Burgers are good.but coffee is horrible (like water) compared to other A&Ws. The store said they cannot do anything

Our pops were flat, our order was wrong and they gave us a fork that had clearly been used prior. GROSS! The fork literally had cheese on it …

The two young men working at the front here are very courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service.

The food is always good. Service is a bit slow and the seating area is very small. It would be even better if they brought back the whistle dog. The Rootbeer is the best you will ever find

I ordered a beyond meat burger. I was very disappointed because I got a tiny sliver of wilted lettuce in it & a couple slices of white onion. I expect to get my money's worth. Not some shriveled old lettuce & I would have preferred red onion!

All was fine, except that when I ordered their morning special breakfast, which comes with bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, hash browns and coffee, that they had no sausage. This was a minor complaint, however not what I ordered! On the plus side, it was clean and courteous and service was good.

I watched the employee go from the till to making for to putting away boxes, he did not wash his hands or use sanitizer once. This was my first and last time

Love A&W but this location is the dirtiest place i’ve seen, the people in the back look like they have bad hygiene, not in uniform, no hair nets and always on their phones…these are just a few thing.

This location was charging people 25 cents per bag and saying that they were allowed to do this and it was a bylaw, which is not the case and has never been the case. After enough people complain and the bylaw office made it out they stopped, but I certainly don’t feel comfortable coming here after that theft. (Not to mention how unsanitary this restaurant often is I can go elsewhere thanks)

I forgot how bad the service is in that location, i had 15 min to spare before my bus showed up, i waited 12 min for a burguer, that was never made, 3 girls working, no customers and i had to leave with no food, such a shame no wonder is always empty.

This A&W location outright lied to many customers claiming the $0.25 bag fee they charge is a bylaw. The mayor of Port Coquitlam found out, called this location personally, and told them to remove the bag fee because it is not a bylaw.
Very shady business practice. But the food is still tasty, at least.

Good food and service. The place was shockingly dirty though. I’m not a clean freak, but the entire floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Caked with week old dried lettuce, food debris and the restaurant floor hasn’t been mopped in so long the entire floor looks like it does when the roads have been salted and everyone’s dirty feet drag in de-icer but it’s been sunny all week and no snow for months. The table tops were smudged multiple colours of muck, even the seats were dirty. Both bathrooms have two soap dispensers and all 4 dispensers were empty (sign of how little they are tended to). The bathroom smelt so strongly of stale urine I opted to hold it. Clearly they are lacking a proper cleaning schedule and cheating out on staffing. I changed my order to takeout and ate in my car. Food tasted fresh and service was friendly, clearly newly renovated but yikes, the dirtiest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been in. Need to deep clean it desperately and then need to stay on top of regular cleaning throughout the day!

Onion rings are really fried badly, which is much worse than other shops, and the bread is hard, so it is not recommended.

They have been gouging EVERY customer $0.25 for a bag fee which they have said is a city bylaw, and has been confirmed by the Mayor does not exist. They should be shut down for ripping off their customers.

Newly renovated and super busy. Friendly neighbourhood burger place. VEGETARIAN friendly beyond meat burger. Cute decor.

Fulfilled advertising claims of food selection & quality 100%. Staff friendly, efficient & courteous. Premises clean. Minimalist. Abundance of Touchless hand sanitizers. Handicapped button for touchless door opening.

Went for quick breakfast sandwich, hasbrown and coffee. Food was great, but no cream for coffee and they had no ketchup.

Probably just a rough night but waited 10 minutes for a buddy burger. Was only one there too. The burger was pretty decent and the girl working was really nice.

Spent 10 minutes to wait for an english muffin and chicken strips when the restaurant was not busy at all. Bad customer service, no apology but arguement.

Best customer service ever, the staff is very friendly and polite. The food is always fresh and hot. Wonderful experience.

Several long blonde hairs found in my food. Calls into question the sanitary practices of this establishment. Not cool

The indian cashier took my order wrong even though i told her, then she did not give me the receipt and did not cancel the order instead asked me for some charges although she is the one that did it wrong. When i saw the food, she put my order in the small packaging (it's not fit with my order) and crushes by her hands. She needs more training with the customer.

Have been coming here for years, customer service has gone done hill.

I have been giving passes since some staff are new and some are still in training. This does not excuse not updating the hours, not being ready when the doors open. I let the staff know, I hope this will be a valuable learning lesson.

Pico's first a&w. Survived fire and still a landmark (not a scorch mark) I visit all the time. Kids #1.

Cold breakfast worker argued that it was just cooked. Butter on toast was caked on and not melted on cold un toasted bread.
Eggs where supposed to be scrambled. But wher cooked in saugage grease. Awful

Just watched the guy making my breakfast absolutely disgusting! Put his hands into everything after wiping his nose, even the scrambled eggs. I got my money back and left. If I could leave no stars I would, I will never go back

Worst location I’ve ever been to.is it a a&w standard to only give one strip of bacon with a burger oppose to 2 strips? I also found a ant in my root beer while dining in, I don’t recommend coming here

Best place to get breakfast if you have nothing important to do in the morning or if you want to be late for work. Over 20mins to get two bacon and Eggers and a hash brown. I was the only person in the restaurant.

Just like any other A&W with decent service, although it is small inside and can often get crowded.

I went into this restaurant to pick up some food for myself and child. I waited in line, NBD then I placed my order and paid for it. I watched the server or cashier walk into the kitchen without WASHING hands.put the dirty money germ hands into the lettuce and started to make burgers. Food safety 101!

They actually care about the quality and the food is genuinely better than other fast food locations, even other A&WS. Too bad they burnt down yesterday! Ironically spicy hot like their Chipotle. Luckily no one was hurt. Hope to see them make a return.
