We had a simple, inexpensive, delicious meal at A&W. Supreet, Brahamjot, Yogita, and Sukhmeet provided excellent, cheerful service, bringing the food to our table, which we did not expect, because we ordered at the counter. Exceeded expectations.

Had a delicious late night meal at A&W on Brute. Brahamjot is a lovely and friendly server. Supreet, Yogita, and Sukhmeet work hard to keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly. 10/10 experience here

I know there are a few locations of A&W in northern California so I was surprised to see one in Vancouver, ok ok no judging but I wasn’t in town long and wanted to try the famous Canadian POUTINE, Yelp, Google and Trip Advisor kept saying A&W had decent poutine and plus every other restaurant we tried were quite bougie, steak and seafood houses soo yeah, poutine at these places were a no. Nonetheless, it was the last night in Vancouver and after a nice buzz from our happy hour at Granville Island, it was time for dinner. Honestly, we were probably drunk at this point but I have to say the customer service was great, told them it was my first time they probably didn’t care but the food came out hot and delish, shared a burger and poutine w the partner! The burger tasted like any other in the U. S more on the Burger King side and the poutine was bit salty but overall, we were very happy we gave them a try. Outdoor patio, dog friendly!

I visited A&W Bute I got best service by employee working over their Kenil and Ruchi, and the food was hot and was cheery on a cake! Thank you A&W Bute

Very good experience offered by Yogita, Simran and Kapil. They are great in customer service. I will go back and i am inviting everyone to go. Very clean place.

Kenil and Ruchi went out of their way to make the new spicy dill mama burger gluten free for me but putting it in a lettuce wrap. It was the first time they’ve had this order, and it was incredible! Definitely would recommend. I really appreciate their excellent service!

Lately I’ve been coming here after work to relax over lunch and coffee, and it’s been great every time. A special shout-out to Ruchi and Rajpreet, delivered great service every time I’ve come here.

The service here is always quick, food is fresh. The employees are extremely nice, I was served by Viyapack Shiv today and would recommend. Her smile is beautiful as well:)

The staff (Sagar & Subreet) are always so friendly at this location, and their breakfast is alway so quick! I highly recommend.

The service is always one of the best ones I have experienced. The staff are exceptional and very thoughtful and I have never been disappointed anytime I go. A big shoutout to Kapil and Amen and many others who remember me every time I go and are quick with my orders!

Great food and very accessible. Staff is very friendly here and they do a great job of maintaining cleanliness. If there’s one place that exemplifies quality fast food this location is it. Don’t make the mistake of eating Scottish clown food. Come here to satisfy your cravings.

Previous delivery where my 2 chocolate milks were forgotten, I was assured that the next time I wanted to order, to call and they would include the 2 chocolate milks + a burger and fries, free of charge. After ensuring I could get these items added into my delivery order for free of charge, I placed another order. They got everything in my delivery order, as well as my 2 chocolate milks and burger. But the restaurant forgot my fries. Too much hassle for forgotten items.

The best root beer I have. It was ice cold and the mug was frozen.
The burger was A&W standard which is always good.

The girl working this afternoon (Nov 3rd) needs an attitude check, all I did was ask for a buddy burger and yam fries with an online coupon that makes it the cost of the regular fries (difference of $1.20).

The guy didn't know what to do after the scan of the coupon didn't do anything, so he asked the girl what to do and all she did was do an "open coupon" of $1. Ok, I get it, it's only $0.20 extra you're charging me, but like that's still not right, right? I then pointed out that technically it's not right, explain there's still a difference leaving me overcharged, the girl deducts $0.10 and rudely asks if "I'm happy now? ".

To which all I said was, "Ok, I'm just gonna leave then. ‍️" Honestly, didn't have to be so rude over a PO system you don't know how to use. Not a tip you guys deserve.

Best A&W in Vancouver! Go here often for lunch because I work close and I always have a great experience. Great employees who are really polite and always helpful. Food is always ready very quick and taste great.

Great place to eat. The staff there are very efficient and polite and the quality is excellent. I usually come here for a quick bite to eat, knowing I won’t have to wait long. I would definitely recommend.

Every restaurant should have employees like Viyapak and Ruchi. I have been visiting this place regularly for the last few months, they never disappoint me with food or service.

The tables were sticky and dirty. Clearly, those weren't sanitized in recent time. I found both the two women working at the counter on the evening of 4 July 2021 are incompetent. Didn't put the food in a tray, didn't give ketchup, didn't serve the root bear in glasses. Even though the burgers were tasty, however, these things made it an disappointing experience.

Their breakfast is really good! The hash browns are different and unique, and the coffee and sandwiches are of good quality. Wish they had a beyond sausage breakfast sandwich, though!

