer why I was kicked out they provided no reason.

Went to Aura a couple of weeks back.and oh my God was it awesome. Music was great although a little packed, it was clean, servers were perfect. Bottle service was on point and fun. If your visiting or just wanting a place of fun, drinks and awesome atmosphere go here. I'd also like to give a huge shout out to Megan Hopkins. She was one of the bartenders there; super friendly awesome personality and could make the drinks fast and perfect. She makes your feel like a celeb when you go up to the bar.

I am Asian myself. Please don't go. Friday is Asian night. Bad music bad crowd. Too crowded for dancing. And everyone is wearing coat. Too warm for dancing. Coat check is more expensive. I never post a negative review for any place. But this club is not for someone who wants fun night out. Customer service, LOL. Every worker has a cold face. Their review score is very low.and its true!

I had the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at this nightclub last night. I was out for my best friends birthday, I rarely go out in Vancouver so already I was a bit out of my element. After we had gotten in our friend decided on getting a table in a closed off area. I and 3 other friends were already buying a drink at the main bar at the time and just told him we would go in after we had received our drinks. We then walked up to the private area (where our entire party was) and the bouncer refused to let us in. I informed him that our party was already in there and waved at my friend who saw us and came to the bouncer even vouched that we were with the party. None of us were drunk (aka not being disorderly or messy) and we had all just only arrived there a few minutes prior, and already we were being treated terribly. The club was no where close to full as it was only around 11: 30pm and the bouncer still refused to let us in, and when I asked politely why we couldn’t get let in he replied “because I’m the boss” and crossed his arms, he then let two other men that were behind us through, then looked back at us, I then said “ok that’s fine but I just want to know for what reason, so I can know how to be with the rest of my friends” and he then yelled “because I said so, do you want to get kicked out of the club or do you want to stay in the club. You’re not getting in” he then proceeded to put the heavy barricade stand on my foot, injuring one of my toes - everyone I was with saw this all happen and can claim witness to this. Another bouncer realized what was happening came over whispered something to the rude bouncer and pointed in the other direction and the bouncer left. The replacement bouncer who was much more kind then said “I’ll get you guys stamps” and then let us in immediately. After I got in, I ended up breaking down and crying because of the pain in my toe and from the trauma of the sheer rudeness of the previous bouncer which was extremely embarrassing. Everyone in the party saw this and was outraged with what had happened and was completely turned off by the club as a whole. I ended up going home because it completely ruined my night.

First of all a promoter at the place tried to scam us— charged us for tickets that’s supposedly less than the price at the door but didn’t give everyone in the party that was paid for us physical tickets, which the girl at the door was extremely rude about, refused reasoning and threatened to call security about when we tried to explain we were let in from the previous payment. Later in the night, after paying an undisclosed extra 5 at the door for entering after 12 from the long line, one of the people from my party got kicked out for trying to see if her e cigarette worked, and wouldn’t be let back in even with perfect reason and cooperation in the first place. They just want to SCAM YOUR MONEY, terrible DJ too that ruined all the song with too much remix, definitely do not recommend and beware! Never going back again such disgusting customer service

Dark haired, Australian and tall with the stilettos staff named Brettanya? (I'm probally butchering her name as it was quite loud) was very friendly and caring. Keep her as long as possible because she made my night at Aura even greater.

I was told that even if I were to pay money for them to look after my stuff, they are not held reliable if they somehow lose them. WHAT? ! How does that make sense?

Absolute garbage. Maybe 4 months ago I sent an email 10 days ahead of my friends bday to try to get a VIP table. I emailed the club directly as well as one of their promoters. I was polite, clear and asked for what was available.
No response.
Maybe my email got lost in the shuffle, a few days later, i emailed again no response
Fast forward to last month, i emailed to try to reserve a table.no response.

I went to the club anyways (non vip) and by 1am half of the VIP section was empty.they dont want business.just a joke of an operation.

I am so disappointed with the customer service at aura. All I wanted was to have my birthday celebration here so I contacted them 2 weeks before my birthday trying to book a table and bottle service, first I direct messaged their instagram trying to find out who their promoters are thinking I could maybe get a better deal and II got no reply, which was no problem maybe I just needed to contact them through the email they provided on the website not Instagram so I went ahead and emailed their inquiries email & NO REPLY I then waited a few days and still received no reply so I called and I guess when I called they were closed and so the voice message said to email this other email so I emailed that and once again NO REPLY and so I went back onto Instagram and found auras promoters and direct messaged their Instagram once again NO REPLY and then I emailed the promoters and no email back and so I thought okay I’ll foraward my old email one more time becuase maybe they were busy and the email got lost in other vip bookings and after forwarding the email again NO REPLY! Just keep in mind I waited a week for them to get back to me and then I decided to go ahead and book my birthday at a club nearby which emailed my back in less than an HOUR! Aura is a fun club to go to but do not waste ur time trying to book a table there! Very very very dissapojted with the customer service like I completely surprised

Coat check is usually 5$, but they wanted to charge me 20$ cuz it was fully packed. (10$ for my bag, 10$ for my coat and they said they will put my stuffs on the floor lol)

I only put my bag and paid them 10$. My MacBook was there.
Now I see the screen on my MacBook is cracked. I see a dark horizontal line on my screen. Also I lost my visor of my bike helmet which was attached on my bag as well. But for the visor, I don't wanna blame them cuz I may lost it on another location.anyway I am thinking of suing them

DJ’s here are primadonna’s. My girlfriend came here on her bday over the weekend with some friends. A couple of them put their drinks on the DJ booth while making a song request and the DJ literally picked up and dropped (smashed) their drinks onto the floor.

Manager was sympathetic, but put up a sign or put something in that space so drunk people don’t put there drinks there. Pretty simple. Big selection of clubs out there so we’ll never be back to this place.

Lord, no. When the bouncer says there are 300 people inside, he means 30. Don’t worry tho, Coronas are only 8.50 each.
