Gave their new frozen root beer a try, the initial flavour was ok, nothing special, but the lingering aftertaste was awful. After the initial intense wintergreen minty toothpaste flavour a very bitter chemical taste lingered so I brought the mostly full drink back to the lady that served me to let her know about the odd taste. She stated I was the only one to mention this so I asked if it had been cleaned with a cleaner recently as I thought not being rinsed fully may be the reason, to which she replied "yes it was cleaned, but that was over two weeks ago so shouldn't be the cause". Without offering a manager to speak with I'll assume she was one. The manager then says dismissively "my apologies" then turned away to continue stacking glasses. If the last time the machine was cleaned is over two weeks ago perhaps that was the cause of the funky flavour? Regardless, wouldn't an effective manager simply apologize then offer a regular root beer instead or is a few ice cubes water and flavour concentrate going to bankrupt y'all? That said, I won't be going out of my way for an A&W anything. Good job lady

Foods are very fresh and tasty. Staff are polite and efficient. I got my meal in a timely manner.

Dont waste your money ordering from this location during late hours. Ordering from Uber or skip the cook or person putting the order together doesnt read instructions.they dont care about the food they send out! 20 dollars for cold food that looks like its been sitting under the heat lamp all day SO ANNOYED

They took out ninety percent of the seating for this moronic coffee and snacks shelf called "Pret, " which is supposed to be really fancy, but is going to go over as well as a lead Zeppelin.

Only good thing about this restaurant is the location. Service is slow and quality of the food can sometimes be very disappointing.

Food ok, bathrooms are dirty, also they recently did some reconstruction and now the seating area is reduced and the whole place feels crammed.

As a shift worker I usually don't eat breakfast but $10 for fast served runny eggs and toast is a good deal for any busy commuter too bad they are not open untill midnight. Eat in free wifi good service just renovated hard to beat in this area perfect location best aw around. Inside or covered patio outside with available seating all hours of SkyTrain operation. After 11 pm the airport might be open for. Something not sure.enjoy marine drive station also t and t shoppers Tims underground parking walk.to.bridgrport scenic or bike over the river nice area and more stores over the bridge as well. And the night market as well is a 25 minute walk or 15 minute bike again over the newer bike Bridge same bridge the train takes.or 8 minutes to Aberdeen and more stuff there.

Great affordable all Canadian breakfast for $9! Only thing is the service was a bit of a wait. It took ~20 minutes.

Nothing out of the ordinary, for an A&W location. Good comfortable seating. Not busy or crowded at any one time. People come in for take-out and dine-in. I like their breakfast sandwiches and their Great Canadian Breakfast with coffee. Highly recommend A&W fast food chain.

It very much depends on the staff who are working on the days that I've gone in to order food. It is the same issue that I brought up before with other locations - some staff don't pack the kids meal properly and even leave out the box. I've had several issues where we have to double-check the order to make sure that the granola bar and apple slices were included in our kids meal order. This happened several times at this location.

When I see that the order is missing those items I have confronted the staff member who didn't include them in my order - they usually give me a b.s. Excuse as to why there were missing items in the order. But surprise surprise, the missings items show up within easy reach.

Other times, the staff have been excellent and the orders packed perfectly. Is this a management issue? My family doesn't like getting ripped off.

Early Saturday morning on my way to work, normally the staffs are nice but today the girl at till was unpleasant with voice tone of rudeness.

My burger was dry af, bland and cold. If I wasn't as hungry as I was at the time I probably wouldn't have gotten past two bites. A&W is the only fast food I can eat anymore without feeling like trash the next day. Adding this one to that no go list. At least the fries were fresh.

I ordered my food for pickup and i have to wait there for 25 minutes i don’t why they call it a fast food and their staff was wearing earphones and he is more focused on his phone then the order

I ordered 4 chipotle chicken wrap with onion ring at 11: 40 PM today. And When I checked food in my place, She just gave me 2 chicken wrap instead of 4. These was my dinner after 13 hours working. Really feel bad. There wasn’t busy at that time.

I got the spicy chicken burger and the sweet potato fries. Taste was good, but facilities and tables are very dirty. Got stomach sick afterwards.

Multiple times ordered ubereats from this location to have whole items and/or part of items missing. Chicken BLTs missing bacon and tomatoes. Super cheap with condiments. Many times coffee missing from the order. Very cheap with sugar and cream as well. This restaurant charges you for BLT but gives you plain chicken sandwich. FRAUD

They always forget your food on the counter. Always have to point at my food and ask for them to hand it to me. I should just go back there and just grab it myself.

Waited for 20 minutes for picking up online order for hamburger and fries only … the crew looks inexperienced…

Zubin and the team were awesome tonight. Super friendly, and efficient service. Apple pies were hot and amazing

A & W is normally a pretty safe bet. But this one is run like a joke, out of everything and still got my order wrong.

