Crispy and massive onions ring. Sandwich was good and fresh. Buns was soft. Love the cold and chills glass of root beer

It used to be very clean here but today I noticed tables not wiped down, fries on the floor, uneaten food at a nearby table that didn’t get cleaned up and cleared away, and overflowing trash at the area where you return your tray when you are done eating.

Arrived around 10.40pm on a Saturday. Ordered a burger meal, a chicken sandwich and a poutine. They were about to close but took my order and prepared it swiftly. Left the facility before their closing time of 11pm. Arrived home and my pountine was missing. Disappointed.

I live in the West End and my husband and I just ate here tonight and I would give this a 10 out of 10. The root beer was so cold and creamy tasting, the fries and the onion rings were piping hot and the Teen burgers were perfect The service was really fast and friendly, can't get any better than that!

I don’t go to A&W very often but typically get what is usually a satisfactory experience. At this place however I found staff lackadaisical and inattentive to my order. My 'favourite' was that the staff member used two carafes of the bottom-of-the pot coffee to try and fill a cup for me; and then finished filling it with new stuff after I waited nearly 10 minutes.even though I asked for a new, fresh cup which she agreed to. Yuck.

In the many A&Ws I've had the pleasure of eating at. This was as always a great way to have a quick and filling meal.

The burger was delicious and the service was amazing! Jasmine made sure my experience was great.

Customer service excellence at this location, Denman is unparalleled! Every customer is valued and treated with kindness, courtesy and respect. Manpreet, Arzoo and staff are fabulous! Food is great, coffee freshly brewed each time. An absolute gem!

I might have made a visit on a wrong day. Despite other good reviews, for me this location is worst A&W experience. It smells like washroom inside, no recognition of customers, flies around and the burger came out falling apart. I won’t be coming back.

Excellent location! They consistently get a perfect crust on their beyond burgers (hard to do for a&w usually), are always friendly and seem to have fresher products comparable to other dt locations.not just great cooks, the staff is friendly to boot.thanks for being dope.

The service is nice, fast, and reliable. The burger was disappointing though, mostly because of the buns, they were soft. Yam fries were also too soft and not enough crispy. Total 16 CAD for a combo with a soft drink-cheap but, also, you could get a great burger for a loonie more elsewhere.

My friend didn't have dinner so we made a stop to grab something. I had already eaten.the food was good as well as the chips I stole off my friends plate. I just had a coffee which was so hot. Not burning or anything but a good hot cup of coffee

This was the 'Full' bag of onion rings I received. It was 1/3 full. Additionally, there was something wrong with the batter. It was not up to the usual standards and was mainly just soggy onions.

Enjoyed dining at this shop in the Country where A&W originated. Tasty burger along with a Classic mug of frosty root beer!

Very best A&W in the city.

I get the very best coffee here nearly every morning. Way better than Tim Horton's or Starbucks coffee.

Staff are very friendly and work efficiently.

The store is kept clean, including washrooms.

Everything you'd expect from your good old Canadian A&W!

Decent breakfast place that has a similar menu to that of the McDonald's breakfast. It's a convenient place for those looking for quick breakfast with family.

I really enjoyed my meal but above that, the lady that helped me was very nice and kind. Did her job very well. Thank-you! The lady's name is "Arzoo" and I hope the manager or whoever is her supervisor is notified of her presentable personality. Thanks, Arzoo for your help and courteous ness.

If possible, I would give 6 stars. To me, this fast food restaurant is one of the best in the city center or downtown, Vancouver. The food is, it seems to me, always fresh and delicious. Fries are my favorite.:) Stuff is good. Special greetings to a one very nice, beautiful and very kind lady.:)

The best fast food for me in Vancouver! In any case for this address, the team is always pleasant, very professional, attentive! (add the option for tips you really deserve it) the place is always well maintained and clean. Food always fresh and good. Unbeatable value for money for me! Great food but they hold their napkins hostage behind the register and God forbid you ask for one they’re shy to give one to you. Like really? So that deducts a couple stars for me.

My experience was amazing at this store. It was my first visit to any a and w in Vancouver, and the employees provided excellent customer service. Especially Jaismeen, who assisted me in selecting the appropriate burger.

Always consistent no matter the time of day, real fast food made to order and highly flexible & customizable; there's many options around but no one is as fast and as fresh as this team - kudos to y'all for always serving yummy?

Little backstory, I had only ever been to American A&W’s (different brand since the 70’s). I wasn’t sure to expect since those ones in the US are mediocre husks of their former selves shoved in with KFC’s.

