I'm so thankful for Google ratings! As a visitor to the city, with tons of sushi places, it was fantastic to head straight for the highest rated one in the area. Delicious! And so fresh. Nice surprise of salmon collar as complimentary dish to eat while waiting for our order. Service was very friendly and fast. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here around 2pm on a Thursday. Very few people, service was great, food was EXCELLENT (especially for the cost).

Haven't checked out other places for sushi around here, but this certainly hits all of the notes for a bomb lunch joint!

I’ve been here several times now and it’s always been a great restaurant, but their regular chirashi don is honestly one of the most beautifully presented I’ve ever seen. Also a very large serving and very delicious, the sashimi was top notch. Compliments to the chef!

I had an amazing time celebrating my wife's birthday here! Volcano roll is a must! The presentation is incredible! We also enjoyed Pacific roll and tempura! Best Japanese food around town.

Today was our first time in this restaurant, everything that we ordered was tasty and outstanding. We loved the seafood udon and chicken udon. Our kids loved it. We Recommended this Japanese food place.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had! This is absolutely a must try. Everything we had was prepared with a lot of care and detail to execution. I could not recommend this place any more highly.

So happy that I tried this restaurant out. I and my bf were actually heading to other sushi restaurant but then we wanted to give it a try to this restaurant since it is pretty new. All the foods are so tasty and savory and I love the way they plate and serve the foods. It will be my go to sushi restaurant.

Utterly delicious and so affordable! This bento box, made up of teriyaki chicken (could have also had beef), california roll, agedashi tofu (gyozas or tempura were also an option), salad, rice and miso soup, was $16.95 - I can’t quite get my head around that! Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful, plus the staff were so welcoming and made sure we were always topped up on complimentary green tea throughout our visit. I am already planning when I can come back here to try out more of the menu, which is extensive!

We wandered into this restaurant looking for a sushi place and it was amazing! The presentation, service and food were all 10/10. I would highly recommend stopping by Avo House for dinner and eating in.

This is seriously the best sushi dt. Found them from a review on tick tock and I’m so glad I tried them. Wish I could load some pics so you could see the beautiful presentation, esp for takeout! This will be your new favourite sushi place for certain.

I thought I’ve been scammed my whole entire life after dining in here. The food is just AMAZING, not one of them disappoint. Other sushi restaurants have to pick up their game for real. Service was good, interior was clean, definitely coming back here.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in the city. Every time we come here the food is fresh, made with exceptional presentation and attention to detail. Quality is always amazing whether having sushi, or one of their hot plates. This restaurant will be around for a while.

Ordered takeout from here on a recent weekend family trip. Fantastic light and crispy tempura filled with tender vegetables, delicious and flavorful nigiri, great tofu teriyaki, and the kids ate all our gyoza! Great after a long day of sightseeing!