They have a really good patio, also friendly staffs
One disappointing fact is that its really hard to find a car parking

Have been a regular for over 2 years. Apart from sometimes forgetting the napkins on my "to go" orders and a couple of buns instead of the English muffins. It's a good place to eat with competent and polite staff.

This location is bad theri rude and iv bin told tier close when in fact ther was still 15min left why couldn't get my buddy burgers.

Nice, clean establishment right next to a Canada Line SkyTrain station. One can also dine outside watching YVR flight operations and the Canada Line while having a decent cheeseburger. Recommend, but not as spectacular to dine at as a Triple O's.

They want to put the credit card in the app for a free burger, we ask to casher and manager and they juste say it is an obligation but. It is not legal.

The food is great. Sometimes the cooks are rushed or inexperienced, though.so the food can occasionally be poorly presented, incorrect, or just not really great. Hopefully they will get staff that care more.

Clean fast food establishment with a pleasant atmosphere inna convenient location. What more could you ask for?

This place is no longer worth it! 60 bucks for three meals. To boot the wait for fast food!? No longer a fan of this place! Food tastes the same and price keeps getting higher!

I love this little place, excellent, just my only concern is that, because its proximity to the canada line.a lot of people use the A&W washroom like public washroom, homeless, construction workers etc, and they don’t buy anything, marine gateway should put some public washroom, or compensate A & W, for this service.

I went into the Marine Drive Station branch and tried their new Cod Burger. Two strips of breaded cod fillet with slaw on a bun. I'd say the cod meat is tastier compared to a regular fish fillet burger. And there's just enough breading to coat (not cover) which makes me enjoy the cod meat more. And I like that the amount of slaw was just right, not drowning the fillet. Will definitely order this on my next visit.

OMG! The food i received at this location was soooooooooooooooooo good. Everything tasted so fresh. Even my sister ordered a veggie burger and she said it was cooked so perfectly. I would drive 20 blocks more to this location instead of the regular location i usually go to. Also the manager Marcel was very nice and pleasent.

5 starZ. Very friendly and efficient customer service, my order is always FRESH, and I get it QUICK. Definitely a great location for the A&W franchise. You have to try the Beyond burger, so tasty!

When you want to treat yourself but want to remain friendly-ish. Love their efforts to make food wrapping compostable. Would be even greater if they ask whether we want ketchup - I always get them but never end up using or eating.

Out of all the fast food restaurants, AW is probably the best in quality. I usually get their beyond meat burger. Don’t forget the onion rings and any drink in the frosted mug! This location is the best one.

Very hard to find the door, entrance is small and hidden next to metro entrance. The convenient location to riders does not mean convenience to the drivers and delivery partners. Parking here is usually very horrible in general, public parking is costy and spaces are also limited. Saw the staffs ignore pickup drivers from time to time, show no respect to them at all. Decent A&W food, nothing special or stand out from the franchise, waiting time to get food here normally around 5 to 10 minutes.

Fantastic burgers. I have missed juicy burgers in Asia. This fast food joint has consistent juicy burgers.

Decent burgers and fast service. Nice and clean ambiance, very convenient location nearby the skytrain.

Standard A&W. Solid location near the transit stations and theatre. I've eaten there multiple times before/after seeing a movie at Marine Gateway theatre.

I really like this A&W. The staff are friendly, the food is really good. Can't ask for more! The place is clean, and right by the Canada Line which means it's convenient! 10/10

This is one of the best A&W I have ever been. The place is kept pretty clean, also the service is fast. The 56 papa I had today was cooked perfectly. Cooked all the way through but was not overcooked, nice and quite juicy for a franchise burger! Best franchise burger you can get was from here.

Fast service. Friendly. Tried the beyond meat burger and honestly as a meat eater myself could barely tell the difference. Very yummy!

Very bad reputation under poor management. They only care about dine in customers, but this is a location for transit customers and they always in a hurry. I waited for my bacon & egg English muffin for 10 minutes and when I asked to see the store manager, she showed up after 5 minutes and said she needed to wash her hands!

Burger is good, staff are nice, but the quality of root beer varies a lot.

I have been there many times, they have the ability to serve very very good root beer - cool, sweet to the point and the most important of all, a chilled glass jar, the right enough amount of gas in the root beer and has a layer of foam on the top. Unfortunately this does not happen all the time.this time on this A&W store, the jar is not cold enough eventhough it was from the fridge, the root beer did not have enough gas - only a small scale of bubbles and too sweet. Well, not only this A&W, but sometimes also the others.

I talked to the manager once about the quality of the root beer, he was so kind and replaced it for me, he also told me that if the quality is not up to standard, inform them. This is good, but I think it is also very true that they should carry out self-inspections to check their machines before serving their customers instead being told what needs to be done. Afterall, we are there to enjoy and have fun, right? !