Man, was I absolutely delighted visiting this A&W. Firstly, the burger was extremely well seasoned, only fast food burger that actually tastes seasoned. I ordered the cheddar bacon uncle burger and I recommend it. Next, the root beer is properly in cold mugs and was icy cold. Finally I ordered it with poutine and was surprised with how good it was for being from a fast food place. Everything was fresh and really high quality. Seems to be something US chains could learn from.

They don’t seem like they get all that busy, at least at night, and the staff are friendly so I totally recommend it if you’re looking for a quick bite.

Amazing staff! Really fast service and clean environment. I came today for very first time and I ordered teen burger combo, it was so delicious.

I didn't eat here but they were nice enough to let my girlfriend and I use the washroom.

Pretty busy location with lots of people getting their dinner.

Probably the best and the most fresh A&W food that I’ve ever had. The customer service was also very nice, they made sure to ask me if the food was good. The whole staff seemed kind and happy. In all, I enjoyed my experience there and would surely recommend it to other people too! Cheers!

This evening I was there and after did my order, one of employees said to me you have 10 minutes time for eating and I asked you should tell me before my order not after my order again she said because you need to look the hours of working, I and my friends answered to her if we knew that we will order and why I should know that, I am a customer and employees at this location not treated me well, I am not happy because I ate my food with stress and I don't like that.

The staff at this location are extremely polite and friendly. The beyond meat burger is also super good!

Went in today to buy dinner for my daughter and the posted price for two bacon ranch chicken wraps was $4.79. When it was put into the register it said 4.99. I brought it up with the worker and she apologized repeatedly and said the sign was wrong. Then proceeded to charge me the $4.99 price. I’m not sure about what the rules are but it feels like the price posted on the menu should be the price that is charged. Anyway this place is not great for this reason and others, plus there are so many other options (even other a&w) close by that I can’t see myself ever going back here

The people at this A&W are always so nice, and super efficient. I come here on my lunch breaks more times a week than I’d like to admit and they always get my order right. Thank you to everyone here!

Amazing location, and even more amazing oeople behind the counter. I come her almost everyday for breakfast, the ladies who serve their during that time are really polite, well mannered and prepare my order quickly. Would come here everyday just for the service. Amazing people!

This location has a great set of people, they are wonderful and sweet. I only visit to this place most of the time because of their delicious onion rings and great guest service.

Overall staff is very friendly and timely! I am a semi-regular to this location and usually order online. I am always greeted with a smile and usually my order is ready as soon as I arrive!

We had a very good experience. Me and my wife got the spicy chicken habanero combo pack which tasted great. They even gave us sweet potato fries for no extra cost. We went there at around 10: 15 and there was only one more person. No indoor dining allowed at this time, but we got them pretty soon. Please visit this place if you want and the burgers are amazing.

They don't have beyond meat anymore. So disappointing. A&W, you just lost a regular customer.

Their staff still made me pay for the order and wait. Then they refunded my card payment with a bunch of small change.

Great service, excellent food and nice environment.
Gotta point out a lot of people complain about no gloves but don't seem to understand if you wash your hands often (after every meal) its safer, even during this time, then wearing gloves.

Fresh food. But.no gloves when there's a pandemic. Literally watched a person grab cheese and pickles with their bare hands.

Seriously disappointed - won't be back. I've eaten here often & always raved about the place, good food, clean premises, pleasant staff. Last week I was in twice, both times I was served by a woman who couldn't find a smile & was definitely not counter material. Oh well. Tonight, after a rough day I stopped for take out. I watched the cook take the onion rings out of the fryer, didn't look like many, but it was hard to tell. When I got home & opened the bag I checked - there were 7 rings. Both times last week I had 12, I know because I counted I was so impressed with the servings. So they ripped me off for nearly 1/2 my onion rings, not happy about that. Then I bit into my teenburger - it was ICE COLD. It had not been cooked while I was standing there, it was already made & sitting there before I walked in! I take this to mean the place is on it's way down the hill - you can't treat regular customers like that & expect to keep them. I have no intentions of going back - lots of restaurants in this city.

Disappointment all around. This restaurant sets no bar for expectations. This place is never open on time - you might as well take the hours of operations down since this place goes by it's own operating time. There's never a smile from any of the staff and if you tell them they are missing an item from your order, they huff and puff as if it's the customers fault. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

Ordered 2 burger meals to go, got home, one bun was burned on all sides badly. What would it take to toast another one? Onion rings way over cooked as well. Poor customer service, very disappointing food.

This is a nice location, service was friendly, and they even let me have the breakfast outside of the breakfast hours. I wanted breakfast so bad lol!

The teen burger I ordered today was dripping with oil and the bun was soggy. I also had to fix the layerings, it was sliding all over the place

The staff here makes this outlet special. The food is always made with care. Friendly and helpful service. Tables could do with a regular cleaning though.

Reasonable fast service, the place is kept clean. Make sure your order is right before you leave.
