Jim is absolutely professional, he showed us different tires options and explain to us the difference, no hard sell and definitely good price compare to other shops. Jim is a cheerful person, I am very happy to have found his shop and the installation was fast perfect. I will recommend to my friends.

Jim is amazing! We popped in to get a new tire after losing our old one to a nail in side, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. 10/10 would go to him with a tire emergency again.

Horrible service. This guy installed a tire that he sold me and HE FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS. My tire fell riding 50 meters down the street. I went back and tried to not cause any issue but now I found out the tire he sold me was faulty. I came back to ask for an explanation and he threatened me and told me I couldn't do anything about it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Had a great experience here. I went in for emergency and i was attended very well. Unlike other tire or autoshops where they don’t care to wxplain to you what the problem is. So thank you Autopia for your great Service

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SERVICE. THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND RIP YOU OFF.
I went to get my flat tire repaired. They asked for cash and asked me to come back in an hr. It looked fine when I picked up my car. I drove back home and found the tire still flat, with the nail still inside. The tires weren’t even balanced. I thought everyone should know

Its not common that you find a guy like Jim that is honest and takes his time to educate you on tires. Jim listed all the options and allowed me to decide which one was best for me.

I am the actual customer, went to the shop and spend time to ask info.
I can understand why the boss is not willing to response to some people, because there are always people wasting time, and calling around 10 times to save few dollars. I am in customer service business, I can understand how this make people fraustrate.

I have been customer for few years. Every time I have issue, I will call in advance and make appointment to bring my car. I have never been have any issue, I also told my mom to go to this store as well, she feels the shop is very nice too

I mean before people leave negative review, you have to be reasonable. You can not just get upset because people don’t let you waste their time. People are here doing business to make money, not for pleasing you and free service.

This weekend we unfortunately got a flat tire. We spent yesterday in search of a replacement to get us through the summer as we intend to replace all 4 tires next summer. We called Autopia (as we saw an ad about used tires on craigslist) but nobody answered and we did not leave a message. This morning we got a phone call from the shop and the man was incredibly rude. He accused us of wasting his time looking for used tires EVEN though they advertise used tires. Again we did not leave a message so who is truly wasting whose time here? I definitely will not be giving this shop my business when I decide to replace my summers and buy winters this upcoming season. I know in response I will be called uneducated and various other names as that seems to be the standard for this shop whenever people leave a negative review, so save yourself the time and don't bother responding to my review as I've wasted enough of my time with your unprofessional business.

Jim is very patient and knowledgeable. He taught me a lot of things about tires when I went in to change my old tires. He was also very considerate when I started my engine and heard a screeching sound, it turned out to be the belt being too dried. He sprayed it with lubricant and the sound went away then he advised me to see a mechanic. Not only that, he also fixed the bent tire rims with no additional cost. Throughout the whole experience I felt being valued and cared as a customer. My family has been going to him for ten years and we highly recommend Autopia.

Best service ever and he painted my calipers red for free. I always recommend my friends to this place.

I bought a set of new winter tires from Jim. I found his place through craigslist, did a quick research online and found out from the reviews that people are calling in to get prices, etc. I knew from reading that he is a one man show and do not have time to entertain every call and has to pick and choose who he services. So instead of calling, I drove 20 mins to his shop and inquired about what I needed. He was helpful in person. Told me the different options, pros and cons. I made the decision then, put a small deposit, he ordered the tires, and a week later, new set of winters installed. He even took 2 sets (8 tires) of my old all season and winter tires from me. He did not just take it, but gave me a good amount of credit on the new tires. People have to understand that this is a one man show, very little overhead, thus low pricing. I came here for new set of winters, prompt scheduling and a low price. I got it all. Adjust your expectations and you will be giving a 5 stars review as well.

In desperate times, this was the only place available and willing to help day of.
We came in and he stayed well past closing to finish our repair.
Jorge was amazing and fixed things that were even the original issue, while still paying our expected rate.

I have been taking my car to this shop for a few years now and Jim does an amazing job. He is friendly and he always make sure you leave his shop satisfied.
Recently, I took my car to his shop for repair and tire change and he made sure that I got my car back on time.

Typical small business owner. He listed some rims and tires on Craigslist. I called to get more information about the rims (size, etc) and the owner was rude and not accommodating at all. Does he not get that someone calling could be a potential long term customer? Bad customer service. Will definitely not visit here.

Jim was absolutely wonderful! We last minute called him because we had to leave to the Oakanagan the next day. He was so accommodating, even staying late to help us get it all done. Prices are THE BEST IN THE CITY! We shopped around a bit before finding him and I am SO thankful we stubbles upon his business. Friendly, kind, honest, and all around awesome! Thank you SO much Jim. I bought a set of used winter tires from this shop, and was very impressed. The owner went above and beyond to clean my rims and rebalance the wheels for no extra cost. My mom and a close family friend have also bought tires from here.

Notes: you will need to pay in cash, so it's better to call ahead and ask if they have your tire size/ballpark cost. However, there is no answering machine, so if he doesn't pick up at first, you might need to wait for a callback. Also, he does not write official receipts - just his handwriting on the back of a business card. That said, I was still impressed with the overall service.