I've been using the app lately and I have three improvements that would make using it a lot better: 1.counter staff don't always seem to notice the order come in so coffee is not ready when you get there so maybe they need some sort of sound alert. Or they just need to be trained to on how to see the mobile orders come in. 2. Other times they think they should wait til you get there before preparing the coffee (maybe to keep it hot) but the whole point of ordering on the app ahead of time is to give them time to make it so that you don't have to wait around in the restaurant (safer for everyone with Covid but also makes it more convenient and makes it as fast an option as going to McDonald's for example). Also, the coffee stays hot for a long time anyway, and if someone wanted it super fresh, they wouldn't order it ahead. The app says "proceed with order' and it's all pre-paid, so there's no need to wait. The staff need to be trained to just go ahead. It's very inefficient otherwise and defeats the purpose of pre-ordering to be safer with Covid. 3. Staff need to look carefully at the order. I ordered cream and milk and the person put in sugar instead of milk. So much sugar. Unfortunately, I walked quite far away before trying it and couldn't get it replaced. Sadly, I was looking forward to this coffee for an hour because I couldn't have any hot drinks after dental work and this was my first coffee of the day. But the more serious problem with this type of mistake is that if it happens with a diabetic, it can be a much more dangerous mistake. I tried to give this feedback on the phone as a courtesy to them so they can look out for this (because of the danger with people with various health issues. I missed out on a coffee, but other people could have serious problems). But I don't think they understood me on the phone, so I am writing this review to help them figure this out. It was not busy by the way. I was the only customer and mine was the only order. It just requires more care and training. Please fix these things. Staff person was very friendly though and problem with delaying orders seems to be across locations so I'm rating higher because of this, but I still had an undrinkable coffee that wasn't ready for pick up for no good reason and that is not good.

This is a great place to pickup dinner if you're in a hurry. All of the packaging is compostable and they use good quality ingredients. Its at the top of fast food in terms of quality.

Teen burger is the best fast-food burger out there hands down. Consistently delicious at all A&W's as well.

Changed my opinion of Van Houtte coffee to be honest. Clean, small but nicely quiet joint with quick and decent customer service

My dad used to take us to the A&W drive-in where they served the food on a tray they attached to your car door. The drive-in is long gone but the food still tastes great 40 years later.

Amazing affordable burgers! Restaurant quality burgers without the expensive price tag! The patties are grilled to perfection - juice & tasty! Love it!

I order too much food with the machine, and the staff said is not able to make refund if I order with machine.

Friendly service, but the burgers (which used to be delicious!) are now worse-than-bad; equals to Iceland rest stop burgers. And the menu is needlessly confusing.

Came at 7am for burger but the staff said only breakfast. 24hour open and main menu said all day meal. Went to other locations a&w which is 24hour open and they made me burger. Staff clearly is lazy and only want to make breakfast.

I Just got a Spicy Habanero Burger with Fries, my Burger was Extra Lettuce, Aioli, Onions and chicken was supposed to be well done. The costumer service was great, in-fact it was awesome. But maybe the switched my order cuz my burger looks like their is just a piece of lettuce and a patty which is underdone and thts it. It was my only food for the day and here it is now. I tried in calling few times to the store but no one answered my phone. Well thanks guys.oops i forgot it had piece of tomato as well.

Very friendly staff.this location is always clean.they let me try the habanero aioli before buying the habanero chicken burger in case it was too spicy.

Good! Well located, clean and good service. The "Beyond Meat" burger is quite good for a vegan patty. Recommended.

Same consistent burgers. Guy stood at my table staring at me asking for me to buy his drawings after I let him know I would not want to buy his pics. Very awkward and unpleasant. Will not go back.

This location will not mess up your Mozza burger, so if you're craving the A&W feel safe stepping into this spot.

For an A&W.this one consistently meets & exceeds my expectations. It also just happens to the one in my ‘hood.

Good price and service, the food it's really tasty and has a great variety of options. Try the chicken chipotle wrap, it's my personal favourite.

I don't normally write reviews but this place always goes above and beyond. This is the best A&W/ fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. The owner cares a lot and it definitely shows. The staff are always so kind and attentive to my needs (I ask for reduced packaging on my meals and they are always able to accommodate). Thanks for making it easier to reduce my waste:)

Great alternative to Mac Donalds. A tad heathier too. A good place for those transitioning from fatty to healthy food!

I don't eat fast food often, but I was craving a burger after a night shift and figured I'd give A&W a try. Unfortunately the menu seems to be set up for people that already know what they want and know what the products are. More descriptive signage would be super helpful for new customers! I tried asking the server the difference between the burgers (mamma, pappa, teen) and she had a hard time understanding my question, initially adding all the items to my order. I settled on the pappa burger and it was disappointing. For $7.55 I expected something more than meat, ketchup, and pickles. It's probably my fault since I didn't really understand what I was ordering and assumed it would include the regular lettuce and tomato.

Food was cold. Lettuce was not fresh either. Fries had been sitting in the warmer for quite some time. Very cold and stale.
Only thing that was good was my rootbeer.

I normally don't rate fast food chains very highly but the owners cares a lot and it shows. The restaraunts always clean and the service is always good.

I am not pleased with the quality of the food we received. The onion rings were not fresh and all of our burgers were poorly assembled. All the cheese was stuck to the bottom of the bag.
