Automotive Training Centre

This school is an absolute disapointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Find another school!

I have good experience with every single staff at the Automotive Training Center. I have the opportunity to learn from the best instructor Jayson and institute sharing useful experience both in class and workshop practice. Other staff are also special and highly receptive and helping the students at anytime.

This place is top notch when it comes to automotive training, there expertise are unmatched, and the people skills they have are amazing, especially Ricardo he was stellar.

Total WCB scam, send you here and you learn nothing, its just an on line computer course to learn how to be a Truck Dispatcher, The Government really needs to investigate what must be a kick back program, 10K flushed down the toilet.

Great facility lots of parking. The people here are very kind, and very caring. I want to thank Michelle, Don and especially Rowena! Rowena was super kind and helpful to me during a tuff moment in my day and kind enough to listen when I needed to talk.

Huge SCAM. 20,000$ just so i can get no certificate. And no knowledge. They tell you if your not working within 6 month of after school you will get money back, its all about the money. Not Learning.

Top notch professional training program. This is not your High School automotive class! Highly experienced, knowledgeable Instructors prepare you to industry standards. I took the Autobody Technician program and was surprised how quickly I was on the shop floor safely learning to operate a wide assortment of professional equipment used for metal fabrication, welding, panel preparation and autobody painting. The Autobody Technician Program required self patience and hard work but the knowledge I gained was invaluable. Automotive Training Centre overdelivered on my expectations!

This school is a good place to get a lot of knowledge. The combinnation workshop time and materials in class giving you the opportunity to really understand how the industry works.
I was in morning class and Virgil (teacher) gave me the tools to be a good car technician. He cares about his students and give a lot of knowledge and support.

DO NOT take the automotive prep and paint course. They never had material for us to use in the night class, and when my teacher tried to order stuff for us he got In trouble with the owner of the school. They also charged 17 THOUSAND dollars for a course that is only 6 grand at BCIT. Wish I'd known that before I enrolled. I was also told (as were the rest of my classmates) in the intake meeting that I would leave with my level 1, which we found out 2 months in wasn't actually true, at which time it was too late to get any of our tuition back. This is also not an accredited school, nor is the course recognized by ICBC. Almost every shop I've gone to have asked where I went to school and when I tell them I went to ATC they tell me they're not looking for anyone new. This school is a SCAM! DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!

For $15,000 it feels like I spent $11,000 more than what I should have.

There is also one thing I noticed that was false. They do not have a customer base at all. From when I have started (June 29th 2015) to now, I have only seen 5 customers, tops. Other than that, it's been computer work and project cars, "real life situations", so to say

The instructors themselves, for the night course (6pm to 10pm) are absolutely, outstanding. Everything is well presented. There are two types of learning, with them which is extremely awesome. One will tell you to just do it, so you go hard, trying to figure it out, and a lot of times you just over think it and BAM! Mind blown, they show you if you stuck. The other is showing you how you do it, while your doing it then you get an explanation as to why it's important, why it's needed and all the other stuff that you'd need to know.

All the negative reviews are valid. Their programs cost 10X more than say BCIT. They will never stop emailing you even for programs you did not inquire about. One of my regrets in life is sending them an email. They are desperate and aggressive in their approach. I absolutely despised talking to them. My suggestion is- do not ever waste your time on this place.
