That asian cashier is so friendly and hard working. He should get a rise. The view is also too good for an A&W.

We stopped at A&W for an early breakfast on our way from Vancouver to Edmonton, and it was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and I noticed they’ve upgraded their coffee brand, which tasted much better than before. The highlight, however, was the exceptional customer service we received. Overall, it was a great start to our journey

Disgusting place. Who ever was in the kitchen Saturday 5pm needs to be fired. Served me old chicken that made me extremely sick. No way that person should be any where near food. The girls upfront very nice but the kitchen staff is disgusting humans, careless and ignorant to health and safety.

I am a delivery driver so I tend to have to eat on the go. A&W is usually my go too, but lately it has been exceptionally hard to get my order correct. For some reason when I ask for no mustard some of the people ring it up as no uncle sauce or no teen sauce, but it still has mustard on it after I asked specifically for no mustard…. There is one guy there that always gets it right and it says no mustard on the receipt. For some reason the other people there can’t seem to figure it out. Probably going to stop going here because of it.

The burgers at this place are fantastic, just the right size for a meal and not greasy. Chips are always fresh. One of the great support systems in our Canadian road trip.

Lady who served us was friendly, food was warm with the exception of one bag of fries, which was cold. Delicious nonetheless and would definitely come back if I'm ever driving through the area, plus the view from our table of the Rockies was breathtaking.

Service was friendly however on a basic 2 burger order they got one completely wrong. Frustrating when you're 10 minutes down the highway.

The service here is incredibly fast and the food is actually consistently pretty good. It’s fast food but it’s honestly tasty.

Usually A&W is great. However my experience here left me disappointed
The restaurant itself is in need of a redo.
The bathroom is to left as you walk in the door.
Not good. I ran into someone coming in as I was exiting.
The place was dirty. Which led me to believe the kitchen is as well.
The food was fast food nothing great about it.
I will not be going back to this A&W again.

Food was great but service was awful. Women at the drive through kept messing up our order. They did not listen well and kept going a mile a minute. They were also rude when my card didn't work right away. Then shoved our meal at us because we were going fast enough.

Excellent breakfast. The pancakes and hash browns are the best compare to other fast food restaurants.

Burger was great, but it should be illegal to run a restaurant on the TransCanada without a functional washroom.

Great place to stop along the way. Food is always good, and the staff are always friendly.

Pass through golden 4 times a week. Always stop here at A&W best service. Always greeted with a smile. Very professional on all levels.

Was the only place in Golden that had food on a Monday night without an hour+ wait. Very friendly & prompt service!

OVERALL IMPRESSION
Fast food sure creates a lot of garbage. Hope they find a way to minimize that. I would be OK to pay a premium for reusable cutlery, cups and plates for dining in.

Unfortunately we didn't get our order right and had to wait super long for the correct stuff.was super hard to hear the drive thru intercom and honestly just didn't feel very valued.

Warning - this location closes its dining room in the early evenings (i.e. Long before dark.think 5 or 6 pm) and only operates out of the drive-thru from then until closing. This isn't communicated anywhere except on the door, so you don't learn about this premature shutdown until you've already pulled into the parking lot (which by the way is an absolute nightmare to navigate). If you arrive in the evening, expect to pay a premium for a fast food meal to eat in your lap within the cramped confines of your vehicle and then have to hunt for a washroom to use afterwards - a real slap in the face if you're on a road trip and looking for a dinner break. As an A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund unitholder for the past decade this is absolutely not up to the standard I expect from A&W Canada, and I will no longer plan any further road trip stops around A&W locations (I've "only" been to A&W locations in BC, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan over the past year). Perhaps if this A&W location continues to struggle to manage its staffing issues and can't operate a dining room or acceptable washrooms it ought to have its franchise license revoked for not meeting minimum operating standards.

I prefer A&W over they other fast food chains. For some reason the onion rings were saltier than usual at this location. Otherwise the food was good.
