Everything about this a&w is awful. It takes ages to go through the drive through for cold low quality food.

Used to be very good but lately, ordered to go hamburgers and got home, there is nothing in between the buns.
What a!
It happened not only once and not just myself.

I had a coupon for the 3 strips deal. When ordering at drive thru told employee I had the coupon but when I picked up my order I was charged each item individually and also for a drink, which I didn’t get.

I’d say it’s one of the better fast food definitely have had some good some bad but mostly good.

Good food, but always seems long slow drive thru, but cost of nice sized burgers comparatively

Took over 20 min to get 1 teen burger. Then not a napkin in the bag
Not sorry for the wait.nothing 4 cars behind me
You could see how mad they were. Never again

My mom ordered a chubby chicken burgermeal for my lunch, but there was no chicken in it.
I dont even want to give one star.

Unfortunately the indoor seating was closed. Pickup only @ Drive Thru. Had to eat Outside. They don't have enough staff for inside dining.

Although the sign in the window says "short staffed" They managed to prepare a pretty good meal.actually one of the better burgers we've had at A&W.

Extremely slow service at the counter while numerous cars went through the drive-through. We eventually walked out before placing our order as we saw a number of in person customers waiting for their orders as cars flew through the drive-through.

Yam fries limper than a w. ED. Ordered a double Mozza Burger w. Bacon and got a single Mozza Burger with the tiniest piece of bacon and no sauce.

Stood at counter for 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Cashier proceeded to continue filling to-go bags. Waited another few minutes and left. If you're too busy to even take an order within a reasonable amount of time then maybe you need more staff and better training. Just my opinion. Lost my business though, won't be back any time soon.

Came right before close and the staff was spectacular. Apple pies are my very favorite, you folks made my night. Thanks again!

The manager of this location needs to be fired immediately. How are you constantly out of so many menu items, including one of your signature items - onion rings? !? And then to serve me an ice cold teen burger on top of that! Cold bun and cold patty. Disgraceful. Will be a LONG time before I ever even consider going to this place again.

I don't understand why every time I get burgers from this place they are always squished and they never fill up the fries.

Was cold food and not even busy forgot half the order as well and place was not that clean

For almost $16 you can get 2 teen burgers with no combo, and moldy buns! That was our experience yesterday. There doesn't seem to be much quality control. Thank you for the prompt refund. Sadly won't be stopping here again.

A&W in North Nanaimo are a great breakfast place. The staff are friendly and the food is reliable. Great coffee and the best root beer.

Debit Machine was down 4 cards tried and we employee argued it was cards and not machine.lol.let's educate people can't n Canada before we are as ignorant as many Americans

The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Long wait for the food to be cooked. Store appeared to be short staffed. No frosted mugs. All served in take out containers? Maybe no dishwasher?

I feel like this place has really gone downhill in the last year or so. I used to absolutely love a teen burger. The last three times I've gone through the drive through, I've had to wait 20+ minutes, the order was wrong, or the food was cold and soggy by the time I got it, and the staff has been pretty rude. I gave them three chances and won't be heading back to this location. I'll drive to the downtown location or head to Woodgrove mall for a teen burger.
